Manifesting What You Want | Road to Revenue #70
To manifest what we desire, we must align with and trust the universe, focusing our energy on clearing the connection to what inspires us. Then, we must work towards executing and manifesting our desires. This is where 80% of our energy needs to be spent. Most people are great starters or openers, spending the majority of their energy and focus on how to stimulate interest or share a vision. They do not understand that this is only 20% of the journey. To create and manifest our desires personally and professionally, we must be both “ordinary” + “extra”, or in other words, extraordinary. We can manifest what we desire faster and more accurately when we are willing to make greater investments in ourselves. Remember that the extra mile is never crowded, which is why I call it the “Empty Mile.” Three Steps: From Possibility to Reality Manifesting, or making thought into reality for the more pragmatic-minded, takes a several-pronged approach. First, we need to decide what we want; then, we assess our goals in terms of contributions we can make to others and to society in general. When we consciously think about what we want or want to achieve, it becomes a possibility. Then we clear the connection to what inspires us, and the possibility becomes a probability. We now take action to make the probability into reality, or your perspective. Taking action is an essential part of this equation, you can’t manifest things simply by thinking hard enough about them, or even being inspired enough. You need to utilize the Law of GOYA, which John Assaraf taught me means Get Off Your Ass and take action. How to Forgive Yourself | Road to Revenue #69
Everyone falls and makes mistakes. It’s inevitable. But pain, whether it’s mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual, is just an indicator telling you that you have a lesson to learn. Lessons will keep coming until you learn them, so it’s much easier to practice forgiving yourself and getting excited about learning these lessons. I started realizing that I truly had to forgive myself for all the mistakes that I had made in order to accelerate and grow. There have been numerous occasions in the past where I blamed other people for my failures or setbacks, not taking personal accountability for what I had attracted into my life. I noticed that holding on to that anger or resentment affects who I am, what I call my quantum energy, and this impairs my ability to pursue my potential. A few years back, I had a neighbor who I'd bought a condo conversion from. The deal went sour, and we ended up blaming each other for that failure. We ended up in a lawsuit and he made up all these lies about me. I was so upset by the situation; it took me nine years to verbally forgive him. I actually had dreams about pulling out his fingernails and putting Tabasco on there, I couldn’t let it go. Although I had financially recovered, the pain and resentment were still there because I let it fester. I knew that the only way I would be able to raise my energy and overall peace would be to forgive him. Not because he deserved forgiveness, but because I deserved it. I closed my eyes and I pictured the guy that I hated, and I started thinking about all the good things about him. I thought about how he was a really good dad and gave back to the community. Instead of looking at the negative, I found the light in him. Slowly but surely, this mindset strategy shifted my energy and dissipated the negative feelings. There was actually a feeling of tenseness, of anxiety, of hatred, of attack every time I thought of the guy, and it finally dissipated to the point where I went up to him at a tailgate and thanked him for what had happened. He was freaked out because he hadn't processed the negative feelings for me. He flinched, and I just grabbed his hand and said, "I just need to thank you, because you helped me learn the greatest lesson of my life that has truly shifted my perspective, and I wanted to thank you." And I walked away. It wasn't that I was just thinking, saying, doing, believing that this gratitude was the right solution to this emotional problem, I actually felt grateful. How to Manage Your Time Better
One of the most compelling reasons to be a student of your calendar is that while the amount of time spent on scheduling grows with the amount of appointments that people have, the time needed to actually schedule meetings decreases. This means that the more meetings you schedule, the better you get at scheduling them. Contrary to popular belief, people that schedule or have many meetings during the day are not busier than other people. There's only two determining factors whether you're busy; whether you're accessible and how productive you are. You want to focus in on your accessibility and productivity when you look at your calendars. Create your own rules and your own philosophies and you will be, not only a student of your calendar, but you'll be able to manifest accurately and rapidly whatever it is that you want to accomplish.

Passion, Purpose, and Profitability | Road to Revenue #68
There are three pillars of success that you can choose to focus on, rather than attaching your happiness or fulfillment to a specific end goal. When you are able to effectively combine passion, purpose, and profitability, that is when you are getting closer to your true potential as a leader. 9 Ways to Focus on Your Passion Many people tend to think that passions come naturally to us, but I believe that the key to finding your passion is simply learning to love what you do. Passion is all about mindset, so practice telling yourself that you “get to” do something, rather than thinking that you “have to” do it. When we change how we look at the world, the things we look at change. Examine Your Mindset - Be honest about your ability to find passion in what others would find mundane or annoying. Can you infuse passion into what you are doing? Take Inventory of Who and What You Love (and Why You love Them) - Take stock of your current “passions”, as well as the characteristics or values that attract you to the. Use Your Imagination - Practice taking something from possibility to a probability in your mind, and then try to turn it into your perspective or reality. Ask People Who Sit in the Situation You Want to be in What They’re Passionate About - Find out what the people you look up to care most about and consider whether it fits your values. Get Better at What You are Currently Doing - Focus on improving at your current job, and search for the joy of progress. Trust and Vet - Take others at their word about how to make the most of a particular passion, hobby, or pursuit, but do your own research as well. Be More Interested Than Interesting - Exercise your curiosity frequently and be willing to try new pursuits. Practice, and Practice, and Practice Some More - Think about skills, knowledge, and desire that you can apply to your greatest passions. Never Quit Angling - Make use of the Law of Gravity, the Law of GOYA and the Law of Attraction in order to find gratitude for where you are, take action and angle towards where you want to be, and create coincidences with your attention and intention. 5 Lessons That Will Change Your Life
Consistency creates persistence How can you do something every day and quit? These words don’t even belong in the same sentence. I tell people, look, I just enjoy the consistent, persistent pursuit of my potential every day, whatever it may be that I’m doing—potential as a son when I call my mom, potential as a human being when I work to improve my health by working out, meditating, and eating right, and potential as a business leader when I spend time each day looking for the right new employee to add to the team. It’s the energy of this consistency that is what leads to consistent improvement. And that’s what you need to do to be in the game.

The Fastest Way to Get to Where You Want in Life
Be radically humble. Identify those people who have the right situational knowledge or experience or who sit in a position that you want to be in. To do that, you have to be one thing: radically humble. Realize that most people love to give. Most people freely give their advice to those that value it. Most people love to share their experience, their situational knowledge. Even their relationship capital— most people love to give to those they emotionally connect with. The reason they love to give is ego based. It’s really not a humble thing at all. They feel separate or superior when they’re giving, and in a scarce world, they feel better about themselves when they give. You can always identify humble people because not only can they give unconditionally (without expectation or trading) but they can also ask for help. When it comes to humility, I like to talk about how the practice of humility opens your world to new skills and knowledge, key components for people who strive for great-ness in their decision making. Take Kobe Bryant, for example. Most know him as one of the best scorers in NBA history, a champion by any definition of the word. But Bryant did not let his previous successes cloud his judgment when starting the media portion of his career. He was humble enough to call upon others who had different skill sets and a different knowledge base, and that’s why his early forays into media, such as his Oscar Award–winning short film Dear Basketball, have been such a hit with audiences. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Bryant shared the simple, humble way that he was able to attach such respected names as composer John Williams and animator Glen Keane to his project: he asked. As Bryant told the audience, when it comes to learning any skill or gaining knowledge when you are unsure, “the best way to learn is to reach out and ask.”1 Even one of sports’ all-time greats understands that the practice of humility will help leaders avoid the traps that their egos are apt to send them into. Healing Your Relationships | Road to Revenue #67
We cannot find outside of ourselves what we cannot find inside of ourselves and that means that our most important relationship is actually with...yourself. You need to have a healthy relationship with yourself before you can establish a healthy connection with others, and that often takes quite a bit of self-reflection to accomplish. Six Steps to Healing After thorough self-examination, you should be prepared to take action and make a change. These six steps will aid you through your healing process and help you to overcome past trauma. 1. Develop Your Awareness - You can’t heal trauma if you without recognizing the aforementioned signs that it is there. Once you’ve accomplished that, it is time to move forward from the harmful relationships in your past. 2. Be Understanding - Try to shift your perspective on the past and focus less on the pain, taking a more objective view of what happened. When you can apply logic and reason to a past relationship, it allows you to examine why your partner (or you) might have acted a certain way. 3. Have Compassion - Understand that we are all human and make mistakes, there is not a day that goes by without making a misstep. When we have compassion for ourselves and our past, that is when we are able to effectively connect with those around us. And having compassion for those who have done us wrong is important, as well. 4. Have Forgiveness - When you are understanding and compassionate, you are also empowered to forgive yourself. Shedding resentment for yourself and for others, even forgiving “the unforgivable”, is a freeing act. 5. Be Accountable and Learn - Practice asking yourself two questions about trauma in order to get past it: “What did I do to attract this to myself and what am I supposed to learn from this situation?” When you are able to find the light, love and lessons in a given event, you have taken control of it. 6. Transformation - Following those five steps gives you power over any trauma in your life, giving you the tools to overcome what’s holding you back, so you can thrive in the present. How to Pitch Your Idea | Road to Revenue #65
THE 6 STEPS YOU NEED TO GAIN CREDIBILITY: 1. Credibility: Showcase credibility through your team, advisors, and patents. Illuminate your early mistakes and communicate how they have attributed to your situational knowledge to navigate those same scenarios in the future. 2. Emotional Attachment: Understand the emotional attachment your consumers have to your product/service and how to leverage it. 3. Reasons to Invest: Evaluate the reasons people buy, not the perceived reasons you think they buy. A giant potential market means nothing without market share. 4. Impacts: Communicate to your prospects the impact your business will have. 5. Capabilities: Explain the capabilities you have and need. 6. Quantitative Ask with 100/20 Rule: You can’t get an investment unless you ask. Be clear about what you want, how you will use it, and what investors will get in return. Lastly, Make your business a profit-center for others by being able to ask and answer the following question: “Determinant of the credibility you’ve told me we have, the emotional connection, the reasons, impacts, and capabilities; do you see any reason you wouldn’t want to move forward?” If you can ask that question and realistically predict the response, then you have effectively turned your business into a profit-center. Stop Lying to Yourself | Road to Revenue #64
EEight Ways to Stop Lying To Yourself Once we have a better understanding of the signs that we’re lying to ourselves, it’s time to utilize strategies to stop telling these lies. 1. Stop taking constructive criticism as a personal attack - Don’t assume the negative when others are providing you opportunities to learn and grow. Take a more positive perspective and try to find the light, love, and lessons in the input of those around you. 2. Stop trying to convince everyone that you're right - The ego and its needs are one of our greatest enemies, especially our need to be right. When you must always be correct or superior, you will invariably tell yourself lies to elevate your self esteem. 3. Realize that you can enjoy the consistent and persistent pursuit of your potential - Attaching your emotions to a specific outcome is not the right mindset to have, instead focus on achieving progress each day and enjoying yourself in the process. 4. Take chances - Be willing to take risks, rather than telling yourself, “It’s never going to happen”. Nothing extraordinary happens when you are taking ordinary chances. 5. Stop putting things off until tomorrow - One of the most common ways we lie to ourselves occurs when we decide that we will do something later that could easily be accomplished now. That’s why I have a “Do It Now” Rule. 6. Quit doubting yourself - Worrying means that you are voting for something that you don’t want in your life. Starve your doubts and fears, don’t give them any energy or attention. 7. Consider others' points of view - Whenever our reality doesn’t match what others perceive, it is important to take a step back and try to understand why. This reflection can stop us from repeating the same lies to ourselves over and over. 8. Realize when you've taken on too much – Another common lie we tell ourselves is that we don’t need help, when asking for assistance would be our best path forward. It’s alright to admit that we are in over our head and need help. The Definition of Happiness
EThe definition of happiness is to enjoy the consistent every day, persistent without quit, the pursuit of your potential, your truth, your best self. Stop worrying about what other people think, what you don't have, what you don't want, or what's missing in your life. Simply what YOU want. That's the definition of happiness to me. The people who can enjoy the consistent pursuit of their own potential. In order to do that, we need to focus on the four values of gratitude, forgiveness, accountability, and effective communication, and act upon them daily. Most think it's their “why” that's going to make them happy. It's not. It's your “what” you need to know. You need to take inventory every day of WHAT you want. What you want personally, what you want to experience, what you want to give to people, and what you want to receive. Most people have no problem giving, but they have a huge problem receiving, and you can't give what you don't have. There are two currencies in the world. One is money, an object of energy that we put into the flow to get what we want, and the other is faith. Money is important in the pragmatic sense because if you're shopping for the right things like feeding people, building community centers, supporting your family, whatever it is, those are the right things. You can be very, very happy. Here's how the currency of faith works. It's like a GPS of happiness, because not only will faith reroute you when you’re lost, but it will actually change your destination to somewhere better than you can even think of. So, you might have a goal or destination in mind, and then you make a mistake or you have a failure or a setback and by having faith in yourself, you will be rerouted to a better destination than you had planned I know this about myself now. I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am happy. I just have to figure out what I am doing to interfere with my health, my wealth, and my happiness. I don't have to go get it, happiness is already a part of me, it's already one with me. It's already there. I just have to figure what I'm doing to interfere with it.
