Director Zack Snyder's first official entry into the DC Extended Universe began in 2013 with "Man Of Steel" and at the time it was met with a fairly positive reception. It rebooted the Superman franchise, introduced the world to Henry Cavill and launched a fanbase that has continued to be passionate supporters of the director's work and the DCEU, even if critics have been less kind, till this day.
