Ep 292Realistically Living in Sync with Your Cycle: How & Why Any Woman Can Sync with Their Cycle!

Understanding your menstrual cycle and cycle syncing can empower you to take control of your health and wellbeing, and to live in harmony with your body's natural rhythms. Understanding cycle syncing (a term from Alisa Vitti) can have numerous benefits for women, both in terms of their physical and mental health. Cycle syncing involves aligning your daily routines, diet, exercise, and other habits with your menstrual cycle, which is a reflection of your body's hormonal fluctuations. By doing so, you can optimize your energy levels, mood, sleep, and productivity, as well as reduce symptoms of PMS and menstrual cramps. But for many women they do not feel they can realistically make life changes because their cycle - and I totally understand that - but understanding your biology will help you better understand yourself. Ep 291Is Life Too Busy? From Burnout to Balance: How to Create a Productive Mindset When You’re Busy

I have lived through both "hustle culture" and "slow living." Both had their positive and negative impacts on my mental, physcial, and emotional health. One brought on a lot of "success" while the other left me feeling like I was "missing" something and not living to my maximum potential. Now I have a beautiful blend of both in what I like to call... Intentionally Busy! Living a full well-rounded life in the midst of a very busy season. What is Intentionally Busy? Being busy is often perceived as a negative thing in our society, as if it means we're overworked, stressed, and have no time to enjoy life. However, being busy isn't necessarily a bad thing in and of itself. It can be a sign that we're actively pursuing our goals, taking on new challenges, and growing in our personal and professional lives. Being busy can also help us stay engaged and motivated, and can lead to a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. It's important, however, to find a balance between being productive and overworking ourselves, and to make sure we're taking care of our physical and mental health. Ultimately, being busy isn't inherently good or bad—it's all about how we approach it and what we make of our time. Joelle on Instagram

Ep 276Declutter Your Home, Spend Less Time Cleaning, and Create a Reset Routine | Guest Lisa Lizotte

Today we have a great episode on decluttering your home, how to spend less time cleaning, and create a reset routine that makes your home feel tidy and peaceful each and every night. Our homes are the space and place for us to gather, live, and rest! While I personally am not a minimalist - I do keep things very simple, clean, and tidy in our home because I want to take care of it. I don't enjoy cleaning, but I do enjoy a peaceful, put together space and while I am in the midst of motherhood with toys all around and some clutter I can still enjoy my home and keep it decluttered. I am also focusing on progressive overload and being intentional in my strength training workouts to make progress.
