God cares as much about your desire for a new car as a starving child's desire for food

Daily Study: As believers, we have to remove the limits on our mind to fully receive all of the things we desire from God. One limit we need to remove is the idea that God has a priority system ranking some desires above others. The reality is that the unlimited power of God does not prioritize needs or desires. He cares as much about your desire for a new car as a starving child's desire for food. In today's study, we examine this concept in detail to help you expand your thinking and increase your faith. Don't Put a Seat in the Spaceship and Other Interesting Discussions

Open Forum: Pastor Amos reflected on the past year since closing the CFE local church in Atlanta, realizing his focus should have been on building community groups rather than traditional structures, which has led to a plan to launch CFE community groups in multiple cities starting in September. He emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to God's blueprint, using biblical stories and parables to illustrate the dangers of deviating from divine instruction, and highlighted the need for discernment even when advice comes from religious authorities. Discussions with Bose and Deborah explored balancing trust in church leadership with personal spiritual guidance, the significance of genuine mentorship in non-denominational churches, and navigating leadership challenges through faith. Marital dynamics were examined, with Pastor Amos and others discussing biblical submission, reconciling disagreements, and overcoming negative patterns influenced by spiritual factors. Practical advice was also shared on handling a bee sting, and Pastor Amos introduced the "working genius" concept to enhance group functionality. He concluded with gratitude for participant contributions and a prayer for healing and strength. Jesus may have been about five two

Daily Study: I want to examine an interesting aspect of Jesus – He was probably really short. Most people envision Jesus as tall, very attractive, and commanding, based on Western standards. However, this was far from the case. I know that this topic seems to come out of left field, but it's important to see this about Jesus, because it will greatly increase our confidence in achieving the calling God has given us. In today's message, you will discover that success from God is not based on human characteristics, perceptions or birth privilege, but based on the anointing. Can you lose salvation?

Pastoral Chat: Salvation is a free gift from God received through faith in Jesus, but Scripture shows that it can be lost if a person willingly walks away from that faith. While believers may still sin, they do not continue in unrepentant sin as a lifestyle. True salvation is marked by ongoing faith and a heart that turns from wrongdoing. Jesus calls believers to remain faithful to the end, and Revelation warns that names can be removed from the Book of Life—indicating that some who were once saved can fall away. However, the fact that you're concerned about your salvation is a strong sign that your heart is still responsive to God. Revelation 2:1–7

Sunday Service: Revelation 2:1–7 is Jesus' message to the church in Ephesus, commending them for their hard work, perseverance, intolerance of evil, and discernment against false apostles. However, He rebukes them for abandoning their love for God and for one another. Jesus urges them to repent and return to the works they did at first, warning that if they do not, He will shut down their church. Yet, He also praises them for hating the practices of the Nicolaitans, which He also hates. The message concludes with a promise that those who overcome will be given the right to eat from the tree of life in the paradise of God. God can use a social privilege for his purposes

Daily Study: With God, all people are created equal and have the same value. However, society does not think this way. Society has evolved to esteem some physical characteristics and social standings as more valuable than others. For example, if you're the right color, the right height, or the right gender, then you may have an advantage over somebody who's doesn't have one of those characteristics or features. This isn't fair; however, God can use a social privilege for his purposes. So if you have a privilege, don't automatically push it away; instead, allow God to use it. Pursuing profits is both moral and noble

Daily Study: What holds most Christians in business back from maximal success is this nagging question in the back of their mind: Is pursuing money okay? This uncertainty has them charging less money than they should or wanting to give their products and services away for free. Due to worldly and churchly pressures, we are inundated with messages that say making money is bad, from Hollywood to the Pulpit. They see the pursuit of profit in business as a necessary evil at best, and at worst they see pursuing profit as taking from society and the poor. There are very few things that the world and the church agree on, and it seems like that they both have deemed pursuing profit as bad. However, this thought process will hold you back from fulfilling what God has called you to do in business. Entrepreneurship is the long game!

Pastoral Chat: Entrepreneurship is the long game, requiring patience, faith, and perseverance, much like the journeys of biblical figures such as Abraham, David, Joseph, and Jesus, who all experienced long periods of preparation before stepping into their callings. God operates on His own timeline, often moving slowly before bringing sudden breakthroughs, and this process applies to entrepreneurs pursuing their divine purpose. Though it can be frustrating to see slow progress, understanding that delayed success is part of God's design helps ease discouragement. The Sacred Call of Caregiving: Are You In or Are You Out?

Bible Discussion: Even though the Bible doesn't use the exact word "caregiver," it talks a lot about helping others. A caregiver is someone who takes care of people. They help with things like their body, mind, feelings, and even their spirit. This can be for people who are sick, elderly, a widow, have disabilities, etc. Being a caregiver is more than just normal everyday tasks. One day, all of us will have to decide. We might need to choose if we will: Be a caregiver Help a caregiver Let someone help us when we need it Or, choose to not help at all When that time comes, will you be ready to answer? Think on God's level to prosper

Daily Study: What holds us back from entrepreneurial success is natural thinking based on our limited resources. For example, God calls you to open up a daycare, but you only have one hundred dollars in the bank. Your natural thinking says, "I don't have enough to do it." However, God's thinking says you have enough money; you just need to use your faith to get more. For us to prosper, we must think on God's level.

Satan can't read our thoughts

Daily Study: Many believers give Satan too much power over them. They do this by contributing God-like attributes to him. For example, God can read our thoughts, so many assume Satan can as well. Leading People to Jesus

Getting someone saved is the Great Commission. Jesus told His disciples that we are to go into all the world, share the message about Him, make new disciples, and teach them His ways. It all starts with making someone a disciple. To make someone a disciple, you need to lead them through a salvation prayer, helping them believe in their heart what Jesus did on the cross for us and receive Him as Lord. That's how they're saved. It's not about the works they do or how good they are after salvation. It's about a sincere, heartfelt belief. However, salvation requires someone to explain what's happening. So before you lead them in the sinner's prayer, the first goal is to explain why they need salvation, what it means, and what happens after they receive Jesus into their heart. This training will be a little different from a typical session. I'm not going to give you a list of dos and don'ts. Instead, I want you to listen to a mock conversation where I explain salvation to someone and lead them through the process by the end of the conversation. Salvation usually happens through a conversation. It's not just about a moment like, "What if you died today?" It's about sharing, explaining, and giving your personal testimony. After listening, reflect on what stood out to you. How can you apply this in your own life? How can you stay alert for people who are open to hearing about the things of God? In addition to using the mock conversation, include your testimony. How did you come to salvation? The Bible tells us to always be ready to give a reason for the hope we have. Once someone accepts salvation, help them connect with a body of believers. You can invite them to join us at the Church for Entrepreneurs, or better yet, offer to meet regularly and continue teaching them. It's not just about making a disciple—it's about teaching them the ways of Jesus. Believing in Jesus is just the beginning. The next step is learning how to follow Him. I hope this training helps, and I'd love to hear how it works for you as you go out and minister to others. A conversation on embracing your calling, trusting God's timing, and pioneering new paths in ministry and entrepreneurship

Open Forum: Pastor Amos shares the evolution of Church for Entrepreneurs from a podcast to a global church home, announcing plans to launch niche-focused "growth labs," facilitate local community groups, and move the Ministry Accelerator program online. He addresses struggles with purpose, highlighting how many believers pursue financial gain over calling and often waver due to uncertainty. Pastor Amos reflects on his own journey of fully embracing his pastoral role, which led to increased clarity and growth, and emphasizes the need for patience and alignment with God's timing. The group discusses redefining ministry success, focusing on impact rather than numbers, and the unique spiritual challenges faced by kingdom-minded entrepreneurs. Pastor Amos also offers practical advice on creating short-form video content and concludes the session with a discussion on availability in ministry and a closing prayer centered on staying committed to God's path.
