Reading Matthew 5 for Monday, January 30th, 2017. Jesus lists those who are blessed, His fulfillment of the law, and how laws apply to our hearts and our thinking. He teaches about not swearing by God or the Earth, legal debts, and perfecting Godly love by loving our enemies, not only our friends.

Reading Genesis 16 for Thursday, January 19th. Sarai conceived a plan to have children through adding a second wife for Abram, but it was not God’s plan. 

Reading Genesis 15 for Wednesday, January 18th. God makes a covenant with Abram and tells him about the future of his offspring. 

Reading Genesis 14 for Tuesday, January 17th. Abram rescues Lot and gives a tenth to Melchizedek. 

Reading Genesis 13 for Monday, January 16th. Abram and Lot decide to part ways. God then blesses Abram and t Los him that all the land he could see would belong to his uncountable offspring. 

Reading Genesis 12 for Saturday, January 14, 2017. God declares that anyone who blesses Abram will be blessed and anyone who curses Abram will be cursed. Then Abram asks Sarai to lie about their relationship because he was afraid of Pharaoh wanting to kill him for her.

Reading Genesis 1 for Monday, January 2nd, 2017. God created all things. 

Reading Revelation 22 for Saturday, December 31st. The new Jerusalem and the new Earth will be better and is coming with Jesus’ return. Be ready, and be what you are. 

Reading Revelation 21 for Friday, December 30th. A new Jerusalem is delivered from heaven from God and will not have doors or traditional lighting. It will not need doors, because there will be no night. The earth will be new and different as well. 

Reading Revelation 20 for Thursday, December 29th. Satan and his followers are imprisoned for 1,000 years and then punished, and those who have not been added to the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire as well. 

Reading Revelation 19 for Wednesday, December 28th. Celebration begins in heaven due to the destruction of Babylon and God’s wrath is delivered by those riding white horses, led by the “…king of kings and lord of lords.” 

Reading Revelation 18 for Tuesday, December 27th. Babylon is destroyed because of her excessive luxuries and the shedding of innocent blood. 

Reading Revelation 17 for Monday, December 26th. Prophecy is described with graphic imagery of a woman riding a beast over waters that represent Babylon, several kings, and people.

Reading Zechariah 6 for Saturday, December 10th. Multi colored horses pull chariots through bronze mountains and Joshua is crowned and will build the temple of the LORD. 

Reading Zechariah 5 for Friday, December 9th. Thieves and liars will be destroyed, and sin will be measured throughout the land. 

Reading Zechariah 4 for Thursday, December 8th. Zerubbabel will finish the temple after the way is made for him, and there will be celebrating.
