[33] In the future, when you check on the animals you have given me as my wages, you'll see that I have been honest. If you find in my flock any goats without speckles or spots, or any sheep that are not black, you will know that I have stolen them from you." [34] "All right," Laban replied. "It will be as you say." Genesis 30:35-36 NLT [35] But that very day Laban went out and removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, all the female goats that were speckled and spotted or had white patches, and all the black sheep. He placed them in the care of his own sons, [36] who took them a three-days' journey from where Jacob was. Meanwhile, Jacob stayed and cared for the rest of Laban's flock. Genesis 30:37-43 NLT [37] Then Jacob took some fresh branches from poplar, almond, and plane trees and peeled off strips of bark, making white streaks on them. [38] Then he placed these peeled branches in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink, for that was where they mated. [39] And when they mated in front of the white-streaked branches, they gave birth to young that were streaked, speckled, and spotted. [40] Jacob separated those lambs from Laban's flock. And at mating time he turned the flock to face Laban's animals that were streaked or black. This is how he built his own flock instead of increasing Laban's. [41] Whenever the stronger females were ready to mate, Jacob would place the peeled branches in the watering troughs in front of them. Then they would mate in front of the branches. [42] But he didn't do this with the weaker ones, so the weaker lambs belonged to Laban, and the stronger ones were Jacob's. [43] As a result, Jacob became very wealthy, with large flocks of sheep and goats, female and male servants, and many camels and donkeys.

There are moments in life when the assignment God gave you has come to an end. It's similar to when God instructed Elijah to go to the brook Cherith, where ravens would bring him meat, and he could drink from the brook. But eventually, the brook dried up, and it was time for him to move on and take a new direction. However, there are also times when we must remain steadfast in what God has instructed us to do and not drift away from the original instructions. If we stray too far from what God called us to do, we'll drift away from the anointing of success. God's anointing for your success lies in what He told you to do, not in what you decide to do on your own.

Have you ever wondered why God created us? Well, in today's study we dig into God's purpose for creating us.

Have you ever wondered why you can't hear the voice of God or what you can do to make it clearer in your life? I believe the parable that answers these questions is found in Mark 4:13-20. Jesus told us that this is the parable we need to understand, and if we don't understand it, we won't understand any other parables. This parable explains how God gets a word to us and what we need to do to hear and receive that word.

The Bible gives us some interesting instructions. It tells us to meditate on the written word so we can discover God's will for our life. But how does meditating on scripture give us "now" instructions to have success in our calling? Let's dig into this concept.

I am answering a question from one of our community members. They are wondering if I am teaching conflicting messages because, in one message, I say not to let lack make you do things outside of your vision, but in another message, I say that you may need side income to help fund the vision or provide for your home. These two messages have created confusion for them. Let me explain how these are not conflicting ideas and why it is okay to get a side project or side income when a vision is not making enough money to bridge the gap.

We're looking at Romans 9, which contains 33 verses. We're going to examine the entire chapter because Paul is making one point, and if we break it up too much, we might miss the overall picture. Paul is showing his heart for his Jewish brothers and sisters to be saved, but he explains why it's difficult for them to be saved, even though they were originally given God's laws.This is the core of chapter nine. There are many nuances in chapter nine that address whether God chooses to save some people and not others. Is He being unfair? There are some theological points in chapter nine that we could take out of context if we don't read the entire chapter as one document instead of looking at it on a verse-by-verse basis.

"How do I get out of debt?" Well, the common answer is to cut expenses and live below your means. However, that is only part of the solution. The other half (probably the most important half) of the solution is to make more money. When we look at the scripture, the answer God gave us to get out of debt is to make more money through the blessing on the works of hand.

We have been studying the love of money because this sin determines who is your god. Either the Lord is your God or money is your god. As we wrap up this topic (for now), I am discussing two ways the love of money will attempt to silence Christians from speaking against beliefs that are opposite God's ways.

When we think about the sin of the love of money, we are quick to say that's not me. We say this because we associate the love of money with extreme greed. However, the love of money has a spectrum of greed and, if we aren't careful, we can find ourselves committing the love of money sin.

Many Christians are giving and serving in church but still struggling in the area of prosperity. One of the major causes of this is a misunderstanding of how God brings prosperity to us. Prosperity is not promised because we give or serve, but it is promised through the blessing, which is activated through the work of our hands.

Most Christians equate honoring God with their money, with giving money to a church. This is good, but it is a limited understanding. Listen to today's study to learn about honoring God with your money.

These verses continue after Paul has convincingly argued that God is for us. If God is for us, who can be against us? He mentioned how the Holy Spirit prays for us, how God works all things for our good, and how Jesus pleads for us. With all these things happening for us, who can be against us? Who can accuse us of not being in right standing with God? Now, in Romans 8:35-39, Paul flips the question and considers what happens when bad things occur. Do we allow these bad things to make us question if God actually loves us?

I totally believe that God wants us to be financially prosperous. However, why would the creator of the universe care about our financial status? It seems like there would be more important things He would be concerned about. Well, I believe the answer is because of His "Goodness."

I have discovered through the Word of God that when we have a financial need, asking God for money is the wrong prayer. The reason is that God can only give us what He has. Money is a human creation, not a divine one. Therefore, we need to ask God for what He can give, which is wisdom that leads to making money.

God desires for you to live in total abundance, with nothing missing and nothing broken. Whatever you need or desire, God is big enough to take care of it—and He wants to take care of it. You might think your reality doesn't match this concept. Here's the thing: just because your current reality isn't abundant doesn't change God's desire for you to live in abundance. Listen to this message to increase your faith and walk in the total abundance God desires for you.

The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil, but what does that really mean? Does it mean we should give all our money away and live a very modest life? Does it mean we shouldn't devise plans to make money from our businesses? Well, we need to find out, because our understanding of this Bible concept affects our entire life and success in our calling. Listen to today's message and learn what really is the "love of money" sin.

God's desire is for you to have provision upfront before you start your calling; however, while fulfilling your calling, you may experience periods of lack. When lack occurs, it's not the time to quit but a time to allow God to lead you through the financial lack and guide you to provision.

Paul highlights several key blessings for believers: the Holy Spirit's intercession, God's orchestration of everything for our good, our inclusion in God's family, our righteous standing, and our glorification by God. Paul asks, "Who can be against us?" with the implied answer being "no one," referring specifically to Satan's opposition and accusations against us. Since God has given us His best in Jesus, He will not withhold anything good from us. This is illustrated by a father's willingness to pay a parking fee after spending a large amount on a Disney World trip for his children. Paul uses a courtroom analogy to emphasize that no charges or condemnations can stand against us because God has acquitted us, and Jesus pleads for us. Only God can bring charges, and only Jesus can condemn, but neither will. Satan is our accuser, and his accusations may influence us or others, but any conviction comes from our own heart, not God. Paul reassures us that if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart. He aims to strengthen our faith in Jesus' finished work, distinguishing between living rightly because we are saved and trying to live rightly to be saved.

Jesus teaches us in the New Testament that if you build your house on sand, it will fall when tested. In the case of a pastor's sexual sin, their churches and ministries are built on the sand of sexual sin, and when tested, they will fall as Jesus predicted. I am not a prophet, but God has given me the ability to discern the time we are in. Based on the patterns I see, I sense from the Holy Spirit that we are in a season of God exposing the secret sexual sins of pastors. These sins need to be exposed, even if it means the ministries they built fall. God is preparing His church to enter a new phase of glory on this earth, and we cannot do this with ministries built with unclean hands. This exposure is necessary for His church to grow. Take a few minutes to listen as I explore more about this and how we, as believers, should respond and pray in this season of exposure.

Some Christians believe that seeking and having money will keep you out of the Kingdom of God. They hold this belief, because in the Bible Jesus told a rich, young ruler to sell all he had and give it to poor, and then he could have eternal life. Based on this Bible passage, many have drawn a negative connection between having money and entering the Kingdom of God. So is this true? Well, in today's message, we examine this concept through the Word of God to make a determination.

For many believers, lack of financial stability is a hindrance to the calling God has given them. It is not a hindrance because God can't use us if we are in lack. However, in many cases, financial lack causes us to focus our time and creativity inwardly instead of outwardly. An inward-focused mind is in the wrong position to hear God for the fullness of the vision. Therefore, in the Bible, we see many times how God provides for people's personal financial needs first, and then they step into a major area of their vision.

According to the Bible, the love of money is the root of all evil. Many believe this sin only affects those who have money, but this is not true. Anyone, whether a believer or nonbeliever, can fall into the trap of loving money. Those pursuing their calling must be especially cautious not to succumb to this temptation.

God has given you a vision for a business, ministry, or nonprofit. However, cash is running low and the vision currently cannot pay your bills. What do you do? Well, don't quit the vision. Instead, look for an additional source of income.

A counterfeit is defined as anything made in the image of something valuable or important, with the intention to deceive or defraud. As this definition describes, money is a counterfeit of faith. Money is designed to look, feel and act like faith, but it is an imitation of faith designed to defraud you into trusting it instead of placing your faith and trust in God.

Jesus is God and also was born as a human with God as His Father, making Him the firstborn of God's new children. Accepting Jesus as Lord means being born again through the Spirit, becoming part of God's family and sharing Jesus' spiritual DNA. This allows us to function like Jesus on earth, healing, having our needs met, and accessing God directly. God's foreknowledge of our belief in Jesus means our lives and purposes were planned before creation. He forgives all our sins and shares His glory with us, honoring and unifying us as a family, which serves as a testament to the world that Jesus is Lord. This shared glory elevates our self-perception and mutual respect.

Worrying about your finances is unhealthy as it can lead to depression, stress, and illness. Financial worry is something you should avoid. To eliminate it, you need to address the root cause. Worrying indicates that money has become your master. To remove worry, you must change your master.

A lot of Christians struggle in business because they are hesitant to charge people for their products and services. However, if you are called to business, then you are called to sell, because without selling you have no business.

Christians disagree about whether Jesus was rich or poor. However, this question may be misguided because, although money was necessary for Jesus' life and ministry, it was personally irrelevant to him. Whenever money was needed, Jesus manifested it or its equivalent to meet his needs and those around him. Let's analyze how easily Jesus acquired money so you can apply the same principles in your life and business.

Are you broke? Meaning you don't have enough money for the things you need and desire. If so, DO NOT believe it because being broke is a futuristic mindset that projects today's resources onto tomorrow's needs. This mindset can destroy your faith for prosperity. Let's learn how to overcome the broke mindset.

Have you been serving God and sowing seeds, but you're still broke? If so, you aren't alone. Unfortunately, this is common in the body of Christ, but this is not God's will for you or others in this situation. In this study, let's address how to stop being broke and turn around your financial situation sooner than later.

Paul is teaching us that Holy Spirit aids us by praying on our behalf with sounds that we may not understand but are perfectly clear to God. This practice, known as praying in tongues, involves the Holy Spirit using our voice to communicate God's will. These prayers align perfectly with God's desires, ensuring they are effective and not misguided. Through the Holy Spirit's intercession, God works everything in our lives for our ultimate good, even if not everything is inherently good. This divine assistance is available to those who follow God's general commands and specific instructions for their unique calling. Praying in the spirit not only helps us navigate our lives but also strengthens our faith.

If we allow God to be the source of our prosperity and success, He will send us opportunities that we don't have to work to get. Our job is to recognize the opportunities when they come and simply receive them, instead of having to hustle and make something happen in our own power.

Most of us know from Proverbs 10:22 that the blessing of the Lord makes us rich. However, if we are honest and look around us, we will notice that many, if not most, Christians are struggling financially. So is the Bible wrong about us being prosperous? Let's find.

After focusing on their calling, the next most pressing issue for many single Christians is finding a spouse, an undertaking that can lead to depression and derail their calling. Therefore, let's explore how to actively find a spouse. Specifically, we will examine the concept of soul mates, the Bible's process for finding a spouse, and the roles of males and females in this process.

Dating around, trying to find the right person, is practicing divorce. Therefore, before you date them decide if they are the one.

We all have made mistakes in relationships, but we must forgive ourselves for the hurt we caused, so we can move forward.

Paul, who endured imprisonment, beatings, and ultimately martyrdom for preaching the Gospel, viewed his sufferings as insignificant compared to the future glory promised by God. As believers, we will face varying degrees of suffering, but this pales in comparison to the glory awaiting us. When Jesus returns, His glory will be revealed to us, and we will receive glorified bodies reflecting God's glory. Creation, affected by mankind's sin, eagerly awaits the revelation of God's children, which will bring relief and order. This anticipation is likened to a mother's labor pains, which, despite the intensity, culminate in joy with the birth of her child. The Holy Spirit within us is the firstfruits of this promise, giving us a glimpse of our future in Christ. As adopted children of God, we are joint heirs with Jesus, awaiting the fulfillment of our hope with patience and eager anticipation.

Success in business requires your creativity. However, if you have negative emotions towards your spouse, then you are killing your creativity. Let's explore this idea and learn steps to overcome negative emotions directed toward your spouse.

We have to navigate between caring for our families and spending time in our calling. In fact, both your calling and your family are from God, thus He wants both to succeed. The tension between family and calling is not a problem to balance or solve, but just part of our life.

One of our community members asked me to address a question about his marriage. He is considering divorcing his wife and is wondering if there is a right time or season for divorce.

Many married people are frustrated because their spouse doesn't believe in or support their vision. Why? Because God gave you the vision, not your spouse. Your faith has been activated to see something that doesn't exist yet, so you can believe the vision without seeing proof. However, your spouse may not have received a word from God about it, so they don't have a basis for faith yet, which means they will need to see some tangible proof. Let's explore the concept of asking God to provide your spouse with proof of success so your spouse can get on board with the vision.

After many years of marriage, most married couples become painfully aware that while they may love each other, there are days when they don't like each other. This sounds terrible, but it is normal in marriage. There will be days when a person's actions and habits make their spouse dislike them. However, we should not let such emotions linger for long. Let's discuss how to overcome the moments when you dislike your spouse.

These verses emphasizes that accepting Jesus as Savior brings the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live a fulfilling and spiritually enriched life aligned with God's will, transcending the limitations of the flesh which leads to death. The analogy of slavery is used to illustrate the bondage and fear associated with living by the flesh, a concept familiar to the audience of Ephesus, where slavery was prevalent. In contrast, living by the Spirit grants freedom and life, signifying that believers are not enslaved to sin but are children and heirs of God's kingdom. The Holy Spirit continually reassures believers of their identity as God's children, even when they falter, affirming their eternal inheritance and relationship with God.

God didn't design marriage to be depressing and unfulfilling. However, because marriage is between two imperfect people, marriage can easily become unfun and difficult. In today's Study, I am presenting a six-month process to turn a marriage from drudgery to happiness and excitement. This is important because there is a connection between having a happy marriage and succeeding in a God-given calling.

Have you been praying for success in business but it seems like your prayers are not being answered? If so and you're married, then check the state of your marriage. You see, the Word of God teaches us that if our marriages are in disrepair, that will hinder our prayers. This means that there is a direct connection between the success of your marriage and your business success.

As parents, we have to be mindful not to leave a vision for our children. God has called us to leave an inheritance for them, but not a vision. We can become so excited and passionate about our calling that we want our children to work with us and eventually take over from us. However, this is very dangerous because we could be hindering the calling God has given them by placing our calling on them.

The union of marriage allows a husband and wife to experience the fullest representation of God. A husband and wife are a mirror image of who God is.

Sex is an essential aspect of marriage. Unfortunately, many couples are not experiencing the fullness of sexual intimacy that God intends for them. Let's explore how to cultivate a pleasurable sex life with your spouse.

This passage describes that the mind is a crucial spiritual battleground, where negative thoughts are produced by your sin nature and godly thoughts are guided by the Holy Spirit. The outcome of this struggle determines who controls your actions and spiritual direction. Believers can achieve victory by allowing the Holy Spirit to fill their minds, while unbelievers cannot succeed in this battle unless they are born again. The sin nature generates feelings of lack and worry, leading you to act against God's will. In contrast, the Holy Spirit brings peace and fulfillment. The passage emphasizes the importance of choosing to follow God and warns that you must guard your mind against Satan's corruption so you can live a life that pleases God.
