I have lived through both "hustle culture" and "slow living." Both had their positive and negative impacts on my mental, physcial, and emotional health.
One brought on a lot of "success" while the other left me feeling like I was "missing" something and not living to my maximum potential.
Now I have a beautiful blend of both in what I like to call... Intentionally Busy! Living a full well-rounded life in the midst of a very busy season.
What is Intentionally Busy?
Being busy is often perceived as a negative thing in our society, as if it means we're overworked, stressed, and have no time to enjoy life. However, being busy isn't necessarily a bad thing in and of itself. It can be a sign that we're actively pursuing our goals, taking on new challenges, and growing in our personal and professional lives. Being busy can also help us stay engaged and motivated, and can lead to a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. It's important, however, to find a balance between being productive and overworking ourselves, and to make sure we're taking care of our physical and mental health.
Ultimately, being busy isn't inherently good or bad—it's all about how we approach it and what we make of our time.
