Old Space Show – Planet of the Apes “The Good Seeds” with Russell McGee
“The Good Seeds” finds Galen and his astronaut pals down on an ape farm. Well, a farm run by apes. See as they help around the land while hiding out, yet have to deal with the adversary of mythic superstition. Out Now Commentary – Face/Off (1997)
With the release of Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent this month, we are taking a look back at a stone-cold Cage classic. Face/Off was at the height of powers for Nic Cage, John Travolta and John Woo. A fine, big spectacle, high concept, high emotion thrill ride that is one of the most balls to the wall fun R-rated action pics the decade would offer. In addition to myself, this commentary features Aaron Neuwirth (Out Now host, We Live Entertainment),Scott Mendelson (Forbes) and Mark Hofmeyer (The Deep Blue Sea Podcast). -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (4/27) with Old Space Show. Closing With A Song “Do The Evolution” by Pearl Jam with Jonathan Graves
I had always planned to get to Pearl Jam as they are one of my favorite bands. But, I’d imagined it would be something like “Jeremy”, “Alive” or “Love Boat Captain”. Seeing as things came together with Jonathan Graves being a big animation guy and Pearl Jam having one of the most glorious fully animated music videos…”Do the Evolution” it is! And marvelously, this was probably the BEST choice. Between the video and the song (Which comes from their 5th album, Yield), there was A LOT to talk about. We really dive into this one and admire everything about it. How things have changed, how the video was sadly prophetic, how dark it gets. It’s a lot. The video comes from one of the people from Batman: The Animated Series and Todd McFarlane, so there’s even more going for it. Old Space Show – Planet of the Apes “The Trap” with Russell McGee
What happens when ape and man are trapped under the rubble of a desecrated city with no feasible way out? Do they get along? Do they fight to the death? Do we get another that’s not a common science fiction television show trope? Who knows, but Russell McGee and I are here to dissect it! Also – WOMEN! They are in the episode AND say words! Russell McGee from the Big Finish Productions & WTIU-TV is the Companion for The Planet of the Apes. The Brandon Peters Show will return Friday (4/22) to close with a song. What’s Up, Doc? (1972) at 50 with Jonathan Graves
Another seminal film in the history of the medium turned 50 years old this year as well and isn’t really getting the recognition some others are. Peter Bogdanovich’s What’s Up, Doc? starring Babra Streisand and Ryan O’Neal was the 3rd highest grossing film of 1972. It trailed only The Godfather and The Poseidon Adventure in ticket sales. The film is a screwball comedy throwback that also pulls some inspiration from Looney Tunes. And the perfect guest for all that is the host of the premiere Looney Tunes podcast, This Means Podcast – Jonathan Graves. Jonathan is also the spouse of show regular Sabina Graves. We have quite the conversation regarding this wonderful piece of art as we relish in its production, snappy script and performances and just marvel at how untiring it gets. What’s Up, Doc? truly is a film that needs to be rediscovered as its as hilarious as it is clever as it is just damn fine filmmaking. -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (4/20) with Old Space Show TECHNICAL INFORMATION VocalsBrandon – Shure SM58-LCJonathan – Unknown Microphone (Recorded with Zoom) Post ProductionNCH Wavepad Masters Edition v8.38NCH MixPad Masters v5.22The Levelator 2 RUNTIME: 120 minutes What’s Up, Doc? is available on DVD and Blu-ray. Old Space Show – Planet of the Apes “The Gladiators” with Russell McGee
We get our first notable guest star here in the form of a young Marc Singer who would go on to break out in The Beastmaster 8 years later. This is a pretty typical generic science fiction TV show plot, but is it any different (or better) when you paint it on the Planet of the Apes canvas? Russell and I dug in to find out. Russell McGee from the Big Finish Productions & WTIU-TV is the Companion for The Planet of the Apes. Announcing THE SUMMER OF ’82 AT 40!
No episode this week, but I’m finally ready to announce the big project I’ve been working on this year. So without further adieu, let me unveil… THE SUMMER OF ’82 AT 40 One of the biggest summer movie seasons of all time turns the same age I did this year and I wanted to take a big dive back into that pop culture time capsule. Joining me for this journey all summer long is Scott Mendelson from Forbes. From May to August, we’ll be chronicling every film released that summer in the United States. Weekend by weekend. From Conan The Barbarian to The Beastmaster. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan to Rocky III. Fast Times at Ridgemont High to The Last American Virgin. Re-releases like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars and Bambi. We are covering EVERY movie. But, it doesn’t stop there, we will want a real grip on the full pop culture climate of the time. We’ll be talking about news events from each week, the top 10 TV shows of any given week, the top 10 songs on the Casey Kasem Weekly Top 40 and of course, the box office numbers. It’s a deep dive with big movies and some you never knew existed. Hits nobody remembers, big name movies that bombed hard. Musicals, horror films, space, video games, stars, swords, sorcery, the movies had it all that summer. So be here May 2, as Scott and I travel through THE SUMMER OF ’82 AT 40! “Summer of ’82 Theme” by Pres Maxson
Closing With A Song “The Freshmen” by The Verve Pipe with Greg McGoon
This one came up out of nowhere recently in a side conversation between myself and show regular Aaron Neuwirth. And then…I realized it actually kind of fit Cabaret with that theme of abortion. So, yeah, abortion week on The Brandon Peters Show, i suppose. Greg McGoon is back and we talk about the song, its depths and lyrical meanings. But we also go over the era when it came out and how its been sort of misguidedly used in other media before. The Brandon Peters Show will return Monday (4/11) to announce the upcoming summer special. Old Space Show – Planet of the Apes “Escape From Tomorrow” with Russell McGee
This brand new series of Old Space Show is our first “by request” from a listener. And I’m always happy to dive right into The Planet of the Apes, one of my personal favorite media properties of all time. And even more fun to have along with me is one of my finest cohorts, the marvelous Russell McGee. We crack open the premiere with our talk of our Ape experiences, background on the show, its players and more. Of course, we also dive into this madhouse and discuss the episode proper. Cabaret (1972) at 50 with Greg McGoon
Cabaret holds the distinction of taking home the most Academy Awards at a ceremony and not winning Best Picture. It won 8, including major categories like Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography but lost out to The Godfather on the grand prize. Seeing as that film is also turning 50, loads of attention is being paid to it, and rightfully so. Not that Cabaret isn’t being recognized, but for my show, I wanted to give it its due. Personally, I have corners of the internet with me discussing The Godfather and writing about it already. Cabaret is one of my favorites ever and truly worthy of every bit of awards it “took” from The Godfather. An impressive film, with an impressive legacy and a whole lot to say. I’ve welcomed show staple Greg McGoon on board to discuss the film and he and I went for damn near 2 hours discussing it. And crazy enough, it’s all super focused and completely on topic. It’s better than I could’ve possibly imagined and I hope you enjoy it. -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (4/6) with the premiere of Old Space Show – The Planet of the Apes. Closing With A Song “Doctor In Distress” by Who Cares? with Rachel Frend
This is one of the more odd and obscure things covered here in our music video segments. And this comes in between Season 22 and Season 23 of Doctor Who (Before Trial of a Time Lord), but felt the best way to cap off Colin Baker as well as coincidentally landing on April 1st. “Doctor In Distress” is a “We Are The World” attempt at bringing Doctor Who back after its cancellation during Season 22. However, its quite embarrassing and one of the absolute silliest, headscratchiest things ever produced in the show’s run. Oddly enough, it recently came back into public awareness on Red Nose Day 2022 where they called it the worst song made for the cause. The audience even sang it. Enjoy this silliness, Rachel and I couldn’t wait to discuss it! The Brandon Peters Show will return. Old Space Show – Doctor Who: “The Trial of a Time Lord” Parts 13 & 14 (The Ultimate Foe) with Rachel Frend
Rachel and I are both quite fond of this two part story, but the road to get to it and the behind the scenes turmoil is just as exciting and just as amusing to discuss. The Ultimate Foe wasn’t what it was supposed to be and its debatable if it wouldn’t have been better than what we had. There are a lot of big Who ideas that come in here and never are revisited (Or are they?). From my standpoint, this fits in my abstract, wild, mindf*** type Who tale that I love to see. There’s some great ambition here and the fact that the second story was written in a matter of days in haste is very impressive. With the season at an end, as well as Colin Baker’s run as the Doctor, we reflect on it all to close out. Rachel Frend from the The Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast and the Gold Standard – Oscars Podcast is the Companion for Doctor Who: The Colin Baker Era. Old Space Show – Doctor Who: “The Trial of a Time Lord” Parts 9-12 (Terror of the Vervoids) with Rachel Frend
Bonnie Langford makes her debut as Mel Bush in the Pip & Jane Baker Agatha Christie homage “Terror of the Vervoids”. It also sees Bond and Avengers icon Honor Blackman grace the time and space of Doctor Who. With production changes, turmoil and all sorts of things going on behind the scenes, companion Mel really got a really weird end of the deal in her entrance and how her tenure played out. She makes her start here in an overstuff mystery with a questionable looking monster that may remind you of some genitalia. Though, Pip & Jane Baker’s words do seem to sing well with Colin Baker once again. Rachel Frend from the The Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast and the Gold Standard – Oscars Podcast is the Companion for Doctor Who: The Colin Baker Era. Old Space Show – Doctor Who: “The Trial of a Time Lord” Parts 5-8 (Mindwarp) with Rachel Frend
The Trial continues! This time the Valeyard presents a story including Rachel’s favorite – Sil! Yes, send her gifs, memes, photos, clips…she LOVES them! And and Old Space Show favorite guests in this episode, shouting to the balcony, its BRIAN BLESSED! “Mindwarp” features some very cool video effects as well brings an interesting debate on the Doctor’s mental state and intentions in the serial. Sadly, it also is the farewell of one of my favorite companions, the loveable and lovely Peri Brown. Rachel tells me to get over it, but I have my sob sob time in seeing Nicola Bryant off the show. Old Space Show – Doctor Who: “The Trial of a Time Lord” Parts 1-4 (The Mysterious Planet) with Rachel Frend
There are some technicalities abound, but there are some who consider Doctor Who’s 23rd season, “The Trial of a Time Lord”, one long running serial of 14 parts. It’s easily debatable as there are clearly 3 separate serials that stand on their own with a wrap-around. But, to appease both parties of ideals, we are going to do it in one shot this week, but in 4 separate segments. Our first piece of evidence presented is “The Mysterious Planet” which comes from legendary Doctor Who scribe Robert Holmes. This one features a revamp of the show after feedback on the previous season, and a much lesser budget. We meet The Inquisitor, The Valeyard and Sabalom Glitz in the trial kick off. And who doesn’t love underground tunnels and big goofy robots when it comes to Doctor Who? Rachel Frend from the The Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast and the Gold Standard – Oscars Podcast is the Companion for Doctor Who: The Colin Baker Era. Out Now Commentary – Batman & Robin (1997)
The Batman means it’s time for another Batman commentary on Out Now. And this is a big one as we complete a 10 year journey of doing commentaries for all of the 1990s live action films with Batman & Robin. And let me tell you, we’ve been trying to do Batman and Robin for quite some time here. While, yes, the film is nobody’s favorite, this is a very nutritional conversation on it. Focusing on the merits, what truly about it doesn’t work, what could have been and some of the comic geek relating things it does well and not so well. Yeah, I’m pretty proud of how this one turned out. In addition to myself, this commentary features Aaron Neuwirth (Out Now host, We Live Entertainment),Scott Mendelson (Forbes) and Terence Johnson (Le Noir Auteur). -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Monday (3/28) with an Old Space Show special – DOCTOR WHO: THE TRIAL OF A TIMELORD with Rachel Frend. Old Space Show – Space 1999: “The Dorcons” with Jim Dietz
When this episode was originally set to drop, I was only saying farewell to the show Space: 1999. In the most tragic turn of events, it is also where I had to say farewell to my longtime co host of Old Space Show, Jim Dietz. Jim passed away suddenly on Monday, March 7th of 2022, and I’m still a bit spooked, shaken, saddened and lost since the news was shared with me. He was one of the best people to podcast with; always game, always available, always on time and always bringing his A-Game. I had no idea what was to become of our final recording together, the final episode of Old Space Show: Space 1999. And I didn’t care whether it was to ever be released or not, I wanted it to be at the wishes of his family and the folks over at HHWLOD. I was asked to pull it from the original scheduling and I had no issue in doing so. A week later, they gave me the go ahead and said it would be okay to publish. It’s not the same episode it originally was going to be. I’ve added a new introduction and end bumper from myself to acknowledge and reflect on what has happened. There were also some bits of banter in the episode I removed that played a bit more sensitive now. But, I hope people enjoy it as a celebration and one more chance to hear some new stuff from Jim and hang out with him for 43 more minutes. I will miss him forever and be grateful to have spent time on this Earth together. If you’d like to help out Jim’s family, there is a GoFundMe currently going on where you may do so. Closing With A Song “I Can’t Take It” by Cheap Trick with Mike Vanderbilt
Mike Vanderbilt is the world’s living expert on Cheap Trick. Knowing this, it was an easy selection for the band for the music video. However, many of the “notable” songs didn’t have much going on in the videos. So I went with “I Can’t Take It”, which is pretty darn good tune on its own, but its got a pretty cool, nice and meaty video to chew on. Of course, I sit back a lot of this and enjoy Mike’s dive into the history of Cheap Trick at this time, with the album, the song and more. Its quite something. Plus we give some interesting takes and thoughts on the video. The Transformers: The Movie (1986) with Mike Vanderbilt
Both Mike Vanderbilt’s return and The Transformers: The Movie has been in the works for a LONG time over here on the show. We are busy guys and one thing leads to another. All of a sudden almost 7 months have passed since you were trying to set it up. Well, it’s finally here and rest assured, dear listeners, it doesn’t disappoint. Our discussion is one of nostalgia, passion, details, appreciation and the people who brought this movie to life and the legacy it has carried for 36 years. It’s a smooth conversation that really digs into the movie, the times, the different eras of your life watching it and more. Yes, I’m talking about the 85 minute cartoon about alien robots in outer space trying to get the shiny circle that gives them great power. It means THAT much to us. If you enjoy Mike and you enjoy the conversations we’ve had on the show in the past or his other programs, this is another one you’re going to love. Closing With A Song “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows with Pres Maxson
In addition to the movie this week, Pres had also mentioned wanting to do this particular music video. And I have no objection to discussing Counting Crows. In fact, it was past time to do so. “Mr. Jones” really blew up and immediately grabbed your attention when it landed in 1993. Like nothing else out there, they really lit things up with August and Everything After. Being fans of the band, Pres and I journey down memory lane and also have a bit of a well rounded discussion on some of their other works as well. With only 1 more episode left, where could Space: 1999 go? Well, a kinda Tony focused episode and a bit of ridiculousness when it comes to some cheapness. Enjoy this penultimate episode of Old Space Show – Space: 1999 as Jim and I bask in the glorious suite they have to put Koenig in to save the day in “The Immunity Syndrome”. While I love to tease, hint, plant easter eggs and whatnot with the show, once in a while a guest might. And I do like to come through on those when I can. Back durin the one year celebration, Pres Maxson welcomed himself on to doing an episode about Almost Heroes. Here we are. Now, both of us admit this isn’t some sacred gem of a film, but it’s quite good and offers up some Farley good. Hanson took the world by storm with “MMMBop”, building an army of Hansonites to bop the globe with. Brought To You By Brandon & Jessica: Vintage Nintendo Commercials
During Old Teen Show: The Heights, listeners made it clear they would like to see Jessica Alsman and I discussing more vintage commercials with regularity. This time we are setting our sites on Video Games, Nintendo (NES) specifically! This was a LOT of fun to reflect on for myself and to LEARN on for Jessica, as I discovered there are some staples she wasn’t familiar with. Which, I think she shocked even herself with. But, she does know some of the classic ones and we go on some rather fun side tangents. Enjoy! Closing With A Song “Jedi Rocks” by Sy Snootles & The Max Rebo Band with Aaron Neuwirth
Yes. I save this part of the Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition discussion for its own segment. This wild addition to Return of the Jedi in 1997 was quite the choice and one I’m not sure many took to. Oddly, while Coruscant appears at the end of the film, this may be a more accurate first peek into the kind of look and vibe the Prequel Trilogy was going to carry. Aaron Neuwirth rejoins to complete this discussion of The Special Edition Trilogy. And I have to say, this is a pretty good conversation on something we both really don’t care for. But we have a pretty nice discourse on it, able to articulate our points, find an understanding of where George’s head was at and overall look this thing up and down pretty well. Old Space Show: Space: 1999 “Dorzak”
Maya meets another psychon, but other space babe aliens try to warn her that he’s not the man she once knew. Lots of groovy things this episode; Carter has a crush, Dorzaks has some interesting apparel and a spaceship interior with lovely disco sci fi aesthetic on full display! The Star Wars Special Edition Trilogy Turns 25 with Aaron Neuwirth
Probably not being roundly celebrated this year is the 25th birthday of The Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition. This event celebrating the original Star Wars at 20 was a pretty big deal. Beyond the updated special effects, unseen footage and other tinkering, it was the first time many of us were able to actually see the films in a theater on the big screen. I’m well aware that these aren’t looked back on fondly, but for me, these 3 months in 1997 were a big deal and an exciting time for myself as a Star Wars fan and a lover of cinema. It was quite exciting and I had a lot of fun recollecting and discussing these with show regular Aaron Neuwirth. This is a nice, breezy conversation that has us talking the climate and culture of the Star Wars fan at the time as well as our thoughts then versus now versus the virtual “angry online” consensus on things regarding these films. It was fun to do a Star Wars episode and I hope this was a more unique take/opinion/conversation than the routine ones you may find daily. -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (2/16) with Old Space Show TECHNICAL INFORMATION VocalsBrandon – Shure SM58-LCAaron – Unknown Microphone (Recorded with Zoom) Post ProductionNCH Wavepad Masters Edition v8.38NCH MixPad Masters v5.22The Levelator 2 RUNTIME: 82 min The Star War Trilogy: Special Edition and these particular versions discussed of Star Wars (aka Star Wars, Episode IV: A New Hope), The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were only made available on VHS.
Closing With A Song “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus with Troy Brownfield
Wheatus seems an odd choice for a Satanic Panic music video to tie into Monday’s episode. But a closer glance at the genesis of the song’s lyrics and you’ll see it is incredibly relevant to the topic. Troy Brownfield (who has seen Wheatus in concert) rejoins and we go over the song, the video, touch on the movie Loser and also dig into the actual case that brought on the inspiration for the song. This is a lengthy one, but man is it pretty great topical conversation! Old Space Show: Space: 1999 “The Séance Spectre”
This week’s episode of Space: 1999 feels oddly culturally relevant to today. “The Seance Spectre” will remind you of Q’Anon and lots of conspiracy theory nonsense that’s been traveling around the past few years. Its a pretty eye opening and entertaining piece of British Sci-Fi television from the 1970s that feels still sadly relevant today. TBPS EP 063: Products of the Panic: 60 Minutes Takes on Dungeons & Dragons (1985) with Troy Brownfield
Products of the Panic is back for its second installment. This time we look at a 60 minutes segment on the dangers of Dungeons & Dragons that aired in 1985. This irresponsible slampiece tried to prove it was driving children to commit murder or kill themselves. It’s a pretty astounding example of terrible journalism. Crazy enough, this episode wound up digging into some deeply personal territory for me. I also have all the information and facts regarding the murder/suicides they claim to have been caused by playing Dungeons & Dragons. “Products of the Panic” a recurring segment on this podcast. Show regular Troy Brownfield (The Saturday Evening Post) and I use this series to take a look at some of the media and propaganda created during the height of the Satanic Panic in the 1980s. Troy is very much an expert in the field and we’ve discussed it on more than one occasion. -Brandon The Brandon Peters Show will return Wednesday (2/9) with Old Space Show TECHNICAL INFORMATION VocalsBrandon – Shure SM58-LCTroy – Laptop Microphone (Recorded with Zoom) Post ProductionNCH Wavepad Masters Edition v8.38NCH MixPad Masters v5.22The Levelator 2 RUNTIME: 77 min The 60 Minutes with Ed Bradley segment on Dungeons & Dragons from 1985 is available on archive.org.
Closing With A Song “Yer So Bad” by Tom Petty with Jamie Alvey
It feels weird when I think how long the show has been going on and you are landing on a legend like Tom Petty for the first time, but thus is the beauty of it all. There’s a lot of ground to still cover in the Closing with a Song segment. Sadly the late rock icon passed a few years back, but he left us with so many great videos to go along with an outstanding vault of undeniably great music. I chose “Yer So Bad” because it features a cameo from Marty and Elaine, the house band from The Dresden Room in Los Feliz in California. Most notably featured in the film Swingers, Marty recently passed a week or two ago and I wanted to give this staple of Los Angeles nightlife culture a nod. Jamie Alvey is back and her love for Tom Petty led me down the hole to find one to cover on the show. We have a fun conversation about this video and once again find some very David Lynch stuff in the music video we discuss. The Brandon Peters Show will return. Old Space Show: Space: 1999 “The Lambda Factory”
I appreciate your understanding on a week of no Old Space Show, but we are back to business this week. And we have a whacky one which Jim points out is capitalizing on the ESP craze that swept the 1970s at this time. While its called “The Lambda Factor”, perhaps the “The Grouchy Factor” may have been more apt for the crew of Alpha. Let’s Scare Jessica To Death (1971) with Jamie Alvey
We are sticking around in the 1970s for a second week in a row here on the show. We are talking about an underseen cult classic horror film, Let’s Scare Jessica To Death. A very stealth vampire film, this one is super moody and a complete feel through its ambiguous narrative. Regular guest Jamie Alvey has brought the film to the table. We get into a fantastic discussion about a great many aspects of the film, from Carmilla adaptations, to mental health, technical achievements and much more. This might mark our best conversation to date. There’s some wandering off topic, but it’s actually stemming and returning to topic quite well so I left a lot of it in. Closing With A Song “You Might Think” by The Cars with Yancy Berns
We are gonna start 2022 with one of the biggest music videos of all time. The Cars “You Might Think” was a marveling achievement in the art of music video making back in 1984. The ambitious visual stunner went on to be the fist “Best Music Video” winner at the first ever MTV Video Music Awards. Yancy Berns rejoins to talk about the historic video. And unbeknownst to me when I set this one up, Yancy is a huge fan of The Cars! Clue: The VCR Mystery Game with Jessica Alsman, Sabina Graves & Greg McGoon
In lieu of my 40th Birthday this week (January 20th), I want to do something a little special for the show this week. So, I’m trying my hand at the world of podcast/YouTube game playing. I have long desired to play Clue: The VCR Mystery Game ever since it came out back in the 80s. Unfortunately, the adults around me who played deemed me too young to do so. When I was old enough, nobody wanted to play with me. I’ve hung onto this game now for many of these 40 years, hoping that one day that itch of solving a murder in Boddy Mansion would be scratched. That day has come. I found a way to pull this game off virtually and invited show regulars Jessica Alsman, Sabina Graves and Greg McGoon to hop on and play the game with me. We had a grand ‘ol time. I’ve also attempted to involve you, the viewer, in the game as well. Perhaps it works, perhaps it doesn’t. Anywho – Enjoy! This episode is YouTube only. Old Space Show: Space: 1999 “A Matter of Balance”
Tony’s brewing habit has been one of the most odd choices to have as a constant character trait on a show that rarely focuses on them. We talked about his movie last week and now he’s here to tell us about his new book. Greg McGoon is back for his fourth trip onto the show and tells us all about Once Upon A Fairy Tail, which you can purchase now on Amazon. Greg also brings a holiday fave to the table, the 2006 remake of Last Holiday starring Queen Latifah. I had not seen the film before this. And, as always with Greg, it wound up being quite a deep and thorough conversation on this little bit of screwball comedy. Definitely a film that deserves much more appreciation than it has had in the past. Closing With A Song “Truly, Madly, Deeply” by Savage Garden with Danielle Sepulveres
When choosing this video, I honestly forgot just how big of a phenomenon Savage Garden’s “Truly, Madly, Deeply” was. This song was EVERYWHERE in 1997-1998. The duo was pretty popular with their first hit, but this one conquered the entire planet! Danielle Sepulveres returns to share memories of the song, where we were when it came out and of course…get a tad off topic. An Unexpected Christmas with Danielle Sepulveres
This week’s episode has been planned for quite a while. Show regular Greg McGoon has had a Hallmark movie made based on a script that he penned. And I VERY much wanted to do an episode covering it. The perfect person to join for this discussion is the person who introduced me to Greg – Danielle Sepulveres. Danielle and I wade through our enjoyment of the film, but we do frequently go off onto some side tangents that I left in because…well…I found them entertaining and think you may just find them entertaining as well. We have a quite Can’t Hardly Wait aside and also I propose the plot of a never made Alfred Hitchcock film based on an Alexandra Daddario movie that Danielle tells me about. It’s wacky, it’s fun, it’s just another week of The Brandon Peters Show with one of my favorite guests!
