Growth Lab: We are exploring the deeper meaning of honoring God with our money and resources. Many Christians limit this concept to tithing to a church, but true honor extends beyond that—it involves supporting the works of God and His people. In the Old Testament, giving to God meant providing for the temple and the Levites, but today, God's temple is within believers. Honoring God with our resources means both giving to believers in need and supporting ministers who spiritually care for believers. Jesus and Paul both emphasized the principle of giving and receiving: whatever we give, we receive back in greater measure. This is not to earn God's blessing, as we are already blessed, but to activate the promise of increased resources, allowing us to give more and be a continuous blessing to others.
