EDr. Tim Shaw is a philosopher and creator of the Great Philosophical Problems Think Tank. His main focus is on moral injury and how it relates to military veterans. The fascinating thing about his research is that it's tied to Friedreich Nietzche's work, Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Likely, you haven't heard of this monumental piece of Western literature but I hope this episode compels you do seek it out. It is the underpinning of our entire modern culture and provides a road map to becoming the "Ubermensch" or superman that transcends God. From his website: "Our mission is to provide of a unifying definition, and accompanying phenomenology, for the construct of Moral Injury to address suicide in veteran and wider civilian populations. Like the social lexicons provided by traumatic stress nomenclature, we set out to provide the “Moral Grammar” for what has come to be understood as the “Signature Wound” of contemporary war."

Dr. Kelly Starrett is back on the podcast and it's a banger! The big picture here is that the current medical establishment is not in the business of keeping you healthy. They are there to treat medical emergencies and we need to look at them as victims of the medical establishment. I wanted to chat a lot about kids and how to keep them healthy and active. He created an interesting foundation called Standup Kids to get standing desks into schools and this hits home now that one of my kids is in school. Ultimately, Kelly wants to instruct the next generation on how to manage pain, on their own, without having to seek medical attention. This would have a monumental impact on the healthcare system and allow doctors to genuinely treat serious ailments. S4 Ep 122Warrant Officer James Topp Is Walking Across Canada To Fight Medical Tyranny
EJames Topp is a Canadian Armed Forces Member with a distinguished 28 year Reg Force career, Afghan war veteran and member of the Canadian Public Service. Earlier this year, James decided he'd had enough with the Federal government's vaccine mandates and draconian decries that forced Canadians to take a medical intervention that they didn't want or face loss of employment access to civil life and worst of all, suspension of civil rights. He began raising awareness of how damaging these federal mandates were to himself and his fellow citizens by walking across Canada. His organization calls for an end to vaccine mandates or requirements for COVID tests, quarantines or isolation, reinstatement of people who lost jobs because of mandates and compensation for them, and a ban on lockdowns. Let's give the benefit of the doubt to the government; they were attempting to save lives. Before embarking on restricting our civil rights to protect the lives of Canadians, shouldn't the process have been heavily vetted against the actual science, which would include more opinions than just that of our Public Health department? Therefore providing a cost vs benefit analysis of imposing such a monumental policy. It wasn't done.
