On Wednesday the fans in Boston were chanting F-U Green during Game 3 of the NBA Finals. After the game Donte's wife Hazel Renee took to Instagram to rip the Boston fans. She had a lot to say including this " in NO WAY shape or form should fans be able to chant obscenities at players! Are they not human? My kids were at the game tonight hearing that mess. Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans. Just shameful!" I am just curious, is your husband the dame Donte Green who gave the double bird to the fans in Memphis a few weeks ago. What a country! Even the NBA Finals Ratings have become political. If you are on the right the numbers are down because the NBA has gone woke. If you are on the left, it's because of the pandemic and fewer people now watch tv etc. The reality is the numbers are down from 5 , 10, 15 years ago. There are many reasons including the ones aforementioned. I think the games just aren't as compelling due to the three point shot. Look at this year's playoffs. There have been so many bad games. The Tampa Bay Rays had "Pride Night" on Saturday. As part of the celebration, they put rainbow-colored patches on the uniforms. That was not ok with five of the players including pitcher Jason Adam. Adam spoke on behalf of the other four players and said it was a faith-based decision. He also made it very clear he wants people of the LBGTQA+ to "feel safe and welcome here". As you can imagine Adam and the other four players are being attacked by the "woke" mob and has put the Rays in a tough spot. My question is why put the logo on the uniform in the first place? ABC News put on Twitter " the former Dallas Cowboys ,running back who scored plenty of touchdowns without recording a 1,000 yard season, has died". Really? Last week the Washington Post put out a tweet commemorating the two year anniversary of Geroge Floyd's death. The only problem is they said Floyd was shot and killed in police custody. Last week Josh Donaldson of the Yankees called Tim Anderson of the White Sox "Jackie". Anderson thought is was a racist comment. So did MLB who suspended Donaldson for one game. The Golden State Warriors are moving on to the NBA Finals. The Dallas Mavericks are done for the year and that means no more Luka Doncic bitching to the refs all the time. Last night in Boston, another awful game between the Celtics and Heat. The game was basically over five minutes into the first quarter. It has not been a good month is the sports world when it comes to racism. Last weel Bronny James, Lebron's son, got lambasted by many for taking a white girl to the prom. The comments on social media were disgusting both towards he and his date. Then two weeks ago Draymond Green accused sports talk show icon Cristopher Russo of being racist. Draymond know considers himself as " The New Media". Let's all pray that doesn't become reality. This past weekend Josh Donaldson called White Sox Shortstop Tim Anderson Jackie. Donaldson claims it was a joke from a SI article in which Anderson referred to himself as 'today's Jackie Robinson". Yesterday Donaldson was suspended for one game by MLB. Also, over the weekend Nazem Kadri of the Colorado Avalanche ran into St. Louis goalie Jordan Binnington. Binnington injured his knee and is out for the rest of the series. Kadri who has a history of dirty plays is a Muslim of Lebanese descent. No penalty was called on the play and after reviewing the play the NHL said no discipline would be forthcoming. It is really unfortunate what is going on in St. Louis currently with the Blues and Avalanche series. On Saturday night the Avs Nazem Kadri collided with Blues goalie Jordan Binnington. Binnington hurt his knee and is out for the rest of the series. No penalty was called, and the league reviewed the play and determined no suspension, or fine was warranted. Kadri has a reputation as a dirty player and has been suspended in the past for dirty hits. Kadri is a founding member of the Hockey Diversity Alliance. an organization of current and former players seeking to eradicate racism from the game. Since the incident Kadri has received many threats and racist attacks. Kadri is a Muslim of Lebanese decent. Inside The NBA On TNT took their show outside before Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and it was not a good look. You had fans chanting vulgarities among other things. At one point before the show began Charles Barkley turned to the hecklers and said, "if you don't leave me alone, I'm going to come to your home and f***your mama." The PGA Championship begins tomorrow in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Defending champ Phil Mickelson won't be there to defends his title and has been incognito the past several months after his comments about Saudi Arabia regarding human rights among other things Phil's comments were in response to joining a new golf league sponsored by Sauda Arabia. PGA Tour players are divided regarding Phil not being on tour currently, but most want him to come out of hiding and address the issues. When will the day happen and will Phil's legacy be restored?
