Daily Study: Cessationists believe that the supernatural gifts of the Spirit ended with the completion of the Bible. They also argue that apostles and prophets were only needed to establish the early church. In contrast, continuationists maintain that the gifts of the Spirit remain active, and the Bible never indicates that only pastors, teachers, and evangelists would continue while prophets and apostles would cease. Let's explore both positions.
