Most of us know from Proverbs 10:22 that the blessing of the Lord makes us rich. However, if we are honest and look around us, we will notice that many, if not most, Christians are struggling financially. So is the Bible wrong about us being prosperous? Let's find.

After focusing on their calling, the next most pressing issue for many single Christians is finding a spouse, an undertaking that can lead to depression and derail their calling. Therefore, let's explore how to actively find a spouse. Specifically, we will examine the concept of soul mates, the Bible's process for finding a spouse, and the roles of males and females in this process.

Dating around, trying to find the right person, is practicing divorce. Therefore, before you date them decide if they are the one.

We all have made mistakes in relationships, but we must forgive ourselves for the hurt we caused, so we can move forward.

Paul, who endured imprisonment, beatings, and ultimately martyrdom for preaching the Gospel, viewed his sufferings as insignificant compared to the future glory promised by God. As believers, we will face varying degrees of suffering, but this pales in comparison to the glory awaiting us. When Jesus returns, His glory will be revealed to us, and we will receive glorified bodies reflecting God's glory. Creation, affected by mankind's sin, eagerly awaits the revelation of God's children, which will bring relief and order. This anticipation is likened to a mother's labor pains, which, despite the intensity, culminate in joy with the birth of her child. The Holy Spirit within us is the firstfruits of this promise, giving us a glimpse of our future in Christ. As adopted children of God, we are joint heirs with Jesus, awaiting the fulfillment of our hope with patience and eager anticipation.

Success in business requires your creativity. However, if you have negative emotions towards your spouse, then you are killing your creativity. Let's explore this idea and learn steps to overcome negative emotions directed toward your spouse.

We have to navigate between caring for our families and spending time in our calling. In fact, both your calling and your family are from God, thus He wants both to succeed. The tension between family and calling is not a problem to balance or solve, but just part of our life.

One of our community members asked me to address a question about his marriage. He is considering divorcing his wife and is wondering if there is a right time or season for divorce.

Many married people are frustrated because their spouse doesn't believe in or support their vision. Why? Because God gave you the vision, not your spouse. Your faith has been activated to see something that doesn't exist yet, so you can believe the vision without seeing proof. However, your spouse may not have received a word from God about it, so they don't have a basis for faith yet, which means they will need to see some tangible proof. Let's explore the concept of asking God to provide your spouse with proof of success so your spouse can get on board with the vision.

After many years of marriage, most married couples become painfully aware that while they may love each other, there are days when they don't like each other. This sounds terrible, but it is normal in marriage. There will be days when a person's actions and habits make their spouse dislike them. However, we should not let such emotions linger for long. Let's discuss how to overcome the moments when you dislike your spouse.

These verses emphasizes that accepting Jesus as Savior brings the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live a fulfilling and spiritually enriched life aligned with God's will, transcending the limitations of the flesh which leads to death. The analogy of slavery is used to illustrate the bondage and fear associated with living by the flesh, a concept familiar to the audience of Ephesus, where slavery was prevalent. In contrast, living by the Spirit grants freedom and life, signifying that believers are not enslaved to sin but are children and heirs of God's kingdom. The Holy Spirit continually reassures believers of their identity as God's children, even when they falter, affirming their eternal inheritance and relationship with God.

God didn't design marriage to be depressing and unfulfilling. However, because marriage is between two imperfect people, marriage can easily become unfun and difficult. In today's Study, I am presenting a six-month process to turn a marriage from drudgery to happiness and excitement. This is important because there is a connection between having a happy marriage and succeeding in a God-given calling.

Have you been praying for success in business but it seems like your prayers are not being answered? If so and you're married, then check the state of your marriage. You see, the Word of God teaches us that if our marriages are in disrepair, that will hinder our prayers. This means that there is a direct connection between the success of your marriage and your business success.

As parents, we have to be mindful not to leave a vision for our children. God has called us to leave an inheritance for them, but not a vision. We can become so excited and passionate about our calling that we want our children to work with us and eventually take over from us. However, this is very dangerous because we could be hindering the calling God has given them by placing our calling on them.

The union of marriage allows a husband and wife to experience the fullest representation of God. A husband and wife are a mirror image of who God is.

Sex is an essential aspect of marriage. Unfortunately, many couples are not experiencing the fullness of sexual intimacy that God intends for them. Let's explore how to cultivate a pleasurable sex life with your spouse.

This passage describes that the mind is a crucial spiritual battleground, where negative thoughts are produced by your sin nature and godly thoughts are guided by the Holy Spirit. The outcome of this struggle determines who controls your actions and spiritual direction. Believers can achieve victory by allowing the Holy Spirit to fill their minds, while unbelievers cannot succeed in this battle unless they are born again. The sin nature generates feelings of lack and worry, leading you to act against God's will. In contrast, the Holy Spirit brings peace and fulfillment. The passage emphasizes the importance of choosing to follow God and warns that you must guard your mind against Satan's corruption so you can live a life that pleases God.

Married couples hate to admit this, but it happens often and to many marriages. There are times when they don't love each other. Why is this the case? Let's explore this idea by first defining love from the Bible's perspective so that we can learn how to get back in love with our spouse.

In marriage, each spouse wants to be right. However, to create a successful marriage, we have to stop fighting for our right to be right. The goal of marriage is not to win an argument but to love each other; therefore, sometimes you need to intentionally lose an argument with your spouse.

Unfortunately, most people (secular and Christian) place their businesses before their spouses because they are driven to succeed in their work. However, the problem is that if your spouse is unfulfilled, God is not blessing your business, which means that your business success is not coming from God.

Submission in many households is a bad word, but it is a word God loves. We may be familiar with it in the context of wives submitting to their husbands. However, this word also applies to our businesses. If you are married (husband or wife), God expects us to submit our business to our spouse.

God shows us in the bible that the relationship between husband and wife is like the relationship between Jesus and the church. Since Jesus valued the church, we should value our spouses. If you desire a happy marriage, then you must value your spouse.

Romans 8:1-4 explores the profound theological insights provided by Paul, whose writings are considered divinely inspired and thus part of scripture. It reassures believers that in Christ, they are free from condemnation, highlighting that their sins are covered by Jesus' sacrifice, granting them spiritual immunity. There is also emphasis on the importance of living according to the Holy Spirit rather than following the sinful desires of the flesh, aligning one's life with God's will. It distinguishes between the law of sin and death, which arouses sinful desires and leads to death, and the law of the Spirit, which brings life and freedom through Christ. These passages further delve into Jesus' dual nature—fully human and divine—and how His perfect obedience and ultimate sacrifice fulfilled the law's requirements. This enables believers to aspire to live like Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, who now connects them directly to God.

Submission is a topic that has often been fought over between husbands and wives. However, when God created the concept of submission it was not supposed to be a weapon. Let's discover the proper context of submission, and learn why God asks wives to submit and husbands to lead.

Marriage is something that two people can only experience while on earth, because once we go to heaven we won't be married to our spouse anymore. So, there must be something very important God wants us to experience in marriage while we're here on this planet. Let's walk through scripture to discover what is the main purpose of marriage.

Your success is not based on hard work, your work ethic, or any other form of effort, but is based on receiving wisdom from God. God's wisdom provides you with the needed insight to succeed at your calling. Without His wisdom you are just spinning your wheel. Let's discover how to receive the wisdom you need for your calling.

They also explored the concept of salvation and the role of faith in personal and professional endeavors, emphasizing the need for discipline, prioritization, and commitment. Lastly, they delved into the concept of accountability in personal relationships, the importance of community, and the plans for a ministry school and additional fellowship opportunities.

God has given you a calling for which He desires you to succeed at. However, as much as God desires for you to succeed, Satan desires for you to fail. Therefore, Satan will send many attacks your way that are designed to stop your calling and/or are fashioned to tempt you to give up. A major way we can stop his attacks is to put on the full armor of God. This is practically done by living a life following the ways of God. While living "right" doesn't save us, it can offer protection against the attacks of Satan.

Many of us are trying to make success happen in our calling. However, God has not called us to make success happen, but to receive success in our calling. Let's learn three baby steps to receive success.

He reflects on his life before becoming a Christian, acknowledging that while the law is spiritual and good, the true issue lies within human nature, which is enslaved by sin. Paul describes this internal conflict, noting that even when he desires to do what is right, he often ends up doing what he hates, demonstrating the pervasive power of sin within him. Sin is like a parasite that controls his will. He highlights the misery of wanting to obey God's law but feeling powerless against his sinful nature. Paul emphasizes that this struggle persists in all humans, regardless of their knowledge of right and wrong, and underscores the importance of spiritual renewal. He concludes by pointing to Jesus Christ as the answer to overcoming sin's dominance.

We have all experienced this: You get an idea from God for the marketplace. Then, you implement that idea, but no one buys it, or you sell very little of it. What is the deal? Let's examine why God ideas fail to be successful from an internal perspective.

A God idea is insight from God to your spirit to implement a particular idea in the marketplace. These ideas are designed to be profitable, but many believers struggle to find success with them.

Have you ever experienced a major business or life failure? If so, you may have negative associations resulting from that experience, which are affecting your current decision-making. To move forward and succeed in your calling, we have to break those negative associations.

Pastor Amos introduced an experiment to shift the online Sunday service to an asynchronous format to better serve people in different time zones, while Celine shared her experience in building a chatbot and her concerns about disclosing her true background. Attendees also discussed the challenges of navigating toxic family dynamics, with an emphasis on the importance of forgiveness, self-care, and setting boundaries. Lastly, the group shared their personal experiences on reconciling faith with family expectations, prioritizing spiritual growth, and focusing on God's redemptive plan during times of grief.

Unfortunately, in society the way you look (physical characteristics, weight, height, gender, race, etc.) can be an advantage if you have the look society deems attractive. If you don't have the look society desires, then that can be a disadvantage in climbing the ladder of success. However, none of that matters to God because God's blessing for your success is not based on societal biases.

Many times, when we need business advice, we seek out the latest guru. Yes, human input is important. However, your best source of advice will always be the Holy Ghost. Without His guidance, your likelihood of success is quite low.

We tend to buy the latest business tools and seek out the newest marketing techniques in an attempt to create success in our business, ministry, or non-profit. However, we achieve success not because of the tools or techniques we acquire but because of the anointing.

The body of Christ is learning about Grace and how God accepts us just as we are. This means that "getting our lives right" is not a prerequisite for salvation or receiving God's love. However, if we desire to lead and succeed in our calling, then our lifestyle has to line up with how God designed us to live (aka living holy). In fact, living at a certain level of holiness is a prerequisite for leadership in the Kingdom of God. As leaders, we are held to a higher standard.

I am tackling the question of manifestation. In particular, why hasn't the manifestation of a promise of God happen for you yet? To explore the answer, God gave me an analogy of a "door" and a "Key." Take a listen and discover the major reason behind the lack of manifestation.

Success culture promotes the idea of starting your own venture so you can be your own boss. Essentially, this notion encourages an escape from submission. However, this motive can be dangerous because to succeed in starting a business, ministry, or non-profit, you need to be able to submit to others.

A misunderstanding of contentment is causing many of us to hold back the growth of our calling. Some think contentment means complacency. However, Biblical contentment means that during the ups and downs of pursuing your calling, you have an internal joy and peace that result in increased success in your calling.

As Christians, at times, we are timid in declaring why our business is great for the job to potential clients. We do this because of a false sense of humility. We don't want to sound as though we are bragging or come off as prideful. However, when you have the opportunity to pitch your business (or yourself) to a client, don't hold back. Boldly present your credentials and how you will solve the client's problems. If Jesus was bold to declare that He was the way to salvation, we should boldly declare that our business is the way to solve a client's problems.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God as His children. Jesus' calling was to save us, and He did it well, but to accomplish His calling, He had to "take up His cross." Similarly, Jesus instructs us to "take up our cross" and follow Him. But what does this really mean? To achieve the calling God has given us, taking up our cross represents going in a different direction than normal society and being considered foolish for following the dream God has given us. It is the complete surrender of our will to achieve the calling God gave us, until we leave this earth through death or rapture.

Many believers have a misconception about faith. They see faith as taking a giant leap into the unknown; however, real faith is simply following the steps God has laid out for us. This means that, nine times out of ten, your success in entrepreneurship will come in steps — not leaps — of faith.

The discussion also covered faith, prosperity, and work location flexibility, stressing the significance of trusting God's guidance. Additionally, they addressed gender roles in marriages, advocating for mutual support and adaptability. The episode concluded with reflections on balancing criticism and maintaining your calling.

On a regular basis, most of us face the "success dilemma," which involves choosing between following our calling from God or doing something else "we think" will make more money. I know I do. However, this success dilemma is a trick of Satan to get us out of the will of God. But the truth is, if we simply stick to our calling, we will be in God's will and achieve financial success.
