There is no tomorrow for the Sacramento Kings. Tonight it's win or go home in Game 6 vs the Warriors. I've seen enough of Kevin Huerter in this series. Time for a change. Once again the race card is out in a full force this time by Jalen Rose against Phil Jackson. On today's episode I discuss the comments made by the former NBA player and coach Jackson on a recent podcast hosted by Rick Rubin. Jackson said he stopped watching the NBA in 2020 due to their political messaging. Even after the Bubble 2020, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver admitted the league went overboard with their messaging. That's not good enough for ESPN commentator Jalen Rose who called Jackson and insinuated that Jackson is a racist! How sad is that! So Rose has a different opinion than Jackson and that's fine, but because Rose doesn't agree with Jackson, he is now a racist? Former NBA player and coach Phil Jackson says he doesn't watch the NBA anymore. Appearing on iconic music producer Rick Rubin's podcast Jackson said people want to see sports as non-political. Jackson wants politics out of sports. I agree and so do many others. Unfortunately for Jackson he is now being labeled a racist by many including ESPN's Jalen Rose. Unbelieveable! The Kings were awful last night! It was arguably their worst performance of the season as they were blown out by the Warriors in Game 3. The NBA suspended Draymond Green for tomorrow's Game 3 of the Kings-Warriors series for stomping on Domantas Sabonis Monday night during the 4th quarter. Props for TNT's Charles Barkley for saying Green is taking the attention of the Kings excellent play out of the discussion. There is nothing like sports that brings people together. On today's episode I talk about the Kings and their fans and share some of my experiences of being a loyal fan. As I release today's episode the Kings are 48-32 and are the third seed in the Western Conference. Are they as good as their record indicates? I go over ever game of the season and what I found is there were very few "signature" wins. I thought their best game of the season was when they lost to the Bucks at home last month. I also talk about the Kings disparity between home and the road. That aspect of the season is very perplexing. Bottom line is the Kings are hosting a playoff game next weekend to begin the NBA post-season.
