Daily Study: What holds most Christians in business back from maximal success is this nagging question in the back of their mind: Is pursuing money okay? This uncertainty has them charging less money than they should or wanting to give their products and services away for free. Due to worldly and churchly pressures, we are inundated with messages that say making money is bad, from Hollywood to the Pulpit. They see the pursuit of profit in business as a necessary evil at best, and at worst they see pursuing profit as taking from society and the poor. There are very few things that the world and the church agree on, and it seems like that they both have deemed pursuing profit as bad. Bible Discussion: Even though the Bible doesn't use the exact word "caregiver," it talks a lot about helping others. A caregiver is someone who takes care of people. They help with things like their body, mind, feelings, and even their spirit. This can be for people who are sick, elderly, a widow, have disabilities, etc. Being a caregiver is more than just normal everyday tasks. One day, all of us will have to decide. We might need to choose if we will: Be a caregiver Help a caregiver Let someone help us when we need it Or, choose to not help at all When that time comes, will you be ready to answer? Daily Study: What holds us back from entrepreneurial success is natural thinking based on our limited resources. For example, God calls you to open up a daycare, but you only have one hundred dollars in the bank. Your natural thinking says, "I don't have enough to do it." However, God's thinking says you have enough money; you just need to use your faith to get more. For us to prosper, we must think on God's level.

Daily Study: Many believers give Satan too much power over them. They do this by contributing God-like attributes to him. For example, God can read our thoughts, so many assume Satan can as well. However, he is a fallen angel, not God. Therefore, Satan can't read our thoughts and bring the fears in our thoughts to pass. This revelation brings peace, so we can process and work through fearful thoughts without being afraid that Satan knows what we are thinking and can use that against us. Daily Study: From interacting with negative people and having negative experiences, our minds are filled with limiting thoughts. Thoughts like "People like us don't do that," "You don't have the money for that," "You'll never achieve that goal," etc. Those thoughts must be rooted out of our minds if we are to achieve all God has for us to do. Daily Study: If we desire to receive God's blessings, then we must let go of our preconceived thoughts of how God is going to do it. Daily Study: The results we reap are a direct product of the thoughts we think. Our minds are the engines that drive our success; therefore, we have to intentionally program how we think. If we allow worldly thinking to program our minds, then we will reap success mired with sorrows and pain. If our minds have a mixture of worldly and godly programming, then we will be unsuccessful and frustrated. However, if we program our minds to think like God, then we will have success without the hustle and sorrows. Daily Study: If God has called you to be an entrepreneur, the first thing you need to do is change your mindset. The mindset of an entrepreneur is very different from that of an employee. If your mind is not renewed, you will struggle in your calling. Therefore, many entrepreneurs (though not all) must go through a personal wilderness experience—one of lack—for the purpose of mindset renewal, so they can achieve all God has planned for them. Daily Study: Fear is contagious among non-believers because they don't have the antibodies to fight it, which is hope. Getting someone saved is the Great Commission. Jesus told His disciples that we are to go into all the world, share the message about Him, make new disciples, and teach them His ways. It all starts with making someone a disciple. To make someone a disciple, you need to lead them through a salvation prayer, helping them believe in their heart what Jesus did on the cross for us and receive Him as Lord. That's how they're saved. It's not about the works they do or how good they are after salvation. It's about a sincere, heartfelt belief. However, salvation requires someone to explain what's happening. So before you lead them in the sinner's prayer, the first goal is to explain why they need salvation, what it means, and what happens after they receive Jesus into their heart. This training will be a little different from a typical session. I'm not going to give you a list of dos and don'ts. Instead, I want you to listen to a mock conversation where I explain salvation to someone and lead them through the process by the end of the conversation. Salvation usually happens through a conversation. It's not just about a moment like, "What if you died today?" It's about sharing, explaining, and giving your personal testimony. After listening, reflect on what stood out to you. How can you apply this in your own life? How can you stay alert for people who are open to hearing about the things of God? In addition to using the mock conversation, include your testimony. How did you come to salvation? The Bible tells us to always be ready to give a reason for the hope we have. Once someone accepts salvation, help them connect with a body of believers. You can invite them to join us at the Church for Entrepreneurs, or better yet, offer to meet regularly and continue teaching them. It's not just about making a disciple—it's about teaching them the ways of Jesus. Believing in Jesus is just the beginning. The next step is learning how to follow Him.
