(STINGER: New Japan) Many fans probably assumed this on their own... but now, Kazuchika Okada confirms he is one of at least 7 New Japan wrestlers who tested positive for COVID-19 over the last month. In an interview with “Radio Oshabering”, Okada said he initially tested negative...after being pulled from the second Wrestling Dontaku show on May 4th. But after his fever persisted and he continued to feel unwell...he got another test and that one was positive. Okada said he’s feeling better. New Japan is running three straight dates at Korakuen Hall starting Monday. Okada is not scheduled to appear on any of those shows. COVID-19 concerns are impacting other promotions in Japan. Pro-Wrestling NOAH announced Kotaro Suzuki tested positive. He missed NOAH’s show on Sunday...along with YO-HEY, Kai Fujimura and Yasutaka Yano - who all had direct contact with Suzuki. (STINGER: WWE) The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are set to be defended on tonight’s Raw. The former champs Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler get their rematch against Natalya & Tamina. Also announced for tonight - Xavier Woods vs. Riddle. (STINGER: AEW) Two members of the New Japan roster will be in action on tonight’s Dark: Elevation. Rocky Romero will take on JD Drake...and Ren Narita has a match against Royce Isaacs. Also on the show...Ethan Page vs. Alex Reynolds...Scorpio Sky vs. Alan “5” Angels...and Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Mike Sydal. One AEW note from last week to pass along - Austin Gunn is expected to be out of action for the next 8-10 weeks following his loss last Wednesday to Anthony Ogogo. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan needs a new top champion. It announced Thursday that Will Ospreay has vacated the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship...due to a neck injury he suffered during his title defense against Shingo Takagi earlier this month. New Japan said there’s no timetable for Ospreay’s return. It’s promising further announcements on the future of its top title. New Japan is holding its first live event in nearly two weeks on Saturday in Nagoya. This will NOT be broadcast on New Japan World. The next live show from Japan on World is coming up on Monday. A No Disqualification Match is the main event on tonight’s New Japan Strong. It’s Fred Rosser vs. Hikuleo. Plus, Brody King and Karl Fredericks vs. Team Filthy’s JR Kratos & Danny Limelight...and Alex Coghlin vs. Bateman. (STINGER: WWE) It wasn’t that long ago when he was widely considered one of the brightest young stars in pro wrestling. Now, Velveteen Dream’s time in WWE is over. The former NXT North American Champion was reportedly released on Thursday. He hadn’t wrestled a match since last December. The Intercontinental Championship is on the line on tonight’s SmackDown. Apollo Crews is set to defend in a 4-Way...against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Big E. Tyler Bate is the NEW Heritage Cup Champion. He dethroned A-Kid on Thursday’s NXT UK. Bate reversed a rollup into one of his own...to score the one and only fall of the 6th round of the match. Also on the show...Amele pinned Xia Brookside...and Rampage Brown pinned Wolfgang. (STINGER: Impact) We have NEW Impact Tag Team Champions - but it’s probably not who you think. FinJuice beat Ace Austin and Madman Fulton to retain the titles on last night’s Impact. But after the match, Violent By Design made a surprise appearance. VBD’s Rhino won a “Call Your Shot” Battle Royal last October...that granted him a future title shot of his choosing...and he chose to cash in that opportunity last night. Rhino and Joe Doering quickly beat FinJuice and they are the new Impact Tag Team Champions. The Forbidden Door between Impact Wrestling and New Japan is swinging open again. Last night, Impact announced that former IWGP Heavyweight Champ Satoshi Kojima will be on next week’s show. Impact Champ Kenny Omega thought he and the Good Brothers had his next title challenger Moose cornered for an attack...but Sami Callihan ran to the ring to back up Moose. Rachael Ellering pinned Jordynne Grace with a rollup...after Grace made a surprising challenge for the match between the former Knockouts Tag Champs. Tenille Dashwood used a rollup to pin one half of the current Knockouts Tag Champs Kiera Hogan. Dashwood has her sights set on those titles...with Taylor Wilde as her partner. The only problem is that Wilde is not really on board with the plan. Rohit Raju pinned Jake Something...thanks to a big assist from Shera. After the match, Something battered Shera with a steel chair. W. Morrissey attacked Rich Swann during a backstage interview. (STINGER: ROH) The Ring Of Honor Tag Team Titles will be defended on this weekend’s ROH TV. It’s Matt Taven and Mike Bennett challenging HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus. Also on the show, a Pure Rules Match between Rocky Romero and Fred Yehi. Major League Wrestling kicked off its Open Draft Thursday night...and revealed a new signee, former Ring Of Honor World Champion Davey Richards, will be joining its roster. Richards recently announced his return to pro wrestling. He stepped away from the business in 2017. MLW says Richards will debut at their live event in Philadelphia on July 10th. Other news coming out of last night. We learned the former Dario Cueto will be known as Cesar Duran in MLW...and former Lucha Underground Champion Mil Muertes is now being called “King Muertes”. And Cezar Bononi beat Marko Stunt… (STINGER: WWE) There is a NEW NXT North American Champion. Bronson Reed. He pinned Johnny Gargano with the Tsunami inside a Steel Cage on last night’s NXT. The show opened with Zoey Stark taking on Toni Storm. Stark KICKED OUT of Storm Zero...so Toni unveiled a new finisher - that I’m not sure I can adequately describe...but I’ll try. It was sort of a 3.0 backbreaker into a DDT. Anyway...it worked. Storm got the pin. It appears Alexander Wolfe is OUT of Imperium. Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner put the boots to Wolfe after he lost to Killian Dane. Legado Del Fantasma beat Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher. Ciampa took the pin after he was attacked by the Grizzled Young Veterans. Legado Del Fantasma will challenge MSK for the NXT Tag Titles in TWO weeks. Jake Atlas used a rollup to score an upset win on Cameron Grimes. Grimes was distracted when Ted DiBiase entered the arena. Bobby Fish challenged Pete Dunne to a match next week. Billy Corgan dropped the hammer on Strictly Business on last night’s NWA Powerrr. Corgan STRIPPED Chris Adonis and Thom Lattimer of their shot at the NWA Tag Team Championship. This is the result of them walking out on their scheduled title match last week. Also, Corgan FINED the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champ Nick Aldis for orchestrating the walkout. So, there was a match to determine new Tag Title #1 Contenders last night. Jax Dane and Crimson beat Parrow and Odinson. Also on last night’s show...Da Pope successfully defended the NWA TV Title against Matt Cross. Dragon Gate has pulled both Ben-K and Naruki Doi from its King Of Gate tournament, forfeiting their remaining matches. This came after confirmation that Ben-K tested positive for COVID-19. (STINGER: WWE) New SmackDown Tag Team Champions crowned at WrestleMania Backlash. Rey & Dominik Mysterio dethroned Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode last night. They are the first father-son tag team champions in WWE history. Rey had to go it alone for much of this match...after Ziggler and Roode attacked Dominik backstage. But Dominik returned at the end and got the pin on Roode. That was the only title change last night. Roman Reigns choked out Cesaro to retain his Universal Championship. Seth Rollins showed up after the match to beat up on Cesaro. Bobby Lashley is still the WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre put Lashley through part of the stage set during the 3-Way Title Match. But Lashley emerged just in time to SPEAR Braun Strowman and pin him. Rhea Ripley dispatched Charlotte Flair long enough to hit Asuka with the Riptide and pin her to retain her Raw Women’s Championship. Bianca Belair used a rollup to pin Bayley and retain her SmackDown Women’s Title. Damian Priest beat The Miz in a Lumberjack Match. The lumberjacks...were zombies. True story. On the kickoff show, Ricochet answered Sheamus’ U.S. Title open challenge...and lost. BUT Ricochet did steal Sheamus’ hat and jacket after the match and ran away. The next pay per view is Hell In A Cell on Sunday, June 20th. NXT is now promoting that Ted DiBiase will appear in-person at the Capitol Wrestling Center on Tuesday night’s show. (STINGER: Impact) FinJuice will defend their Impact Tag Team Championships on Thursday night’s Impact Wrestling. The challengers will be Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. They won a 4-Way #1 Contenders Match on Saturday night’s Under Siege show. The new #1 Contender for Kenny Omega’s Impact World Championship is Moose. He won a 6-Way Match at Under Siege. Jon Moxley showed up at GCW’s Draft Day show over the weekend...to confront and brawl with Nick Gage. Gage had just defeated AJ Gray to retain his GCW Championship. Another Japanese promotion is dealing with COVID-19 concerns. Dragon Gate pulled Ben-K, Naruki Doi and Dragon Dia from shows over the weekend. Dragon Gate announced Ben-K and Dragon Dia were found to have slight fevers. Dragon Gate said it’s awaiting test results on all three before allowing them to return to action. All this is happening in the middle of their King Of Gate tournament. It’ll cost Doi at least one match. He was forced to forfeit his tournament match against Kota Minoura. A fearless, aggressive and controversial performer…New Jack is not easy to summarize. He was a constant during the peak of ECW”s national popularity. He was also involved in some of the most notorious incidents of pro wrestling’s past quarter-century. New Jack rose to national fame in ECW during violent, weapons-filled matches. He won the ECW Tag Team Championship on three occasions. After the collapse of ECW, New Jack wrestled for another 20 years - including a brief run during the early years of TNA. New Jack died suddenly on Friday at his home in North Carolina. “New Jack” Jerome Young was 58. (STINGER: Impact) Impact presents Under Siege tonight. She had a seconds-long reign as 24/7 Champion. Roman Reigns interrupted last night’s main event between Cesaro and Jimmy Uso. Jimmy was not happy with Reigns about that. Rey Mysterio used a small package to pin Dolph Ziggler. King Corbin reversed an armbar to pin Shinsuke Nakamura. After the match, Nakamura STOLE King Corbin’s CROWN! (STINGER: New Japan) Team Filthy won an 8-Man Elimination Tag in the main event of last night’s New Japan Strong. It was Chris Dickinson sealing the win for Team Filthy. After the match, Team Filthy TURNED on Dickinson. This is in retaliation for Dickinson publicly challenging Lawlor to defend the Strong Openweight Championship against him. Dickinson eliminated Clark Conners to seal the win. Conners is a Young Lion no more. He debuted new ring gear and his own entrance theme. By the way, Karl Fredericks was the one to eliminate Lawlor from the match. Also on last night’s show, Fred Rosser & Lio Rush beat El Phantasmo & Hikuleo. Rush PINNED ELP. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor is bringing back its “Survival Of The Fittest” tournament. It was last held back in 2018. The encouraging news for pro wrestling companies in Japan is that the ban on spectators at large sporting events will be scaled back. Attendance will be capped at 5,000 people - or 50% of the venue’s capacity. That would be good news for pro wrestling companies, including New Japan - which has a major show in Tokyo Dome on May 29th. Salina de la Renta is leaving MLW. Her final appearance was on last Wednesday’s Fusion...when she crossed paths on-screen with the “El Jefe” of Azteca Underground. The man known in Lucha Underground as “Dario Cueto” will get a new name, according to MLW’s Court Bauer. (Bauer On Cueto Name) Bauer speaking with Post Wrestling’s John Pollock. Their names are NOT being released. New Japan says other wrestlers and staff who were in contact with the individuals are being monitored...and tested. The COVID-19 concerns began just before the second Wrestling Dontaku show on Tuesday. That’s when New Japan announced two wrestlers had developed fevers. New Japan canceled El Desperado’s scheduled Junior Heavyweight Title defense against YOH. It also pulled a tag match where Kazuchika Okada & SHO were set to face Minoru Suzuki & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Again, the names of the wrestlers who tested positive for COVID are NOT being released. We should also point out that the Wrestle Grand Slam show at Yokohama Stadium is 10 days away. Turning our attention back to the wrestling ring, Will Ospreay successfully defended his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, pinning Shingo Takagi in a nearly 45-minute main event on Tuesday. (STINGER: AEW) More than a year after AEW first announced “Blood & Guts”...the match will finally happen tonight on Dynamite. The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle will do battle under traditional “Wargames” rules. Also tonight, there’s a 4-way tag team match for a shot at the Young Bucks’ tag tiles - SCU vs. Jurassic Express vs. the Varsity Blondes vs. The Acclaimed. Francis took out Ruff at the end of the match. The former Anthony Henry made his NXT debut under his new name, Asher Hale. He lost to Cameron Grimes. Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher beat the Grizzled Young Veterans. Thatcher submitted Zack Gibson after Thatcher got a hold of Wade Barrett’s shoe and hit Gibson square in the head with it. An in-ring promo by Karrion Kross was interrupted first by Kyle O’Reilly...then Pete Dunne..and finally the returning Finn Balor. All four men brawled. Mexico’s AAA promotion is setting up some big interpromotional matches. Andrade El Idolo showed up during their Rey De Reyes show over the weekend. In a prerecorded video, he challenged Kenny Omega to defend the AAA Mega Championship against him...at TripleMania. A date for that show has not been announced. Also at Rey De Reyes, Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo appeared in person...and she challenged AAA’s new women’s champ Faby Apache to a “winner takes all” Title vs. Title Match...also at TripleMania. Apache had just won the vacant title in a multi-woman match. A surprise entrant was a recast version of Sexy Star - now portrayed by Hija de Gatubela. Laredo Kid won the Rey De Reyes itself. Black Taurus won the vacant AAA Latin American Championship. And we saw the debut of a new stable called La Empresa - Puma King, Diamante Azul and Sam Adonis - posing as invaders from rival promotion, CMLL. (STINGER: WWE) Not much announced for tonight’s Raw as of Sunday night. We do know the Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos are promising to appear on the show. It’ll be their first time on Raw since they won the belts back at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan’s profile on WWE.com was moved to the “alumni” section over the weekend. Bryan is now BANISHED from SmackDown after he lost a Universal Title match to Roman Reigns on Friday. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan is holding the first of its two Wrestling Dontaku shows this morning. Hiroshi Tanahashi is putting his NEVER Title on the line in the main event against Jay White. Tuesday’s show…has Will Ospreay defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event...against Shingo Takagi. Also, El Desperado defends the Jr. Heavyweight Championship against YOH. Meanwhile, All Japan is holding the final show of its Champion Carnival today. (STINGER: WWE) A high stakes main event on tonight’s SmackDown...Roman Reigns defending his Universal Title against Daniel Bryan. If Bryan loses, he is GONE from SmackDown. Another title match tonight - Big E gets his rematch...as he challenges Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship. On Thursday’s NXT UK… The announcement of an upcoming five-woman gauntlet match - Jinny vs. Isla Dawn vs. Xia Brookside vs. Dani Luna vs. Emilia McKenzie. The winner gets the next shot at Kay Lee Ray’s Women’s Championship. Also on the show, Meiko Satomura beat Aoife Valkyrie...Gallus beat Eddie Dennis, Primate and T-Bone...and Teoman beat Rohan Raja...via referee stoppage. We also learned that A-Kid will defend his Heritage Cup Title against Tyler Bate...in THREE weeks. (STINGER: Impact) Better late than never for Kenny Omega. On last night’s Impact, Scott D’Amore threatened to STRIP Omega of his newly won Impact World Championship - and suspend him - if Omega didn’t appear in-person on the show. Omega arrived with minutes to spare - and just in time for he and the Good Brothers to run in on the main event between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards - a qualifying match for a 6-Way #1 Contender’s Match for Omega’s Impact Championship. Juice Robinson and David Finlay quickly followed to join the fight. Impact later clarified on Twitter that Callihan won the match via disqualification. So, he qualifies for the #1 Contender’s Match at the Impact Plus exclusive show Under Siege. Also qualifying last night - Chris Bey, who beat Jake Something - with an assist from Rohit Raju...and Matt Cardona, who avenged his loss at Rebellion to Brian Myers. Three more qualifying matches are set for next week - Rohit Raju vs. Trey Miguel, Rhino vs. Chris Sabin, and Moose vs. James Storm. Getting back to Edwards, he’s still heading to Under Siege. Impact announced he’ll be in a 6-Man Tag alongside FinJuice to take on Omega and the Good Brothers. Also announced last night for Under Siege - Fire n’ Flava getting their rematch for the Knockouts Tag Titles against Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering. Plus, Willie Mack has challenged W. Morrissey to a match at Under Siege. Another New Japan wrestler is stepping through the Forbidden Door...and into Impact Wrestling. El Phantasmo will be on next week’s episode. Getting back to last night’s show...Josh Alexander submitted Ace Austin to retain the X-Division Title...and former Knockouts Champ Taylor Wilde returned to the ring for the first time in a decade...with a submission win over Kimber Lee. A title change Pro-Wrestling NOAH. There is a NEW GHC National Champion. Takashi Sugiura dethroned Kazuyuki Fujita on Thursday’s “NOAH The Glory” show. The main event saw Keiji Muto use a blitz of Shining Wizards to pin Masa Kitamiya and retain the GHC Heavyweight Title. After the match, Muto was challenged by Naomichi Marufuji...and that match is now set for the Cyber Fight Festival on June 6th. One other note from Thursday’s show. Yoshinari Ogawa and HAYATA are still the GHC Jr. Tag Team Champs. They fought off a challenge from Ikuto Hidaka and NOSAWA. (STINGER: New Japan) Tonight’s New Japan Strong is an “LA Dojo Showcase”. The main event is Karl Fredericks vs. Clark Connors. Also, Ren Narita & Fred Rosser vs. Kevin Knight & Alex Coghlin...and The DKC vs., TJP. Back in Japan, there was a New Japan show in Kagoshima on Thursday...with Kota Ibushi’s first match since he lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Title to Will Ospreay. Ibushi tagged with Hiroshi Tanahashi...and beat Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare. Ibushi pinned Henare. After the match, Ibushi challenged Cobb to a singles match. It appears that will happen at the Yokohama Stadium show on May 15th. Shinjiro Ohtani will miss his final two matches in All Japan’s Champion Carnival tournament...due to a broken right arm. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight’s NXT is promoting the first interview with Adam Cole since TakeOver. Bronson Reed faces Austin Theory. If Reed wins, he gets another shot at Johnny Gargano’s North American Title. Also, Mercedes Martinez vs. Dakota Kai...and Kushida & MSK vs. Legado Del Fantasma The WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash...is now a 3-Way. Bobby Lashley will now defend against Drew McIntyre AND Braun Strowman. Strowman earned his place in the match by pinning McIntyre in the main event of last night’s Raw. A distraction by T-Bar and Mace gave Strowman the opening he needed. The show opened with T-Bar & Mace beating McIntyre & Strowman via countout...after McIntyre hit Strowman with an errant clothesline. Strowman hit McIntyre with a powerslam after the match. One week after Charlotte Flair suspended indefinitely, and fined, for attacking a referee...she was BACK on Raw. She apologized to the ref she pummeled...and after some prodding the ref apologized to Charlotte. Sonya Deville was on hand for all of this and she lifted Charlotte's suspension. This was apparently ALL news to Adam Pearce. Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler beat Asuka, Naomi and Lana. Jax pinned Lana. Earlier in the match, Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose strolled out...threw water at Baszler...which led to Jax slipping on the wet floor. All this in retaliation for Jax throwing flowers at Brooke & Rose earlier. Deville decided to punish her former tag partner Rose with a match against Charlotte Flair. And Charlotte pinned Mandy with Natural Selection to win that match. I guess R-K-Bro is gonna be a thing. Riddle and Randy Orton teamed up to beat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Damien Priest, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods pelted The Miz, John Morrison, Elias and Jaxson Ryker with tomatoes...then won a trios match against them Humberto Carrillo was back on Raw to once again get in the face of the United States Champion Sheamus. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan joined other promotions Monday...in calling off some shows due to a new COVID-19 state of emergency in parts of Japan. Three shows at Korakuen Hall scheduled for May 8th, 10th & 11th are now canceled. New Japan has a big show on Wednesday - with Roppongi 3K defending the Jr. Tag Titles in the main event...against El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Also, Toru Yano will defend the KOPW 2021 provisional title against EVIL. It’ll be a Creation Of Darkness Blindfold Match. Blindfolds/hoods will be hung on each ring post. A decision can not be scored until you use one to blindfold your opponent. A couple big singles matches on the Road To Wrestling Dontaku on Monday. It was a good day for Los Ingobernables De Japon. Tetsuya Naito delivered THREE Destinos to pin Great-O-Khan in the main event. And, SANADA pinned Aaron Henare after a TKO and a pair of moonsaults. (STINGER: AEW) Some fresh faces on tonight’s Dark...including former Lucha Underground Champion Marty Casaus (ka-SAUCE) making his AEW debut against Brian Cage. Also, The Blade & Private Party vs. Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & 10. On last night’s Dark: Elevation...Big Swole & Red Velvet beat the dysfunctional team of Nyla Rose & Madi Wrenkowski. Rose was bullying Wrenkowski. Wrenkowski was giving Rose an attitude. Rose eventually turned on her - hitting a powerbomb on Wrenkowski and then just walking away. Matt Sydal pinned Joey Janela in the main event. Also, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky beat Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds and Alan “5” Angels. (STINGER: ROH) On Ring Of Honor’s weekend TV…The first outing for Violence Unlimited was a disqualification LOSS in a trios match against La Faccion Ingobernable. Brody King used a chair on Bestia Del Ring to draw the DQ. The show ended with The Foundation running out to beat up BOTH factions. Earlier, Eli Isom and Dak Draper wrestled to a 15-minute time limit draw. It looked like were gonna get 5 more minutes, but Dalton Castle arrived on the scene first - sporting a new look AND new BOYS. Castle kicked both guys in the groin to put them down...and then, danced away. Next weekend’s ROH TV will have HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams’ first defense of his TV Title...against Tony Deppen. Tonight’s NWA Powerrr has Da Pope defending the NWA TV Title against Tyrus. Major League Wrestling will debut on VICE TV this Saturday at Noon. Taylor Wilde entered the Impact Zone to save Dashwood from a a post-match beating...and take down Kimber Lee and Susan. Trey Miguel beat Sami Callihan in their Last Man Standing match. Brian Myers took advantage of a knee injury to Matt Cardona to get the pin in their showdown. On the pre-show...the makeshift team of Rosemary and Havok beat Kimber Lee and Susan. During last night’s broadcast, Impact announced three upcoming major events. An Impact Plus exclusive - Under Siege - on May 15th… Against All Odds on June 12th. Plus, the Slammiversary pay per view is coming up in July. No specific date was mentioned. The promo for Slammiversary flashed images of three former Impact stars who were recently released by WWE: Samoa Joe, Mickie James and Chelsea Green. He revealed that Wednesday in an Instagram post. He said he’s been in the hospital for 5 days and expects to remain there for a bit longer. EC3 said the issue is “an infection (he) neglected proper care for”...and he will heal. EC3 is set to headline a “Free The Narrative” pay per view event...in a match against Matt Cardona...coming up on Thursday, May 27th. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight’s Impact is the last stop before Sunday’s Rebellion pay per view - and the big Title vs. Title main event between Kenny Omega and Rich Swann. We’ll get some final words from both men. Also, we’ll see the Good Brothers vs. Decay...Eddie Edwards vs. Eric Young...and Shera vs. Jake Something. (STINGER: AEW) A pair of title matches on last night’s Dynamite... Hikaru Shida pinned Tay Conti to retain her AEW Women’s Championship. Dr. Britt Baker was out after the match to reveal SHE is now on top of the rankings of contenders for Shida’s title. In last night’s main event...Darby Allin held onto his TNT Championship. He used the Last Supper to hold down Jungle Boy for the pin. During the match, Sting traded punches with Luchasaurus...and that tussle spilled down one of the entrance tunnels. After the match, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky ran out to beat up Allin and Jungle Boy. Page hit Allin with the Ego’s Edge. Lance Archer came out. Page and Sky beat him up too. Sting returned and that was enough to get rid of Page and Sky.. The show opened with Hangman Page SUBMITTING Ricky Starks - cinching up his head and ankle to get the tap out. Earlier in the match, Starks under-rotated while flipping out of a German suplex and landed on the back of his neck. Starks later tweeted that he’s “good”. Team Taz jumped Page after the match, but Dark Order quickly ran out for the save. Penta El Zero Miedo beat Trent. Penta’s translater Alex Abrahantes got physically involved in this match - taking advantage of a distracted referee...and hitting Trent in the head with a microphone, allowing Penta to finish him off. QT Marshall pinned Billy Gunn. This was a wild one. Marshall’s student Nick Comoroto brawled with Gunn’s sons at ringside. As that was happening, Anthony Ogogo snuck out...and one punch to the midsection of Billy Gunn led to a Cutter from QT...and the pin. Marshall was looking for more after the match - but he was run off by Dustin Rhodes, who was armed with a bull rope. Rhodes settled for smashing a wooden chair over the head of Comoroto. Christian Cage hit the Killswitch and pinned Powerhouse Hobbs. The Elite spent most of the night in their new personal trailer. So, of course, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston showed up and rammed it with a pickup truck. (STINGER: WWE) WWE will report its first quarter earnings today. There will also be a conference call starting at 5PM Eastern with Vince McMahon, Nick Khan and others addressing investors. Moustache Mountain reunites on today’s NXT UK. Tyler Bate and Trent Seven team up to face Noam Dar and Sha Samuels. Also on the show...Joe Coffey vs. Eddie Dennis. Any comeback plans for Ronda Rousey in WWE will have to wait. On Wednesday, Rousey announced she’s pregnant. She and her husband Travis Browne said the due date is in September. (STINGER: New Japan) A stipulation was added to the upcoming match between Zack Sabre Jr. and Tanga Loa. If Sabre wins, he and Taichi get a tag title shot against the Guerillas Of Destiny. But if Tanga Loa wins, Sabre and Taichi can never again challenge for those titles. That match is at the Wrestling Dontaku show on May 3rd. (STINGER: ROH) Ian Riccaboni confirmed a report by Fightful that he re-signed with Ring Of Honor. Riccaboni said he signed the deal “during the early stages” of the COVID-19 pandemic. Major League Wrestling’s Court Bauer delivering some news on last night’s Fusion. He announced MLW is getting back on the road...holding hold its first event in front of LIVE fans in over a year. It’s gonna be on July 10th...in Philadelphia, at the 2300 Arena - the former ECW Arena. Myron Reed will get his rematch for the MLW Middleweight Title now held by Lio Rush on Fusion on May 5th. An upset in the main event of last night’s Fusion - Bu Ku Dao used a flying, spinning flatliner from the second rope...to pin TJP. Also last night, Rocky Romero submitted Gino Medina. On last night’s Dark...Max Caster from The Acclaimed used a steel chain to steal a win over Dark Order’s Alan “5” Angels. (STINGER: WWE) Cameron Grimes’ investments went bust on last night’s NXT. First, Kyle O’Reilly rejected Grimes’ overtures. Then, he LOST to O’Reilly in the main event. And on top of all that, Grimes learned he lost a bid on an NFT...to Ted DiBiase! Sarray won her in-ring debut, pinning Zoey Stark after hitting a Saito Suplex. Sarray and Stark were having a nice moment of sportsmanship after the match, but Toni Storm interrupted that...and took down Stark. The new Cruiserweight Champion Kushida issued an open challenge. It was answered by Oney Lorcan. Kushida submitted Lorcan. After the match, Kushida was jumped by Legado Del Fantasma. MSK ran in for the rescue. (STINGER: ROH) The revival of Ring Of Honor’s women’s division begins next week. ROH announced it’ll present a new women’s match every Wednesday on its YouTube channel, starting NEXT Wednesday.
