EP: 081 - Hiding Binge Eating From A Loved One
Bingeing and eating in secret can feel embarrassing & shameful. At least that’s how I used to feel. For an entire decade, food controlled my life. Binge eating was a “secret” I had kept from Andrew during the first few years we were dating. It got to a point where I was “forced” into being open about my food struggles because I couldn’t live a single day longer in this mental turmoil. That ONE conversation that I had with Andrew didn’t solve everything. In fact, it almost solved nothing. Andrew never had a binge eating problem so he didn’t know HOW to help me.
