Reading Leviticus 7 for Saturday, June 3rd. Instructions are given on how to handle the sacrifices, what is OK to eat, what is not OK to eat, who can eat it, who can’t eat it, and details about the special cuts of meat that are to be given only to Aaron and his sons.

Reading Leviticus 6 for Friday, June 2nd. Details are given about the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the sin offering. Certain individuals are to present them, how they are to be administered, and who can eat the leftovers.

Reading Leviticus 5 for Thursday, June 1st. Sin and Guilt offerings for those who can’t afford a goat and for those who cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons.

Reading Matthew 28 for Wednesday, May 31st. Jesus rises from the dead, appears to his disciples, and gives them special instructions.

Reading Matthew 27 for Tuesday, May 30th. Jesus gets crucified, the earth goes dark for three hours, the dead rose up from their graves, and those who didn’t believe what He said about Himself started to wonder if it was all actually true.

Reading Matthew 26 for Monday, May 29th. Jesus is anointed with expensive perfume and then explains the bad things that will happen to him. His disciples (that didn’t betray Him), abandon Him when he gets arrested, even though they insisted they would not do that.

Reading Matthew 25 for Friday, May 26th. Be ready for Christ to return, even if He takes a long time. Don’t just bury the resources He gives you.

Reading Matthew 24 for Thursday, May 25th. Be ready for Christ’s return, it will be at an unexpected time and day, visible to everyone in the sky.

Reading Matthew 23 for Wednesday, May 24th. Woe to the Pharisees and teachers who act and speak things that do not align with God’s will and His priorities.

Reading Leviticus 1 for Thursday, May 18th. God speaks to Moses from the tent of meeting and explains how He wants sacrifices to me made and what is to be used for acceptable sacrifices.

Reading Exodus 40 for Wednesday, May 17th. Moses sets everything up, and gets Aaron and his sons ready and dressed for priestly service.

Reading Exodus 39 for Tuesday, May 16th. The ephod, breastpiece, robes, turbans and tunics are made for the priests. Moses inspects all of the work and confirms all of the items were made properly, according to God’s instructions, and he blesses them.

Reading Exodus 38 for Monday, May 15th. The altar of burnt offering, washing basin, and the courtyard are fashioned and the amounts are detailed of the materials used according to the instructions God gave for their crafting.

Reading Exodus 37 for Saturday, May 13th. The ark, table, lamp stand, and altar info incense are fashioned according to the instructions given by God.

Reading Exodus 36 for Friday, May 12th. Moses had to tell the people to stop bringing offerings, because they had enough to finish the temple.

Reading Exodus 35 for Thursday, May 11th. The people are reminded not to work on the sabbath day. After collecting necessary supplies, the first two master craftsmen and art teachers are filled with God’s spirit.

Reading Exodus 34 for Wednesday, May 10th. Moses had a radiant face that scared people at first.

Reading Exodus 33 for Tuesday, May 9th. God shows his glory to Moses without showing him his face, because he didn’t want him to die.

Reading Exodus 32 for Monday, May 8th. Moses broke the first two tablets on the ground when he saw how depraved the Israelites were and Aaron failed a test of his leadership.

Reading Exodus 31 for Saturday, May 6th. God fills Bezalel with His spirit and gave him artistic skills and abilities to craft many things designated for service in God’s temple.

Reading Exodus 30 for Friday, May 5th. Instructions are detailed for making anointing oil and incense that we are explicitly commanded not to make to enjoy for ourselves, but only for anointing priests and for burning in God’s presence.

Reading Exodus 29 for Thursday, May 4th. Instructions are given to make Aaron and his sons ready and consecrated so that God will dwell among them and the Israelites.

Reading Matthew 22 for Friday, April 28th. People will be ‘like angels’ at the resurrection, in that they will not be married or given in marriage.

Reading Matthew 20 for Wednesday, April 26th. God will be generous with whoever He wants, so don’t be envious of others or you are missing the point.

Reading Matthew 19 for Tuesday, April 25th. Jesus says you can learn a lot from little children, so don’t hinder them.

Reading Exodus 18 for Friday, April 14th. Jethro, Moses’ his father-in-law had some helpful advice to give him. 

Reading Exodus 17 for Thursday, April 13th. The people grumbled and argued with Moses about their thirst, and God miraculously provided water for them. A battle ensued with the Amalekites, and the Israelites continued to win, as long as Moses’ staff was being held up. 

Reading Exodus 16 for Wednesday, April 12th. God delivered only enough bread and meat for each and every day for forty years, and allowed double to be collected before the sabbath day, so they would not need to go out on the Sabbath. 

Reading Exodus 15 for Tuesday, April 11th. Miriam and others sing and play tambourines to celebrate what God has done. 

Reading Exodus 14 for Monday, April 10th. God fights for the Israelites and miraculously kills all of Pharaoh’s chariot drivers in the sea. 

Reading Exodus 13 for Saturday, April 8th. God guided the Israelites through the desert by day and night with a pillar of fire and clouds. He instructed them to give their firstborn to Him as well. 

Reading Exodus 12 for Friday, April 7th. God spared the lives of the firstborn of those who obeyed His instructions for the Passover. 

Reading Exodus 11 for Thursday, April 6th. The Lord sends a message to Pharaoh that he will kill all the firstborn sons of Egypt, but Pharaoh still does not let them go. 

Reading Exodus 10 for Wednesday, April 5th. Moses asked Pharaoh to let the people and their livestock go, but Pharaoh would not budge even though Egypt suffered for it. 

Reading Exodus 9 for Tuesday, April 4th. Really bad plagues came and caused pain and suffering for the Egyptians, but Pharaoh would still not let the Israelites go.
