The War With Grandpa is a throwback to the slapstick family films from the early 2000's and given that this is a movie directed by Tim Hill, it makes perfect sense why the film flows the way it does. Despite a cast of some top veteran talent, the overall movie is just a steady stream of slapstick, silly scenes with a bare bones plot that really never comes together like most movies of this genre do. Overall the movie ain't bad but it ain't over the moon good either. 3BG rating: 5 out of 10

Antebellum is a movie that the trailers did a good job in not exposing any of what the story is truly about. This helps big time going into the film because from jump you're in a mystery following alongside Janelle Monae's character Veronica. Unhinged is a throwback movie along the lines of films like The Hitcher. Russell Crowe bar none is the best thing about this simple movie which to its credit gets to the point real quick with its plot. Is this film ridiculous? Yes...Its it good? If you've watched MMPR Season 2, that enhances the watch of Dairanger if only because of how the show uses the monsters in better inventive ways than what MMPR did. 7500 is a movie that starts out with an interesting premise and idea that ends up fizzling out in predictable fashion by the end of the film.
