Director and writer Max Winkler's newest film "Jungleland," debuted at last year's Toronto International Film Festival to positive reviews and it has taken over a year for the film to get released for audiences to see. "The Forty-Year-Old Version" bursted onto the scene at Sundance earlier this year to tremendous buzz and acclaim. Tre Peart was only 8 years old when he read the book "The War With Grandpa" and pitched it to his parents Marvin Peart (Brookdale Studios) and Rosa Peart (Marro Media Company) who later financed and produced the comedy film, also titled "The War With Grandpa," starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman and Christopher Walkin.
