The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 4th study session on Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf's In The Blink of an Eye. Abdul-Rauf, formerly known as Chris Jackson, is a retired NBA player who became infamous for not participating in the national anthem during the 1996 season. Abdul-Rauf was quickly ejected from the league and all but forgotten. In fact, White journalists found as many of Abdul-Rauf's black co-workers as possible to have them criticize how he responded to White Supremacy/Racism. Gus hopes that by studying Abdul-Rauf's tribulations, non-white people will better understand the importance of resisting the urge to criticize other Victims of Racism. Last week, Abdul-Rauf described his brilliant college basketball career. He scored buckets by the bushel and refused to take sass from a behemoth LSU freshman named Shaquille O'Neal. Importantly, Abdul-Rauf detailed how Shaq's father, the late Sergeant Philip Harrison, was heavily involved with his son's basketball development and talked the White coach often. This is in stark contrast to the "father hunger" we've heard about throughout this memoir. We also heard about an extraordinary episode where Abdul-Rauf attended a White Louisiana church, and a Suspected Racist child spoke in tongues while placing hands on the college hoops star. This and other questions led to his conversion to Islam. Apparently, Coach Dale Brown (Racist Suspect) gave his top black player a copy of Minister Malcolm X's autobiography, and this radically changed how Abdul-Rauf thought about, behaved around, and spoke to individuals classified as White. A medical sociologist and health services researcher whose research and teaching focus on health disparities, population health, and substance use, Dr. Franz is an Associate Professor of Community-based Health at Ohio University. She is classified as a White Woman (Suspected Racist). Her areas of expertise include: the Affordable Care Act (affectionately known as Obamacare), Covid-19, health disparities, and “Racism/Discrimination.” Gus found a number of Dr. Franz’s reports while researching White Supremacy and the rona. After growing up in Beijing, Dr. Bai went to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2009 for an undergraduate education and completed a social psychology Ph.D. in 2015 . Next door in Louisiana, 5 officers were charged for the police killing of Ronald Greene. This black male was pummeled, choked and dragged by his shackles before before his death the same year as Ms. Jefferson. Many across the country were shocked by the news that Ellen DeGeneres's black male college, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, reportedly took his own life. A "married" attempted father of three children, no one had clues that Boss was dealing with mental health problems. This Victim of Racism was heavily involved with the allegations that DeGeneres's allowed a toxic and racist work environment where employees were mistreated. Gus T. was one again approached by a non-white female who had a new round of problems on the job - like most (if not all) non-white people. She shared that one of her non-white co-workers quit his job without giving notification. His unannounced resignation created a host of problems for his non-white co-workers who were not calling it quits. In fact, their non-white colleague was so unprofessional during their final shift together, she feared that he may have tampered with company property. She questioned if she should inform management (Whites) about what happened. This is a pitiful illustration of why Gus recommends that non-white people always make their best effort to resign from a job in a professional manner. Cursing out the boss, looting company property, and/or any other vengeful acts should be avoided. A Pulitzer Prize-winning author and a professor of history and Rothman Family Chair in the Humanities, specializing in environmental history and sustainability studies at the University of Florida, Mr. Davis has written a number a highly successful non-fiction books on the environment, the Gulf of Mexico and US history. Gus discovered his work while researching Florida's immense history of lynching black males. In 1989, Dr. Davis wrote, Whitewash in Florida The Lynching of Jesse James Payne and Its Aftermath. He details how "95%" of polled Florida Whites were "Kool & The Gang" with the 1945 lynching of Mr. Payne #WorthlessNegroFromFlorida In fact, many Whites in Florida were more angered about the prospect of the Payne lynching drawing unwanted attention to the southern style of practicing White Supremacy/Racism. Gus asked about the homoerotic and homosocial components of lynching, where White men drank beers and formed a brotherhood around mutilating the genitals of black males. We even compared the history of White lynching to their pastimes of coon and fox hunting. We also made time to discuss Dr. Davis's book, Race Against Time: Culture and Separation in Natchez Since 1930 - which examines the history of White culture and White Supremacy/Racism in the Magnolia state. Importantly, Dr. Davis got very uppity when Gus failed to address him as "Dr." during the initial portion of the broadcast. As we closed, he said it was fine to call him Jack. Also, he threw a major tantrum when Gus pointed out that Dr. Davis neglected to answer my question about whether a significant number of Whites are "often sincerely and greatly pained by Racism." Dr.Milwicki previously worked as an associate professor at the University of Texas A&M. We’ll review his nifty report, Baptizing Nazism An Analysis of the Religious Roots of American Neo-Nazism - which explores the history and context of the religion of White Supremacy. We’ll be sure to ask Dr. Milwicki about the recent and suspicious attacks on electrical grids in numerous US states. This specific act of terrorism is explicitly detailed in Dr. William Pierce’s The Turner Diaries - a “bible” for many White Supremacists of the past 25 years. Congress released a report this week alleging that Dan Snyder, White owner of the Washington Redskins football team, maintained a "toxic" work environment which included sexist comments, violations of policy and procedure, Racism, deliberately leaked emails to injure other employee's reputations, and an assortment of other misdeeds. For decades, the Redskins were the pride of Washington, D.C. Still no word on what the punishment will be for Snyder or anyone else affiliated with Redskins franchise. We'll also hear more reports about a McDonald's franchise's abuse child workers. Many children have been used/abused to compensate for labor shortages during the pandemic. He writes about growing up in Mississippi and starving all the time. He thankfully took advantage of the many fruit and nut trees in the delta region, but we also heard about sugar water and coffee for dinner. Abdul-Rauf's black mother did not graduate high school and was likely illiterate. We heard about black people name-calling other black people and more details about attempted black parents having random sex partners (boyfriends) around their young offspring. Abdul-Rauf's mother beat him when he was young and shouted at him for being fidgety. He's scheduled to be sentenced next year, and could still face the death penalty for the federal charges related to his attack. Gus T. hopes to be in west New York for the sentencing. After we spent the whole summer hand-ringing about the poisoned and insufficient water in Jackson, Mississippi, Houston, Texas received a boil water notice this week. Large numbers of black people reside in this "Lone Star" city, and Victims of Racism has fewer resources to compensate for these sort of crises. In Missouri, Kevin Johnson was executed as a convicted "cop killer" even after evidence demonstrated White Supremacy/Racism during his court proceedings. In San Francisco, California, enforcement officials ponder if employing robots with lethal force will improve Bay Area policing. Speaking of enforcement officials, Austin Lee Edwards worked for two Virginia enforcement agencies and allegedly had a "spotless" record before he drove to California to kidnap a 15-year-old child. The Chesapeake, Virginia Walmart was the location of one of the more recent mass shootings. A 31-year-old black male, Andre Bing, is accused of having killed 6 people and taken in his own life in the carnage. Four of the six fatalities appear to be non-white people to Gus. Bing is alleged to have written a "death note" accusing his co-workers of mocking him and calling him cannibal serial killer "Jeffrey Dahmer." Speaking of White traditions, while Jerry Jones's Dallas Cowboys hosted a home tackle football game on Thanksgiving Day for the 56th time since 1966, a Washington Post report showcased a 1957 photograph of a teenage Jones amongst a gang of White Supremacists who are verbally abusing a small group of black students attempting to "integrate" an Arkansas high school. Jones said we're bringing up old stuff and he was just "curious." While the planet focuses on the World Cup in Qatar, black soccer players are constantly subjected to Racial threats and humiliation on social media. "School records showed that one 14-year-old, who worked at the Grand Island facility from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. five to six days a week, from December 2021 to this past April, fell asleep in class and missed school after suffering injuries from chemical burns," reports NBC. The Director and President of Behind The Line, Inc., Dr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Salisbury University, her Master of Science from Capella University, and completed her Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology at Walden University. She is certified to teach both Critical Incident Stress Management and Mental Health First Aid, and she helps instruct cadets in the mental health unit at the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy. We'll discuss her 2022 dissertation: The Role of Child and Adult Sexual Fantasies and Criminal Paraphilia Involving Serial Sexual Murderers. Gus found her report after speaking with Bishop Tony Caldwell about the missing black females in Missouri. Bishop Caldwell referenced previous serial murders in the area, including Robert Berdella. The Washington Post's Akilah Johnson reported that Covid-19 deaths disproportionately impacted black people during the early days of the pandemic. The Context of White Supremacy host Gus T. Renegade, attended an open forum to discuss the future of Seattle Public Library and how the institute can better serve Puget Sound patrons. Director Tom Fay, White Man, Suspected White Supremacist was slated to be in attendance for one hour to field questions. Gus addressed numerous tacky, deliberate incidents of White Supremacy where White SPL staff mistreated Gus and used their authority to exercise Institutional White Power. This includes Gus's February 2022 visit to the Greenwood Branch where Emily Grayson admitted to constructing a massive "black history month" display in the front of the Greenwood facility. Grayson's "project" deliberately excluded black males to focus on the scourge of misogyny. She and Branch Manager Hayden Bass, White Woman, refused to make changes to the display or to honestly answer questions about their tacky exhibit. Literally days later, Gus was accosted at the Northeast location. Amy Faulkner, White Woman, and a White Male Seattle Public Library staff member who would only identify himself by badge number "#5419" repeatedly harassed me for speaking too loud in the library. Meanwhile, numerous White patrons spoke loudly and carefree throughout the facility. Gus spoke with Director Fay about all of these incidents earlier this year. He was dishonest in answering some questions and failed to deliver a public acknowledgement of their Institutionally Racist conduct. A lead organizer of the Justice and Dignity Community Center in Kansas City Missouri, Bishop Caldwell is a parent and long time resident of the "Show-Me" state. We'll discuss the recent capture of Timothy Haslett Jr. in Excelsior, Missouri. This White Man is charged with rape, kidnapping and assault in Clay County. The black female who escaped from Haslett's property told enforcement officials she was enslaved in his basement and "managed to escape when he took his elementary-age son to school." Well in advance of this black female's escape, numerous Missouri activists reported missing black females and suspicious activity. White enforcement officials categorically denied any evidence of missing black females or a serial killer in the area. Ironically, officers are making the same claim (no serial killer or missing black females here) even after Haslett's arrest. Russell passed away on July 31st of this year at the age of 88. The NBA titan won eleven championships for the revered Boston Celtics and an Olympic gold medal, and was the first black head coach in any professional sport in US history. This week, the new NBA season begins with all thirty teams sporting a logo in honor of Russell for the entire season, and Russell's number six is slated to be retired by every franchise next season. Boston opens their season with the first of two tribute games to honor their legendary center. Last week, Russell detailed the business of sports and the extraordinary amount of money Whites invest to attend and watch sporting events as well the billion-dollar industry of sports betting. Russell was writing half a century before fantasy sports existed and when sports gambling was illegal in most jurisdictions. In fact, Russell's memoir was published days before ESPN debuted. Like Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Russell noted the many similarities between war and white ball games. The Louisiana native also made a striking point about the famed Harlem Globetrotters, a traveling group of black male basketball players whose peak popularity was during the mid 20th century when black males were mostly excluded from professional basketball leagues. Russell branded the troupe a minstrel show owned by a Racist White Man, Abraham Saperstein, who promoted stale, White Supremacist depictions of goofy, clowning black guys. Gus was really proud for tracking down a report on a massive case of White Supremacy/Racism against the US government's NASA. The C.O.W.S. routinely emphasizes that White Supremacy/Racism dominates the known universe. Tonya Chapman, a black female, was employed at a Oakland Living Center - an assisted-living facility. One of Chapman's White supervisors brought his son to work. This White child's grandparents own Oakland Living Center. Chapman alleges this 6-year-old told her: “Tonya, my daddy called you a lazy ass black nigger because you don’t come to work." Russell is second only to his contemporary Wilt Chamberlain in all time NBA rebounds. The Louisiana native is also credited with being the first black head coach in the National Basketball Association. Last week, Russell detailed his high school travels up and down the west coast and into Canada playing basketball. Their racially mixed team bucked the basketball authority of the time by shooting jump shots and jumping on defense to black opponents' shots. Defense in general and shot-blocking specifically was not valued, taught, or even recorded at the time. The young prodigy said White coaches branded their style of play "n!@@#rball" and frequently accused he and his teammates of cheating. The executive director of MORE2 (squared)u, McDonald is a White Woman WHO worked with Lamont McIntyre's mother nearly 20 years ago. Mr. McIntyre was wrongfully convicted of a double murder in 1994 - he was 17 7at the time, and served 23 years in prison before receiving being released with a "certificate of innocence." McDonald says that Mr. McIntyre's mother was about to have a breakdown worrying about her son during those decades. This made her curious about the McIntyre case. Her inquisitiveness led to Roger Golubski, a retired Kansas City Kansas police detective who toted a badge and gun for more than a quarter century. McIntyre's mother alleged that Golubski attempted to extort her for sexual favors. When she refused, he falsely arrested her child for double murder where many of the the victims's relatives loudly announced that the wrong person was convicted. We discuss the details of an appalling instance of Race Soldiering and White Terrorism in the land where President Obama's White mother was raised. We'll give as much detail as possible about the many other cases where Golubski is accused of raping black girls - sometimes in his police cruiser or even in the police station. "In the suit, EEOC said the plant manager compared Black and Hispanic employees to excrement and stains in a toilet. However, he is most known for his counter-racist efforts - which includes lots of writing. Importantly, Russell's memoir is co-authored by award-winning White historian Taylor Branch, so any omission of relevant information or minimizing of White Terrorism should be thought of as deliberate Racism by Branch. Last week, Russell described a pivotal moment of his childhood. Oakland Public Library was Russell's sanctuary and the Bay Area transplant devoured books. While flipping through a history book, Russell read a passage that insisted slavery was the best thing to ever happened to ignorant, primitive black people. This paragraph gnawed at him for weeks and lit a simmering anger in Russell about the mistreatment of black people. Tragically, Russell sounds just like 21st century non-white children when he describes "bitter" White teachers forced to labor at Oakland's McClymonds High School. He also details how his grandfather, "The Old Man," was dumbfounded upon attending his first NBA game years later. Seeing his black grandson coach a team where White men had to follow Russell's commands, scrambled his brain computer.
