Bloodshot is a very standard Vin Diesel action film. This month we are celebrating the amazing achievements in science. We call it, DAMNIT WYPIPO MONTH! In our first movie, we dive into Splice. A special little film about making an abomination but caring for it until it inevitably rapes you. ...yep.

The Hunt is the latest film from Blumhouse and is based off the short story, "The Most Dangerous Game". We've seen this type of story play out before but what this film does differently is that it adds the angle of poking fun at the Elite hunters(who are very liberal people who act very PC across the board) and "Deplorables"(who are folks that the elite feel are lesser than them in society and are being hunted). The trailers for this film came off like the typical sports movie we've seen before. While The Way Back has parts of things we've seen in sports movies before, much like in Warrior, director Gavin O'Connor keeps the emphasis on the emotional journey that Affleck's character is going through and its not the typical one that you think it ends up being. Pixar has been in coasting mode for quite awhile and thats not necessarily a bad thing. Onward is the typical type of road trip film featuring two main characters. What makes this movie different is the world that the film inhabits. Its a world that was formerly all about magic but because of technology the world stopped caring about magic. Chris Pratt and Tom Holland do a great job playing brothers trying to reconnect with there dad and the supporting cast including Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis Dreyfus are great for the respective characters. After Universal had to shelve this film after the failed attempt at doing a Dark Universe, Blumhouse came in and decided to revamp the idea and what we get ends up being a very damn good psychological thriller film. Elizabeth Moss does a phenomenal job of playing a woman being gaslit by an invisible force and her supporting cast works well with Aldis Hodge and Storm Reid. Vietnam was a bitch! The 60's and 70's was a bitch! Bank Heist is a bitch! Everything is a bitch! We chose a very depressing but very well-acted and directed movie. It's iconic but it is also not as loved as many think it is. So we decided to talk about this Hughes Brothers classic.

Happy Valentine's Day! This year it's about long term decisions and learning to let go. Nah! We bitter AF in here! Dee and Cj have a deeper conversation about Tyler Perry and we have fun with the movie.

You could say it was low expectations given the initial rollout of the first trailer but the Sonic the Hedgehog movie ends up being really good. The film has a very straightforward plot. Nothing convoluted and its simplicity is why everything in this film works from the buddy relationship between James Marsden's Tom and Sonic even to Jim Carrey's portrayal of Robotnik. The human characters don't overshadow Sonic and they work as support for him ultimately. Birds of Prey ends up being an aight film. More so a Harley Quinn film with the Birds of Prey playing second fiddle, the second half of the film ends up making up for the slow first half set up. Margot is clearly having fun as Harley but its really the trio of Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya that you end up wanting to see more of. Guy Ritchie can do these types of films in his sleep so it's not surprising that The Gentleman is an excellent film top to bottom. A simple story with the usual Guy Ritchie flair of dramatics and some action as well. The day has finally come for 3BG to talk about the Grand Tour. Ugh, blow me...I'm sorry folks but we didn't want to talk about Dragonball GT. Akira Toriyama was happy to get the check from Toei but wasn't a fan of how they used his creation. But we had to do this, we needed to move on to doing the Dragonball series and later on Dragonball Super. Which btw, DBS pretty much erases a lot of what GT was trying to do. And in some cases, it did the same and did better. So as you can see, we're gonna give this show a fair shot.....nah.
