Ministry Update: After reevaluating the Atlanta gatherings, I realized that hosting them monthly was diluting their impact. Reflecting on how effective quarterly gatherings were before the pandemic, I felt led to return to that format. Moving forward, we will host gatherings once a quarter, each with a specific theme led by the Holy Spirit. The next gathering in June will focus on ministry callings, followed by another in August or September, likely centered on business. These gatherings are not just church services but deep, immersive experiences designed for spiritual impartation. By scaling back the frequency, we can restore their original purpose and create more meaningful, focused encounters with God. Some stop attending church because they struggle to get along with others, or they claim they prefer friendships with non-believers, believing that fellow Christians are hypocritical. When this occurs, because we are believers in Jesus, Jesus' blood has cleansed us from sin, so God has forgiven us. However, it can be hard to forgive ourselves. Because we have received God's infinite mercy, we are required to extend the same grace of forgiveness to others. If we fail to do so, God will remove His forgiveness, highlighting that the sins He has pardoned us for far outweigh any wrongdoing we may endure from others. Pastor Chat: If you're feeling disappointed that your husband isn't going to church or pursuing the things of God with you, consider a different approach. As a pastor, I value church attendance, but for the next month, try telling your husband that instead of going to church on Sunday, you want to spend that time together, connecting as a couple. This will show him that you care about him and that church will not come between your relationship. The Bible teaches that wives can influence their husbands through their actions, so by prioritizing time with him for a season, you are taking a meaningful step toward drawing him closer to God. The scenario behind this question is that this person and their cousin are starting a Christian radio station. They want to purchase a radio commercial in an effort to learn about the process of selling radio air time and commercials. However, they don't want to reveal to the radio station the real reason behind the purchase of the commercial. They are wondering whether, as Christians, can they be secret shoppers (in a sense), or should they be transparent about their motives? Pastor Chat: To increase the chances of marriage, date one person at a time. Dating multiple people can lead to decision fatigue, making it harder to commit—similar to how too many choices in a store can prevent a buyer from making a decision. Instead, go on a first date, and if it goes well, ask for a one-month exclusive commitment. Use that time to date intentionally and ask important questions. At the end of the month, decide whether to continue or move on. Limiting choices helps in making a clear, committed decision about a future spouse. Daily Study: If you are like me, you want to know how everything works. And when they don't work, you want to know why.
