That high of 40 later today is basically normal for mid-March, clouds will thicken up through the afternoon. You might catch a few flurries in Central Vermont after 1 P.M., but don't expect anything to stick. As the sun sets. Tonight is when the action starts, rain arrives after midnight. Southern Vermont could see a quick window of freezing rain between 9 degrees and 4. A.M., but it will flip to plain rain fast as temps climb into the mid 30s. The Northeast Kingdom gets in on the rain by 5 A.M, while the Champlain Valley bottoms out around a mild 32 degrees. Monday brings the fire hose, moisture streams north from the Atlantic, bringing heavy rain and howling winds. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Champlain Valley from 11 P.M. Tonight until 8 P.M. Monday. Gusts could hit 45 miles an hour, highs surge into the 50s and 60s. Burlington hits 63 degrees. Then the bottom falls out, a cold front crosses Monday evening. Expect scattered snow showers and a biting wind, tuesday night lows drop into the single digits. Looking ahead. Looking at the week ahead, we dry out Wednesday, while highs rebound to the upper 30s by Thursday. Another system brings a chance of rain and snow Friday into Saturday, it looks unsettled to close out the week. One final note for you folks, mud season is about two weeks away. With the heavy rain Monday, dirt roads will turn to soup in a hurry. Take it slow if you're traveling the backroads, we'll be back with your next forecast morning. See you this afternoon.
Vermont Weather 3/14 - Evening - Spring Fling Reality Check Today
Good evening. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Happy Saturday, folks. We picked up a dusting of snow in the last 24 hours—just enough to make the sidewalks slick. Step outside and you'll feel 34 degrees under gray skies. We're climbing to 41 today, which is 9 degrees warmer than your typical March afternoon. As the sun sets. Tonight brings a chill back to the Green Mountains. Southern Vermont drops to 14 degrees under mostly cloudy skies, with a breeze out of the west. In Central Vermont. Here comes a low around 19, you might see a few stray snow showers before 11 P.M. Skies clear out a bit later on. Up in the Northeast Kingdom, temperatures fall to 17. Snow showers are possible before midnight as winds shift to the northwest. Moving on. Here's the big story, a powerful storm is targeting Vermont. Sunday starts deceptively calm with clouds and sun, highs in the upper 30s. But Sunday night, a warm front lifts north, bringing rain and freezing rain. Freezing rain is likely in Central Vermont late Sunday, setting up slick travel for your Monday morning commute. Temperature-wise. Monday turns wild. Strong southerly winds develop as highs surge into the mid 50s. Rain becomes widespread. And it gets gusty, the drama peaks Monday night when a strong cold front sweeps through. Temperatures plummet 20 degrees. That rain changes to snow, potentially causing a flash freeze on the roads. Tuesday stays bitter. Highs only reach the upper 20s with snow showers likely, wind chills will sit in the teens. Wednesday finally brings calmer weather, with highs returning to the 30s under mostly sunny skies. The rest of the week looks seasonable. Mud season is about two weeks away, so enjoy the firm ground while you can. Sunrise was at 7:08 A.M., sunset is at 6:58 P.M. We're gaining three minutes of daylight. As the sun sets. Keep an eye on those back roads for ice tonight. — See you tomorrow.

Vermont Weather 3/9 Midday - Flood Warning
Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you'll feel 48 degrees. In early March. That's just the warmup act. Today we hit 60 degrees under sunshine — 22 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Tuesday cranks it even higher. Central Vermont reaches 63. Southern areas hit 59. The northeast tops out at 60. These are near-record temperatures for March 9th. Tonight stays mild. Lows drop to 31 in the northeast, 37 down south, 38 in central areas. You won't need the heavy blanket. Then Wednesday flips the script. Rain moves in — heavy at times — with highs still in the 50s. A quarter to half inch falls during the day. Wednesday night brings another half to three-quarters of an inch. That's when the real show starts. Thursday morning a cold front crashes through like an uninvited guest. Rain changes to snow as temperatures nosedive 30 degrees in hours. Highs struggle to reach the low 40s before plummeting to the teens Thursday night. Wind chills drop to 15 below zero. That's the kind of cold that bites. The weekend stays active. Friday brings snow chances with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Lows fall to the low 20s Friday night as snow becomes likely. Saturday continues the snow with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Sunday delivers another round of likely snow with highs near 40. Here's the thing about this week. We're gaining 3 minutes of daylight each day. The spring equinox arrives in 11 days. But winter isn't done yet — not even close. Enjoy the warmth while you've got it. By Thursday you'll wonder if it ever happened. See you this evening.
Vermont Weather 3/9 Morning - Flood Warning
Good morning. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you'll feel 44 degrees. In early March. Yeah, you read that right. Today's bringing the kind of warmth that makes you wonder if you accidentally time-traveled to April. Highs climb into the upper 50s and low 60s statewide. Southern Vermont tops out near 55. Central Vermont hits 60. Northeast Kingdom reaches 57. That's 22 degrees warmer than normal — the kind of heat that gets sap flowing in the sugar maples. But here's the catch. Southwest winds pick up, gusting to 26 miles an hour in the south and 33 through central areas. The breeze takes a little edge off, but you'll still be ditching the heavy coat. Tonight stays mild. Lows only drop to the mid to upper 30s under mostly clear skies. Light winds keep things comfortable. Tuesday doubles down. Sunshine returns with highs climbing even higher — 59 south, 63 central, 60 northeast. Light winds make it feel like a perfect spring preview. Here's the plot twist. Wednesday brings clouds and rain developing, highs still in the upper 50s. Wednesday night into Thursday, a strong cold front crashes through. Rain flips to snow for some areas. And temperatures nosedive. Thursday sees highs only in the low 40s before dropping to the teens overnight. Friday stays cold with a chance of snow, highs in the mid to upper 30s. The weekend brings more unsettled weather — snow likely Friday night into Saturday, then another system possible Sunday. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts. Winter's not done with us yet. See you this afternoon.

Vermont Weather 3/8 Midday - Flood Warning
Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you'll feel spring trying to crash the party. We're sitting at 50 degrees — that's 16 degrees warmer than normal for early March. The kind of warmth that gets sugar maples dripping and boots swapped for sneakers. Southern Vermont woke up foggy with a brief rain chance wrapping up by 10 A.M. Highs near 45 degrees, but the real story is the wind — gusts hitting 29 miles an hour out of the west. Tonight drops to 33. Central Vermont gets the best of it today. Mostly sunny skies, highs near 54. And lighter winds around 9 miles an hour with gusts to 26. Tonight falls to 35 under clear skies. Northeast Vermont sees a quick rain shower possible before 1 P.M., then sunshine takes over. Highs near 51 with southwest winds 7 to 13 miles an hour. Tonight's low around 29. Here's your heads-up for the week ahead. Monday stays mild with sunshine and highs in the upper 50s statewide. Perfect weather for soaking up those extra three minutes of daylight we're gaining today. Tuesday pushes into the low 60s — that's when the real snowmelt kicks in. Wednesday is when things flip. Rain arrives with highs still in the 50s, but a cold front barrels in Wednesday night. We're talking rain-to-snow, gusty winds. And temperatures crashing hard. Thursday brings the plunge — highs only in the mid 30s to low 40s with lingering snow showers. Wind gusts could hit 40 miles an hour. The weekend stays chilly with snow chances and highs in the 30s. Don't forget — clocks spring forward tonight. You lose an hour of sleep, but the spring equinox is just 12 days away. See you tomorrow.
Vermont Weather 3/8 Morning - 16° Above Normal
Good morning. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside and you'll feel it. 47 degrees right now. That's 16 degrees above normal for early March. The kind of mild morning that gets folks thinking about tapping maple trees. We picked up a bit of rain overnight. And a few lingering showers are wrapping up as we speak. Down south, those last showers clear out by 8 A.M., then partly sunny skies push in. Highs reach 45 degrees with breezy west winds gusting to 29 miles an hour. Tonight drops to 33 degrees under mostly clear skies. Central Vermont sees mostly sunny conditions after early morning clouds. You'll hit 54 degrees with lighter southwest winds around 6 miles an hour. Tonight falls to 35 degrees. Up northeast, a slight chance of showers wraps up by 7 A.M., then partly sunny skies take over. Highs near 51 degrees with southwest winds around 6 miles an hour. Tonight dips to 29 degrees under mostly clear skies. Monday brings beautiful weather statewide. Mostly sunny skies with highs from 56 degrees south to 59 degrees central. Monday night stays mild, with lows in the low to mid 30s. Tuesday continues the spring preview with sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Wednesday brings clouds and rain likely by afternoon as a warm front lifts north. Then the big story hits Thursday. A strong cold front crashes through with rain transitioning to snow and temperatures plummeting. We're talking a 30 degrees temperature drop from Wednesday to Thursday night. Friday and Saturday stay cold with highs in the mid to upper 30s and chances for snow showers. Enjoy the mild start while it lasts. See you this afternoon.
Vermont Weather 3/7 Midday - Spring Tease Thrill
Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. We're waking up to a real April fool's joke in March. Burlington is already sitting at 49 degrees—nearly 20 degrees warmer than normal. But don't get too attached to that sunshine. A warm front stalled to our southwest is dragging in a whole lot of moisture, meaning our pleasant afternoon turns into a wet, windy night. Down in Southern Vermont, you're at 48 degrees under mostly sunny skies. But rain showers roll in after 8 PM. Here's the strange part: temperatures actually rise overnight, landing in the upper 40s by midnight. Winds gust out of the southwest up to 26 miles an hour, so secure those trash cans. Sunday dries out by 8 AM, leaving you with a blustery high near 47 degrees. Central Vermont is the warm spot today, hitting 56 degrees—that's a solid 18 degrees above normal. Rain arrives by 7 PM. And it gets dramatic. Gusts could hit 31 miles an hour tonight. Sunday clears out by afternoon with highs still pleasant at 54 degrees. Northeast Vermont tops out at 51 degrees. You'll see the heaviest rain overnight, with up to a quarter-inch falling after 7 PM. Temperatures hover in the low 40s overnight before clearing skies Sunday morning drop you to a crisp 28 degrees—perfect for watching the sunrise at 6:21 AM. Looking ahead, this warm spell hangs around. Monday and Tuesday bring upper 50s, maybe even low 60s. But keep an eye on the rivers—this warmth means rapid snowmelt. A midweek storm brings rain Wednesday into Thursday, possibly ending as snow in the mountains as temperatures crash back to the teens. It's wild to think that on this day in 2018, we were digging out from back-to-back nor'easters. Today? we're talking thunderstorms. Enjoy the spring preview, but maybe check your sump pump. See you tomorrow.
Vermont Weather 3/7 Morning - Foggy & Showery Stroll
Good morning. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside today and you’ll feel something unusual for early March. Warmth. We’re talking highs soaring 18 degrees above normal, with some spots flirting with 60 degrees. But don't get too comfortable. This warmth is just a teaser. And by midweek, winter will remind us it’s not done yet. Southern Vermont wakes up to patchy fog and a mild 40 degrees. That fog burns off by mid-morning, leaving you with partly sunny skies and a high of 49. But tonight? Rain showers roll in after 7 PM, lingering through the night with a low of 40. Central Vermont is the warm spot today. You’ll start with a chance of light rain this morning—nothing heavy, just enough to dampen the roads. By afternoon, the sun breaks through, pushing temperatures to a balmy 56 degrees. That’s right, 56! But tonight, rain showers return. And you’ll wake up to a cooler Sunday with highs near 53. Northeast Vermont is playing catch-up. You’ll see rain likely this morning, tapering off by noon. Highs hit 51, but the real cooldown comes tonight, with lows dipping to 41. Sunday brings a mix of sun and clouds, but the warmth sticks around—highs near 50. Rain showers arrive statewide by 9 PM, peaking around 11 PM. Lows hover in the 40s for most, but the Northeast Kingdom drops to 41. By Sunday morning, the rain tapers off, leaving behind a cooler, drier day. This weekend’s warmth is a preview of what’s ahead. Monday and Tuesday will feel more like April, with highs in the 50s and even 60s in some spots. But by midweek, reality hits. A slow-moving cold front arrives Wednesday, bringing rain—and yes, eventually, snow. Highs on Thursday will struggle to reach 40. And by Friday, we’re back to the 30s. Winter isn’t giving up without a fight. For the maple syrup producers out there, this weekend’s warmth and overnight freezes are perfect for sap flow. But keep an eye on those buckets—rain tonight could make for a messy Sunday morning. On this day in 2018. Vermont was buried under over 4 feet of snow from back-to-back nor’easters. Today? We’re 18 degrees above normal. Classic March. Enjoy this weekend’s warmth. It’s a gift. But don’t put away the shovel just yet. Winter’s got one more act. See you this afternoon.
Vermont Weather 3/7 Morning - Spring Fling Fogged In
Good morning. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you’ll feel that damp, 39-degree chill. But don't get comfortable, because today’s forecast is like flipping through all four seasons in a single hour. Up in the Northeast Kingdom, you’re dealing with a Winter Weather Advisory until **7 A.M.** Freezing rain is glazing over untreated roads in St. Johnsbury and Newport, so watch for slick spots on your morning commute. By afternoon? A total flip. Highs jump to **51 degrees** — 13 degrees above normal. Down through the spine of the state in Montpelier and Barre, you’re sitting at 31 degrees now, but southerly winds are already pushing warmer air in. You’ll hit **56 degrees** today — 18 degrees above normal. That’s the kind of warmth that’ll have you shedding jackets by lunchtime, just keep an eye out for gusts hitting **30 miles an hour**. Down in Bennington and Brattleboro, you’ve got patchy fog and a slight chance of freezing rain early. You’ll top out at **49 degrees** — cooler than the spine of the state, but still 11 degrees warmer than usual. Rain showers move in after **9 P.M.** tonight, with lows holding steady in the 40s. Looking ahead, we’re flirting with **60 degrees** by Monday and Tuesday. That’s a full 20 degrees above normal. But all that warmth comes with a cost — we’re looking at significant snowmelt and potential ice jams on rivers by midweek. Enjoy the taste of spring, but watch for those icy patches this morning. See you tomorrow. See you this afternoon.
Vermont Weather 3/6 Morning - Winter Weather Advisory
Good morning. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you'll feel that damp 20 degrees clinging to everything. The messy overnight mix — snow, sleet, the works — wrapped up around 5 A.M. The worst is behind us. Southern Vermont took the brunt. Less than an inch of accumulation, but watch for sneaky slick spots on untreated roads through mid-morning. Today climbs to 32 under mostly cloudy skies. Tonight dips to 29, then Saturday flips the script with a jump to 47. Central Vermont saw the same light snow wrapping up by 5 A.M. Roads improve as we climb to 38 this afternoon. Tonight settles at 32, then Saturday brings a dramatic warm-up — 54 degrees with rain and drizzle likely. That's a 22-degree swing in 24 hours. Northeast Vermont stayed mostly cloudy overnight, bottoming out at 20. Today reaches 39 — right on target for early March. Tonight holds at 30 before Saturday's warmth arrives. Highs near 47 with a chance of freezing drizzle early. Cover those plants if you've got anything optimistic outside. Here's your heads-up for the week ahead. Saturday brings that big warm-up — upper 40s to mid-50s with rain by evening. Sunday clears out, partly sunny, upper 40s to low 50s. Monday and Tuesday look gorgeous — sunny with highs climbing into the mid-50s. Wednesday brings rain showers back, mid-40s, before cooler air returns Thursday. One quick note — with temperatures climbing well above freezing this weekend and rain on the way, we'll be watching for potential ice jams on area rivers. Snowmelt plus rainfall can cause localized issues. See you tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast See you tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 5 Midday - 20° Above Normal
Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That fog clinging to the valleys this morning? Consider it the appetizer. The main course arrives tonight. And it's a mixed bag. In the next 24 hours. Right now we're at 27 degrees with fog still hanging around. Central and Northeast Vermont get the best of today — mostly sunny skies, highs near 40 degrees. That's textbook early March. Southern Vermont? Clouds roll in through the afternoon with rain possible. You'll hit 39 degrees down there. Here's where things get messy. Cold air slides south tonight. That rain in Southern Vermont flips to sleet and freezing rain between 7 P.M. and 1 A.M. Then it switches to snow. A Winter Weather Advisory runs from 5 P.M. Today through noon Friday for Bennington and Windham counties. You're looking at 1 to 2 inches of snow and sleet, plus a light glaze of ice. Friday morning's commute? Plan extra time. Central Vermont catches snow after 10 P.M. — less than half an inch expected. Up in the Northeast Kingdom, just a brief snow shower around 4 A.M. Friday stays cloudy with highs in the mid 30s statewide. A few lingering snow showers early. Now the plot twist. This weekend brings a massive warm-up. Saturday climbs to the upper 40s and mid 50s. Sunday stays in the 50s. Monday and Tuesday? Upper 50s to near 60 degrees. That's 21 degrees to 20 degrees above normal for March. Spring equinox is two weeks out. Mud season starts in about four weeks. Tonight's full moon might light up that falling snow. Sunrise at 6:25 A.M., sunset at 5:47 P.M. — we're gaining over 3 minutes of daylight today. If you're driving south tonight, keep the speed down. Ice doesn't announce itself. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 5 Morning - 20° Above Normal
Good morning. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That blue sky overhead? It's lying to you. We've got a messy evening ahead. In the next 24 hours. Right now we're sitting at 29 degrees. Today climbs to 41 — about 20 degrees above normal for early March. But here's where it gets weird. Cold air slides in this afternoon and temperatures actually drop as the day goes on. Southern Vermont, you're in for a wild ride. Rain starts after noon, then things get complicated. Between 7 P.M. and 1 A.M., that rain flips to sleet and freezing rain before finally settling into snow overnight. You're looking at 1 to 2 inches by Friday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory kicks in at 5 P.M. Today and runs through noon Friday. If you've got evening plans, move them up or push them back. Central Vermont stays quieter longer. Partly sunny through the day, then a chance of snow after 10 P.M. Less than half an inch expected, but that Friday morning commute could still be slick. Northeast Vermont? You dodge the worst of it. Partly sunny today, high near 41, just a slight chance of snow toward dawn. Tonight's full moon won't stick around long. Clouds roll in statewide as that wintry mix arrives. For the weekend. Saturday brings a dramatic flip — highs climb to the upper 40s to mid 50s. Then early next week? Upper 50s to near 60 degrees. That's 15 to 20 degrees above normal. Snowmelt is coming fast. One bright spot — we're gaining over 3 minutes of daylight today. Sunrise was at 6:25, sunset at 5:47. Southern Vermont, give yourself extra time Friday morning. Those roads won't be friendly. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 4 Evening - 20° Above Normal
Good evening. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That dusting of snow overnight? Already a memory. We're sitting at 47 degrees right now — that's 21 degrees warmer than usual for early March. The sun is out, winds are light. And it feels like spring is knocking on the door. In the next 24 hours. Southern Vermont climbs to 43 degrees under sunny skies tonight, dipping to 23 degrees. Central Vermont hits 47 today, settling to 29 overnight. Up in the Northeast Kingdom, expect 45 with partly cloudy skies and a low around 26. Full moon rises tonight, by the way — perfect for a clear, cold evening. Tomorrow stays quiet with partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 40s statewide. But here's the thing: a Winter Weather Advisory kicks in Thursday at 7 P.M. and runs through 1 P.M. Friday. Southern Vermont takes the brunt of it — freezing rain and sleet with up to an inch of snow and sleet accumulation. Ice could build up to two-tenths of an inch. Central Vermont sees snow likely Thursday night with minor accumulations. The Northeast Kingdom gets a chance of snow late. Friday morning's commute looks tricky. Plan extra time. The weekend brings a complete turnaround. Saturday warms into the upper 40s to low 50s with rain showers. Then we really warm up. Monday hits 50 to 57 degrees. Tuesday pushes toward 60 in spots. That's 20 degrees above normal. Spring equinox is just two weeks away. Enjoy today's sunshine. Because Thursday night brings our next round of winter. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 4 Midday - Clear Skies
Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That little snow we scraped off the cars this morning? Already history. Step outside and you'll feel the sun doing the heavy lifting. We're climbing fast today. Central Vermont hits 47 degrees this afternoon — that's 24 degrees warmer than usual for early March. Down in Southern Vermont, you'll see 42 degrees under bright sun. Folks, it's the perfect day to walk the woods and check how the sap is running. The trees are definitely feeling it. In the next 24 hours. Tonight stays clear with a full moon rising. It will be cold enough to crisp up the snowpack — lows drop to 24 in the north and 26 in the south. If you've ever tried moonlit skiing or snowshoeing, tonight is your night. But here's the catch. Thursday starts quiet, but clouds thicken fast. Rain slides into Southern Vermont by afternoon. Then the real trouble shows up Thursday night. Cold air rushes in. And that rain freezes on contact. Southern Vermont, you're looking at a serious ice storm — up to half an inch of ice possible. Central Vermont sees snow mixing with sleet and freezing rain. Friday morning's commute could be a mess, so keep an eye on it. The weekend brings a total reversal. Saturday surges into the mid-50s. Sunday stays warm in the low 50s. By Tuesday, some valleys could hit 60 degrees. All that warmth plus melting snow means mud season is knocking on the door — about four weeks early. We're gaining over three minutes of daylight today. The spring equinox is just sixteen days away. Grab that extra layer for tonight. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Take care That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 4 Morning - 20° Above Normal
Good morning. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That half-inch of snow from yesterday is doing something interesting this morning. It's reacting to temperatures hovering right at 28 degrees, creating a low fog. And hidden black ice on untreated surfaces. You'll want to watch your step until about 9 A.M. That's when the sun breaks through, burns off the fog. And we get a surprisingly nice day. In the next 24 hours. Central Vermont steals the warmth today, hitting 47 degrees — that's a solid 20 degrees above normal for early March. Southern Vermont tops out near 42, while the Northeast Kingdom climbs to 44. With light winds across the state, it's going to feel downright mild out there. Tonight, skies clear under a full moon. Lows drop to 20 in the Northeast Kingdom, 24 in central Vermont. And 26 down south. If you've cross-country skis, tonight is the night to use them. Thursday starts dry with highs in the low 40s. But Thursday night is when things get slippery. A wintry mix spreads north. Southern Vermont sees freezing rain likely — a 90 percent chance. Central and northern areas get snow transitioning to sleet and freezing rain overnight. If you've Friday morning plans, prepare for a slow commute. Saturday brings a pattern shift. Rain showers move through as temperatures surge into the low to mid-50s. Then we really warm up. Sunday through Tuesday looks sunny with highs climbing from the upper 40s into the upper 50s. Some valleys could touch 60 degrees by Tuesday. We're gaining over three minutes of daylight every day now. Spring is knocking on the door. Enjoy the calm today. Because Thursday night gets messy. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
Vermont Weather March 4 Evening - 20° Above Normal
Good evening. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That dusting of snow overnight left us with about four-tenths of an inch. It’s pretty, but watch your step on the porch — freezing drizzle has created some slick spots this morning. Temperatures are sitting in the mid-20s to around 30 degrees, so it feels like winter out there right now. In the next 24 hours. But the sun is about to rescue us. Expect it to break through by late morning. And once it does, we climb fast. Southern Vermont hits 42 degrees. Central Vermont warms to 47 — that's 20 degrees above normal for early March. Even the Northeast Kingdom gets in on the thaw, topping out at 44. With light winds, it's going to feel genuinely mild this afternoon. Tonight offers a treat if you're stepping out. Skies clear completely, letting the Full Moon light up the landscape. Lows dip to 26 in the south, 24 in central areas. And a chilly 20 up in the Northeast Kingdom.
