The Cannon Group gave us the action thriller The Delta Force. Chuck Norris fans say this movie is awesome. Is it? Nah, but it's still pretty damn good. It takes its time but there's a payoff. Happy 4th!!!

Fast 9 ends up being a glorious mess of a film mainly due to it leaning heavily on the family melodrama and having characters like Roman point out the insanity of the series up to this point in a way that takes away the charm of the films overall. This movie ends up being like Expendables 3 where it misses the point in why the audience loves the film series in the first place. 3BG rating: 6 out of 10

The people who gave you Naked Gun and Airplane gave us another banger. Hot Shots! A parody of Top Gun and late 80s military movies starring Charlie Sheen. One of the biggest pieces of American Anime culture is Ninja Scroll. While it wasn't popular in its home country of Japan, American audiences saw this as true cinema. The animation is stunning, the voice acting is perfect, the story is memorable and the action is legendary. It would be our pleasure to review this classic that made all three of us anime fans.

This film is a passion project from Eddie Murphy top to bottom and thats not a bad thing. The movie is like a high school reunion in that you're there for the nostalgia and seeing what everyone is up to and that is why the movie works. It's a tale we all hear many many times. Fatale is a bad movie but one nice enjoyable dumb movie. Fred Hampton was a socialist revolutionary who led the Illinois chapter of the Black Panthers which painted a big target on his back by the the FBI. This film gives us a general idea of who Fred Hampton was from the perspective of William O'Neal who was an FBI informant sent to infiltrate the Black Panthers. They don't paint William in any positive light which further makes the movie work overall in showing the tragedy that happens. The word of today's podcast is "potential". In a movie like Gotti you expect it to give you John Gotti and a robust story about the big moments in his life.
