Before Game 1 of the Finals, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said the league has additional information regarding the status of Ja Morant, but is going to wait to make an announcement on his status until after the finals. Silver said he doesn't want the news taking away from the Finals. I can't argue with that, but it seems like the hammer is coming down on the troubled Memphis point guard.
