It may be too late for that unfinished assignment
Daily Study: Many believers with entrepreneurial callings have a list of unfinished instructions from God. It is tempting to go back and try to finish the list; however, the season for those particular assignments may have passed. God is a right now God. Instead of going backward, find out what God is asking you to do now because the anointing on your unfinished assignments might be gone. When things get tough get reconfirmation
Daily Study: As you work on the vision God has given you, you will periodically experience some tough situations that may cause you to wonder if God has called you to do something else. In those times, it is important to get reconfirmation from God about your vision. It is not a sin to ask again. In fact, by getting reconfirmation, you will strengthen your faith and acquire the needed motivation to push on to victory. Most likely God will train you through small wins
Daily Study: It is likely that the vision God has given you is large and will impact the lives of many people. Therefore, God will probably train you through small victories before you step into the primary calling He has given you. This is similar to being a baby. We must learn to crawl before we walk or run. If we rush straight at the vision God has given us, we won't have the necessary skills (which are developed through training in smaller battles) to win. Prosperity is not a reward for good behavior
Growth Lab: There is an idea that we need to eradicate from our thought processes so we can experience God's best in our lives. It is the idea that prosperity is a reward for good behavior. The truth is that prosperity is part of our salvation benefits package, which is based on God's love for us, not our behavior. How close is your dream
Daily Study: Let's have some real talk. The entrepreneurial calling God has placed in your heart will likely take time to come to fruition, which means you may be tempted to quit because it feels like it's taking too long. You might even feel like God has forgotten about you, but rest assured, He hasn't. Everyone's dreams take time to manifest, and there are no magic pills or secret techniques to speed up the process. The key skills you need are simply trusting in God and having patience. Each day brings you closer, and after persistence and faithfulness, you will find yourself just one day away from seeing your dream come to life. Do it again with the anointing
Daily Study: Just because you started a particular business or ministry that failed, doesn't mean you should not try it again. Failure comes mainly because we lack the anointing. Therefore, if God is speaking to your heart to go back and restart a failed project, then this time it will work because you will be doing it again with the anointing.
Moonshot businesses have high rewards but a low success rate
Open Forum: Pastor Amos shared his thoughts on the concept of "moonshot businesses" and the importance of understanding the nature of one's business venture. Attendees also discussed various business ideas. The conversation ended with discussions on decision-making processes, personal growth, and the importance of self-reflection and honesty in achieving personal and professional goals. Don't limit your calling based on Jesus' calling
Daily Study: God gave Jesus a unique and powerful calling during His time on earth. While His calling sets the foundation for all of ours, your calling will likely differ from His. You can learn from studying everything Jesus did, but you may not find your exact calling in His actions on earth. Therefore, don't limit your calling simply because you didn't see Jesus do it. Go forward and don't hold back
Daily Study: Yes, wait on God for direction when you are unsure about your path. However, if God has given you direction, go forward and don't hold back on your calling. Too many believers are tiptoeing down the road of their calling because they are afraid of making a mistake, or fearful they are being greedy. This timidness hinders or slows down success and reduces the magnitude of success. Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connent with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com
Romans 11:1-24
Romans Series: In Romans 11:1-24, Paul explains that God has not rejected Israel despite their current unbelief; a remnant remains chosen by grace. Israel's rejection of the gospel has opened the door for Gentiles to be included in God's salvation plan. Using the metaphor of an olive tree, Paul illustrates how unbelieving Israelites were like branches broken off, while Gentiles were like wild branches grafted in. However, Paul warns the Gentiles not to become arrogant, as they rely on the root of Israel's covenant promises, and he assures that Israel can be grafted back in if they return in faith. Neither opened nor closed doors indicates the will of God for your life
Daily Study: Believers will often say, "If God wants me to go this way, then He will open a door of opportunity," or, "this door closed because God has something better for me." God can open and close doors of opportunity, but the state of the door (aka opportunity) doesn't indicate the will of God for your life. Watching doors open and close can mislead you and put you in a state of confusion. Listen to today's study to learn more about this concept. This is Prosperity
Growth Lab: Prosperity is a constant state of wealth, not occasionally having some money or mostly being able to meet your needs and desires. It is a condition where all your needs and desires are met, and you have more than enough to give to every good cause. In this message, learn more about prosperity and how the blessing brings you prosperity. A three stage process to go from idea to launch
As an entrepreneur, the Lord is constantly speaking to your spirit ideas to either start something new or take what you're currently doing to the next level. However, how do you hear these ideas from God and how do you take them from your from spirit to launching them in the marketplace? Learn a three stage process to go from idea to launch.
God will restore what it costs to get you back on track
When we mix God's will with our own, we are headed toward eventual failure. Unfortunately, it is very easy to taint God's will without even realizing it. However, when we do realize it, we need to get back on track, even if we've spent a lot of money going down a tainted path. Don't allow the fact that you spent money going in the wrong direction to cause you stress about changing directions, because God loves you so much that He will restore whatever you spent going down the wrong path. Leaders Have to Make Unpopular Decisions for the Benefit of Their Followers
Attendees discussed the importance of trusting in God's plan and not being influenced by external opinions, emphasizing the need for self-evaluation and reflection on life experiences to understand God's will. The group also highlighted the importance of making difficult decisions for the benefit of those they lead, along with the power of faith and trust in God's plan. Personal testimonies and praise reports were shared, including experiences of living in different countries, starting new jobs, and the success of a new book.
Say no to every great idea outside of our calling
As entrepreneurs, it is very tempting to see a need and start something to fill that need. We have no shortage of money-making ideas or desires to start new ministries to fix various societal ills. However, we need to exercise a lot of self-control in this area because great ideas can break our focus and cause us to fail at what God has truly called us to do. It may be hard, but we need to say no to every great idea outside of our calling.
"God Said" is the only credibility you need
Our society is obsessed with credibility and credentials. If you are a chef, they want to know what culinary school you went to. If you're a business coach, they want to know what successful business you have personally made a million dollars from. If you say you are starting a ministry, people want to know what theology school you got your ministry degree from. These questions are basically trying to judge or challenge your credibility. However, the only credibility you need is simply these two words: "God said." Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connent with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com
Another person's path to success is not your blueprint
Daily Study: In our guru culture of coaches and mentors, we are being programmed to follow other people's paths to success. This is tempting to our intellect and emotions because we believe that if somebody has made six or seven figures doing it a certain way, then we'll also be successful if we just follow their way. However, this rarely happens. If you look at the results of the guru's students, they rarely reach the same level of success as the guru. And of course the guru says that if you take action, you will make it just like me. Well, people are taking action, and it is still not working. The reason it is not working is because another person's path to success is not your blueprint from God. And by the way, this also applies to trying to follow the success of someone else's ministry. The Love of Money
Growth Lab: The love of money was introduced particularly in the context of ministry, where false teachers may exploit their roles for personal gain. Paul warns against the pursuit of wealth, highlighting that the love of money reflects discontentment and a lack of trust in God. Money itself is not evil, but the obsession with it becomes idolatry, leading people to serve money rather than God. True love, as described in the Bible, involves serving what or whom you love, which is why Jesus warned that one cannot serve both God and money. Worry over unmet needs fosters this misplaced trust in money. Instead, believers are encouraged to seek God first, trusting Him to provide and guide them in their financial decisions. Decisions are yours to make
We find ourselves feeling powerless because we don't realize who we are in Christ and that God has given us the power of decision. And with this power comes great responsibility, but it is our power to use. For example, many women in abusive marriages look to pastors and Bible teachers to answer the question, "Should I get a divorce or should I stay?" And many women get answers that they find unsatisfactory in either direction, and they are plunged into a feeling of powerlessness. Or maybe you are in a job that you hate, and you want to quit your job and start a business. But others are telling you to be responsible and not quit. Or perhaps you are called to the ministry, and your church leadership disagrees with you or doesn't notice your ministry call. Yes, seek counsel from a pastor and trusted advisors, but at the end of the day, the decision (right or wrong) in any area of your life is yours to make. Where do you fit in the Body of Christ
Everyone has a place in the Body of Christ. However, to know where you fit, you need to understand how the Body of Christ functions. In today's message, I present a parable (analogy) that paints a picture of the Body of Christ to help you see how it works.
Don't call an experiment thus saith the Lord
Open Forum: Attendees discussed the closure of the Atlanta congregation and shared personal experiences related to the Church for Entrepreneurs ministry. They explored challenges in transitioning from ministry to local church, emphasizing the importance of decision-making without emotional attachment. The meeting covered various topics, including CFE local chapters and the significance of aligning with God's guidance in leadership.
Your way causes unnecessary delays and collateral damage
Your way is any way that is planned and implemented without the counsel of God. Most times you have good intentions, because you are walking in God's calling for your life, so it seems like you are in God's will. However, no matter how great your intentions, your way can lead to unnecessary delays and collateral damage to your marriage, friendships, followers, finances, and/or health.
What to do in the meantime
God gave you a vision to be in your own business or ministry full time. However, in the meantime, what do you do until the vision fully manifests? Is it a lack of faith to do something else while you wait for manifestation? Or maybe you should use your faith to jump directly into the vision? In today's study, discover through the Word of God what you should be doing in the meantime.
I Closed Our Church in Atlanta Today
After nearly three years of starting and leading a local church in Atlanta, I made the difficult but necessary decision to close it. Today, I shared this decision with the congregation, and in this podcast, I'll walk you through the process I used to reach this point. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can offer you a framework for evaluating whether any of the assignments or projects you're working on might also need to come to a close this year. Confession for Saturday September 7, 2024
Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). I trust that You have good plans for my life, plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). I commit my ways to You, knowing that as I acknowledge You in all my ways, You will direct my paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). I believe that You are working in me, both to will and to act according to Your good purpose (Philippians 2:13). Today, I seek Your guidance and ask that You reveal Your perfect will for my life. I surrender my own desires and plans to You, and I am confident that Your will is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). Thank You, Lord, for giving me wisdom generously as I seek it, and for guiding me into all truth through Your Spirit (James 1:5, John 16:13). Today, I walk in faith, trusting that You are leading me every step of the way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Don't allow your vision to become your god
A tricky trap is allowing the vision God gave you to become your god. When this occurs, you become obsessed with the vision, which leads to stress and anxiousness. Also the vision becomes unsuccessful and destructive to your life. If you continue in this way, at some point, God will remove the anointing for the vision from you. Prosper from a place of contentment
Open Forum: Attendees discussed personal growth, the concept of prosperity, and the relationship between faith and entrepreneurship. They also explored various platforms for entrepreneurship and creator coaching, and shared personal experiences and challenges in navigating entrepreneurship. Lastly, they reviewed the theme for the year of supernatural growth, outlined a new schedule for open forum and growth lab sessions, and prayed for God's anointing and blessing of prosperity. Sickness and financial lack are a prison for your calling
It is not an accident that the moment you accept God's calling for your life that an unexpected sickness or a financial hardship comes your way. These things are attacks of Satan to imprison you in pain and lack to stop you from succeeding in your calling. Well, don't fall for this trick. Use your authority to knock down those prison walls and achieve your calling.
Just keep pressing until victory
As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Asking why is a waste of energy and time, and usually doesn't yield satisfactory answers. There is a peace in not focusing on the bad, but continually pressing toward good.
Your outward actions are useless when your heart motive is wrong
A trap that many entrepreneurs and ministers fall into is making their God-given vision their god, instead of the Lord being their God. This is a deceptive trap. All your outward actions may look godly and in line with the vision, but your heart motivation is no longer right. This is dangerous because outward actions are meaningless when your heart motive is wrong. Listen to today's study to explore this concept and learn how to avoid this trap and (if needed) turn your heart back toward God.
Three questions to answers to determine your calling
Have you ever wondered whether you are being called to a particular field, career, or business? If so, there are three questions you should ask yourself to determine if you are being called there. Do you have an interest in that area? Do you have a basic natural ability in that area? Are you motivated to increase your ability in that area? If you can answer yes to all three of these questions, then you are being called to that area. Listen to today's study to learn more about these three questions so can determine your calling from God. Romans 10
Paul explains the simplicity of salvation in contrast to the complex methods humans devise to be right with God. He longs for his fellow Israelites to be saved but laments that many won't be, while the Gentiles will reach God before them. Paul also outlines the straightforward two-step process of salvation: (1) believe in your heart and (2) confess with your mouth, urging us to preach the gospel so that others can be saved. Your delay may have changed your assignment from God
When God gives us an assignment, there is also a time frame associated with it. If you delay implementing the assignment, then you need to check with God to make sure He stills wants you to do it. How to hear the voice of God
Your calling involves numerous decisions, both small and large, each with its own consequences. That's why it's crucial to clearly hear the voice of God when making decisions. However, understanding how to hear God's voice can be difficult if you're unsure how to do so. In today's study, I'll be teaching you how to hear the voice of God.
Do This If Your Entrepreneurial Calling Seems on the Verge of Dying
In today's study, we delve into the moments when your entrepreneurial journey feels like it's hanging by a thread. Success of your vision is not based on the will of God
It's tempting to say that because our vision is God's will for our life, it will automatically be successful. A Culture of Prosperity
Today, I felt led by the Spirit that God wants me to cultivate a culture of prosperity among the members of Church for Entrepreneurs. This means that here in CFE, there is a tangible expectation that we will be prosperous in our calling and have numerous testimonies of prosperity. I believe He wants us to be examples of how God prospers His people when they follow Him.
Stretch your mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for you
Mary's faith to conceive Jesus is a great example for us of how to stretch our mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for us. When presented with the greatest calling of all time (giving birth to the messiah) instead of doubt, Mary stretched her mind beyond human understanding and simply asked – How shall this be. The "right look" is not required for leadership
To lead, you don't need to lose weight, dye your hair, change your eye color, or do anything else society finds attractive. Your ability to lead is not based on what's attractive to society, but the anointing that's on your life. This is critical to know because if you think (or even slightly think) your ability to lead is tied to looking like what society finds attractive, then you will fail. Daily Study | Trust in your God-given anointing to lead
Many Christians question their ability to lead their calling to success because they focus on their natural credentials and past track record. However, if God has called you to do it, He has anointed you to lead it. It's not about your natural ability; you will succeed in leading because of the leadership anointing that God has placed on you.
Daily Study | Don't allow temptation to cause you to give up on your vision
Everyone is tempted to give up on their vision at various times because even God-given ideas experience obstacles occasionally. However, the obstacles actually help strengthen us so we can be successful in our vision. Therefore, don't allow temptation to cause you to give up. Listen to today's message to dig into this idea.
