Reading Numbers 18 for Tuesday, August 1st. God commands the priests and Levites to present offerings in a certain way, and that these offerings be given with only the first and best portions devoted to God.

Reading Acts 11 for Monday, July 31st. Peter explained his actions to the circumcised believers in Jerusalem.

Reading Acts 10 for Friday, July 28th. God shows Peter in a vision that Gentiles are worth visiting, and that he needs to share the message of the gospel with them. God also tells Cornelius with an angel that he needs to send for Peter to come over.

Reading Acts 9 for Thursday, July 27th. Saul, an enemy of the way, is confronted and blinded by Jesus, then is healed of blindness three days later. He is then sent to preach boldly and eventually suffer for Jesus Christ. 

Reading Acts 8 for Wednesday, July 26th. Simon thought he could buy the apostolic power of the Holy Spirit, but he was wrong. 

Reading Acts 7 for Tuesday, July 25th. Stephen gives a speech, and then is stoned by friends of Saul. 

Reading Acts 6 for Monday, July 24th. The apostles get back to prayer and the word, after delegating food distribution operations and management to seven, including Stephen, who was falsely accused of crimes.

Reading Numbers 17 for Saturday, July 22nd. God uses a miraculous budding staff to show that He only chose Aaron and not the other 11 tribes of Israel to come before Him as a priest.

Reading Numbers 16 for Friday, July 21st. It did not go well for those who chose to rise up against the authority of Moses, Aaron, and God. Only those who were successfully atoned for survived.

Reading Numbers 15 for Thursday, July 20th. Sacrifices are detailed for the unintentional sins, but defiant sin causes the sinner to be thrown out. The first sabbath breaker is sentenced to death by God, and God instructs His people to attach tassels to their clothes with a blue cord to remember to obey God.

Reading Numbers 14 for Wednesday, July 19th. The Israelites complained a lot, and God decided to wipe them out. Moses prayed for mercy, God decided instead to let them die in the desert naturally over the course of forty years.

Reading Numbers 13 for Tuesday, July 18th. 12 men from the Israelite tribes explore Canaan and bring both bad news and good news.

Reading Numbers 12 for Monday, July 17th. Miriam and Aaron are called out by God for their self promotion at humble Moses' expense, and Miriam gets a week of leprosy before being healed and restored.

Reading Numbers 11 for Saturday, July 15th. God burns up some complainers, gives his spirit to 70 elders to help Moses not to be overwhelmed with the people, and strikes some ungrateful seekers of other food with a plague. 

Reading Numbers 10 for Friday, July 14th. Moses invited his father-in-law to come with the Israelites, even though he was a Midianite. 

Reading Numbers 9 for Thursday, July 13th. God showed the Israelites when they should camp and when they should go out. He explained to Moses that it was only OK to not observe the Passover at the appointed m time for those who were unclean or if they were traveling. Reading Numbers 7 for Tuesday, July 11th. 12 sets of matching offerings and sacrifices were presented and then Moses spoke with God.

Reading Numbers 3 for Thursday, July 6th. The Levites take the place of the first born sons after they have been redeemed. 

Reading Numbers 2 for Wednesday, July 5th. The Israelites were asked to camp according to their tribes and families under each of their standards. The Levites, of course, were not counted – as the Lord directed Moses.

Reading Leviticus 27 for Monday, July 3rd. The process and exchange system is established for the redemption of animals, people, and land that has been devoted to God and then requested back.
