A Prayer for New Success for a New Year

Happy New Year, CFE! I hope this year is starting off wonderfully for you all. I'm dropping this podcast on New Year's Day, 2025, to wish you a Happy New Year and to kick things off with a prayer for new success. Before we get to the prayer, I want to share a few thoughts about the change of a year. There's nothing magical about the transition into a new year. The calendar year is simply a marker that separates seasons. However, the plans and promises of God are not bound by time. If there are things you didn't accomplish in 2024, that doesn't mean you have to stop pursuing them just because the year has changed. If you believed for something in 2024 and it didn't happen, that doesn't mean you should stop believing for it in 2025. The calendar year may change, but the things God has placed in your heart and the promises He's given you are timeless. If you feel like you didn't accomplish everything you wanted in 2024, don't be discouraged. Keep moving forward. Carry those goals into January, February, and March—however long it takes to fulfill the things you believe God has called you to do. Don't let the transition into a new year bring you down. If you didn't achieve everything you thought you should have, or if you didn't receive all that you hoped for, it's okay. With that in mind, let me share a prayer over us—a prayer that you can also speak over yourself: **Lord, I thank You that You are the one who crowns CFE this year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. I declare that this new year is filled with new opportunities for CFE, breakthroughs, and success. You are leading us forward. We trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways, we acknowledge You, and we know You are making our paths straight this year. We commit our plans to You and believe that You will establish them according to Your will. CFE and all its members are like trees planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in their season. Our leaves do not wither, and whatever we do prospers this year. As we seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, we know all these things will be added to us as well. We walk in faith, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine, according to Your power at work within us. We declare that this year is a year of success, favor, and divine alignment because You are working all things together for our good. Thank You, Lord, for the new success You have planned for us in this new year. We receive it with gratitude and faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.** Let's receive that prayer as a declaration for 2025 and step into this year with faith and expectation for new success. I'll see you this Sunday as I share the word of the year for CFE. Be blessed, and I'll talk to you soon. Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

How to leave a church honorably

Daily Study: Research shows that two to three million churchgoers leave their church every year. Most leave because of burn out or because they were hurt in someway by their church. With these statistics in mind, in today's Study, I am addressing the reality that so many Christians are contemplating leaving a church. It's time to let go!

Sunday Service: As we prepare for 2025, I feel led to revisit the message of letting things go. I first shared this message when I informed my local church that it was time for our ministry to come to an end, and I recently delivered it to a congregation in Atlanta. While some of you may have listened to the recording, as a global church family, we haven't yet had the chance to discuss it together. So, let's talk about it. Is it time to let go of certain things in your life and business that are not working? Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

Confessions, Romans, and Partnerships—Oh My!

Ministry Updates and Partnership Invitation Hi CFE! I hope you're having a great week. I wanted to pop in to share some updates about Church for Entrepreneurs (CFE) and also ask you to pray about partnering with us. One thing I've been thinking about lately is how we approach partnership. Usually, at the end of every podcast episode, I make a request for people to partner with the ministry. However, I've been feeling in my spirit that this might be too frequent, and I don't want to overwhelm our listeners. So, moving forward, when you listen to a podcast episode, it will focus solely on the message—unless there's a special reason to include a partnership mention. Instead, I'm planning to separate partnership requests into a different format. For example, I might do a dedicated podcast like this one once a week or mention it at the end of live events, such as a Sunday service or Open Forum. I just want you to know that partnerships are how we operate, but I want to approach this in a way that feels thoughtful and balanced. Now, let me update you on what's going on. I've just finished uploading the next seven days of Daily Studies and Daily Confessions to the podcast feed and online community. The Daily Studies are actually posted five days a week—so technically they could be called "Weekday Studies," but "Daily Studies" sounds better! However, the Daily Confessions are truly daily, available seven days a week. The way I prepare this content is by planning week by week. Many of the Daily Studies are based on messages I've preached before. I go through the archives to bring those teachings back to the surface, interspersed with new messages and series as God leads me. Right now, we're working through the Book of Romans, currently in Chapter 13. We've got about three chapters to go, and I'm hoping to wrap this up in the next couple of months since we're taking it slowly, line by line. As I record this, it's 11:43 PM Eastern Time, so you'll probably hear it when you wake up tomorrow. These updates are meant to be short and focused, giving you a sense of what's happening in the ministry while also inviting you to pray about partnering with Church for Entrepreneurs. Partnership is vital for what we do. When you partner with us, you provide us with the time and resources needed to operate this ministry. Our mission is to help believers grow spiritually so they can fulfill the calling God has placed on their hearts. I truly believe that spiritual growth is the key to unlocking the success God has planned for you—not just techniques or strategies. While those are important, true success in God's way comes from understanding and following His ways. As the Bible says, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." By focusing on your spiritual growth, we're helping you seek God first. As you do that, you'll unlock the success God has for you in your entrepreneurial calling—whether that's in business, ministry, good works, or another area He's placed on your heart. Thanks for listening to this update and for considering partnering with us. Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

The mark of the beast is an economic system

Daily Study Most Christians are confused about what is the "mark of the beast." However, God never intended for this to be a confusing or misunderstood topic, because it has great impact on believers, especially believers in the marketplace. This is because the mark of the beast is an economic system that's designed to force believers to conform to worldly non-Christ-like norms and practices. Jesus had a very unassuming birth

Daily Study: Luke 2:1-7 NLT [1] At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. [2] (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) [3] All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. [4] And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David's ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. [5] He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child. [6] And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. [7] She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them. Jesus was a gift to us

Daily Study: John 3:16-19 NLT [16] "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. [17] God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. [18] "There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. [19] And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. Understanding Biblical Prosperity

Sunday Service: Many view prosperity as something to be achieved, but in the faith, it is a state of being. You don't work to achieve prosperity; it is a byproduct of who you are. It is foolish for an apple seed to desire becoming an apple. It becomes an apple merely through its state of being and maturing. The greatest threat to the apple's growth process is bacteria infecting the inside causing it to rot, to stop its growth. Biblical prosperity is as natural to faith, as an apple seed is as natural to becoming an apple. Use Times of Lack to Build Trust in God for Prosperity

Sunday Service: Paul's statement, "Not that I was ever in need," reminds believers that need is an illusion because God supplies all our needs. Seasons of lack teach us to trust God daily, focus on His provision, and avoid worrying about tomorrow. Lack serves as a training ground to strengthen our faith, shift our mindset from scarcity to abundance, and recognize God as our true source. By trusting Him each day, resisting worry, and giving generously, we prepare to move into prosperity. Like the Israelites with daily manna, in our season of lack, God provides just enough for each moment to train us. Passing this test of trust leads us from lack to abundance. Prosperity Requires Trusting God Over Money

Sunday Service: Our trust is either in God or in money. Just as the body signals pain when something is wrong, our emotions signal when we have a spiritual issue. Constant worry about provision reveals that our trust is in money, not God. This worry often leads to an obsession with storing up money for the future, showing that money has become our master. We cannot receive God's prosperity if our trust is not fully in Him. Jesus teaches that giving to those in need trains us to rely on God. When we train ourselves to trust God over money, we open the door to experience prosperity on earth, knowing that God is the true source of all provision.
