2019 IM 70.3 World Championship Scouting Report with Rudy Von Berg
Rudy von Berg is a professional triathlete. Born in the USA, he grew up in France and is now back in the US, currently living and training in Boulder, Colorado. Over the past 18 months, he's been tearing up the circuit with victories at (among others) the 2018 70.3 South American championship, the 2018/19 70.3 European Championship, and the 2019 70.3 North America Championship. He comes by his triathlon abilities honestly; his father competed at IRONMAN Kona three times when Rudy was growing up. Successful triathlon training at Sprint, Olympic, 70.3 in the same year with Justin Lippert

Justin Lippert was a successful NCAA collegiate track and cross country runner at Clemson before he quit running altogether after his junior year. When some of his running buddies took up triathlon, Justin figured he'd try it too. Not only did he quickly fall in love with the sport, after just one summer of serious training, he won the 2018 Age Group Nationals in both the Sprint and Olympic distances, and the 2018 70.3 Long Course national championships.
