(STINGER: ROH) Uncertainty surrounds the future of Ring Of Honor. On Wednesday, ROH announced that it will go on hiatus following the Final Battle pay per view on December 11th. ROH released a statement saying it needs to “make changes” to its business operations...and “will be taking the first quarter of 2022 to work internally to reimagine ROH.” ROH said it anticipates “returning to live events in April 2022”. The Wrestling Observer, Fightful and other outlets are reporting that ALL talent are being released from their contracts. Wrestlers currently on the ROH roster are already making themselves available for bookings. ROH World Champion Bandido quickly announced three dates for GCW in December. ROH also announced Wednesday that “technical difficulties” will mean this weekend’s ROH TV will be a rerun of a past episode featuring classic matches of Jay Lethal. The special Halloween episode of ROH TV that was being promoted will premiere on ROH’s YouTube on October 31st at 7PM Eastern. (STINGER: AEW) THREE new matches are now announced for AEW’s Full Gear pay per view. The Lucha Brothers will defend the AEW Tag Titles against FTR. The Inner Circle and American Top Team will meet in a Minneapolis Street Fight. The Inner Circle will get to choose which members of American Top Team they’ll face...thanks to TNT Champion Sammy Guevara beating Ethan Page on last night’s Dynamite. Also added to Full Gear, MJF vs. Darby Allin. Allin returned to AEW TV on last night’s Dynamite. MJF escaped the ambush, but Wardlow took a shot to the back from Allin’s thumbtack skateboard. Also last night, Hikaru Shida got some revenge, her 50th win in AEW...and advanced in the TBS Championship tournament by beating Serena Deeb. But Deeb used a steel chair to attack Shida’s knee after the match. Jon Moxley made quick work of Dark Order’s 10 to advance in the World Title Eliminator Tournament. Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, and Colt Cabana beat The Elite’s Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks. Halloween costumes were worn by all the compatents. The Elite were dressed as the Ghostbusters...with someone dressed up as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. You’d think it was one of The Elite’s lackeys - but NO! He revealed himself to be Hangman Page...and not long after that...John Silver pinned Matt Jackson for the win. CM Punk pinned Bobby Fish with the Go 2 Sleep. Cody Rhodes was confronted during an in-ring segment by Andrade El Idolo...and Malakai Black. Pac showed up to even the odds. A match announced for Friday’s Rampage: Dante Martin & Lio Rush vs. the Sydal Brothers...will now be just Dante Martin vs. Matt Sydal. The explanation for the change is that Mike Sydal is injured. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight’s Impact Wrestling has an X-Division Title match: Trey Miguel defending against Rocky Romero. Also tonight...Ace Austin vs. Chris Sabin...Joe Doering vs. Heath...and Tasha Steelz vs. Rachael Ellering... (STINGER: WWE) Tyler Bate defends the Heritage Cup Championship against Noam Dar on today’s NXT UK. Also announced for today’s episode...Mark Coffey vs. Rohan Raja. Ring announcer Greg Hamilton confirmed Wednesday that he’s no longer in WWE. He called it a “mutual respect departure”. TWO first round matches in the Opera Cup tournament on Wednesday’s MLW Fusion Alpha: Bobby Fish beat Lee Moriarty...and TJP beat Alex Shelley. nZo - the former Enzo Amore in WWE - will make his MLW debut against Matt Cross at MLW’s show in Philadelphia on November 6th. (STINGER: WWE) WWE is promoting a tag title match for tonight’s Raw. Randy Orton & Riddle defending in a Crown Jewel rematch against AJ Styles & Omos. Tonight’s Raw is the first with the new post-Draft rosters now in effect. (STINGER: AEW) A new match is announced for AEW’s Full Gear pay per view. Dr. Britt Baker will defend the AEW Women’s Championship against Tay Conti. Lance Archer tweeted “I’ll live” after a scary landing on Saturday night’s Dynamite. Archer under-rotated on a top rope moonsault and landed headfirst Archer rolled out of the ring where he consulted with a ringside doctor. Moments later, Eddie Kingston rolled him up for the pin and advanced in the World Title Eliminator Tournament. Kingston will meet Bryan Danielson in the tournament semifinals on next Friday’s Rampage. Danielson advanced by choking out Dustin Rhodes with a guillotine on Saturday night’s Dynamite. Ruby Soho beat Penelope Ford in the first round of the TBS Championship Tournament. She’ll face Kris Statlander in the second round. Also on Saturday’s Dynamite, Cody Rhodes used a Tiger Driver ‘98 to pin Malakai Black in a bloody main event…that also saw Andrade El Idolo and Pac brawl on the entrance ramp, and Arn Anderson deliver a spinebuster to Andrade’s assistant Jose. Bobby Fish beat Anthony Greene...and continued the beating after the match until CM Punk ran off Fish. Jungle Boy smoked Brandon Cutler. But after the match the Young Bucks and Adam Cole attacked Jungle Boy and threw him off the stage and through a table. MJF laid out Sting during an in-ring confrontation...as Darby Allin’s whereabouts remain unknown. And Tony Nese was shown watching the show from the crowd. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan’s Road To Power Struggle tour got underway on Sunday. G1 winner Kazuchika Okada showed up - not with the traditional contract-carrying briefcase - but with the old IWGP Heavyweight Title Belt. The belt has not been seen since the introduction of the new IWGP WORLD Heavyweight Championship currently held by Shingo Takagi. Sunday’s show also saw the return of Aaron Henare. He tagged with Great-O-Khan as they beat Satoshi Kojima & Toru Yano. On Saturday’s New Japan Strong...Juice Robinson beat Hikuleo in a Texas Bullrope Match.. Will Ospreay and the newest member of the United Empire TJP beat Karl Fredericks & Clark Connors. TJP pinned Connors.. And Chris Dickinson & IWGP Jr. Champ Robbie Eagles beat Bullet Club’s El Phantasmo & Chris Bey. Eagles forced Bey to tap out to the Ron Miller Special. (STINGER: Impact) New champions crowned at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay per view Saturday night. Josh Alexander beat Christian Cage in the main event to win the Impact World Championship. But Alexander’s title reign was over within minutes. The celebration was cut off by Moose. He immediately challenged and pinned Alexander while his wife and child were still in the ring. Moose won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match earlier in the night to earn the title shot. Mickie James ended Deonna Purrazzo’s 343-day reign as Knockouts Champion. The IInspiration - Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay - won the Knockouts Tag Titles in their Impact debut, dethroning Decay. Trey Miguel won the vacant X-Divison Championship. He pinned El Phantasmo to win a 3-Way over ELP and Steve Maclin. Jordynne Grace won a 6-Way on the Countdown To Glory pre-show to become Impact’s first Digital Media Champion. The Good Brothers are still the Impact Tag Champs. They survived the 3-Way against FinJuice and Bullet Club’s Chris Bey & Hikuleo. Karl Anderson pinned Bey. Heath & Rhino beat Violent By Design’s Deaner & Joe Doering. Deaner took the pin. Impact’s next pay per view will be Hard To Kill on January 8th in Dallas, Texas. (STINGER: New Japan) After more than a month of matches, New Japan’s G1 Climax tournament is into its final days. Kazuchika Okada battles Jeff Cobb Wednesday for the top spot in the B Block. A Block winner Kota Ibushi awaits in the tournament final on Thursday. (STINGER: WWE) The 3-Way NXT Women’s Tag Title Match on next Tuesday’s Halloween Havoc special will be a “Scareway To Hell” ladder match. One-half of the champs, Io Shirai, got to Spin The Wheel and Make The Deal for that stipulation last night. She earned the chance to spin it after she pinned Persia Pirotta last night. Toxic Attraction’s Jayce Jane was also in that 3-Way preview of next week’s title match, but Jane was injured after she came up short on a dive to the outside and she did not finish the match. As of early Wednesday morning there’s no official update on how she’s doing. A new title match is now added to Halloween Havoc. MSK will defend the NXT Tag Titles against Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner. This will be the third Spin The Wheel Make The Deal match on the show. Barthel & Aichner beat the Creed Brothers on last night’s NXT. Aichner rolled up Julius Creed for the pin. Creed was distracted after Kushida and Ikemen Jiro attacked the rest of The Diamond Mine at ringside. LA Knight will be the host of Halloween Havoc. He had to beat Grayson Waller last night to earn that gig. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa & his title challenger at Halloween Havoc, Bron Breakker, got along just long enough to beat the Grizzled Young Veterans. After the match, Omega tweeted “Ain’t gonna be no rematch.” Dr. Britt Baker is STILL the AEW Women’s Champion. She submitted Ruby Soho with the Lockjaw in last night’s Dynamite main event. Also, Malakai Black used GREEN MIST to steal a win over Cody Rhodes, who had Brandi Rhodes back in his corner… Darby Allin & Sting beat FTR… And MJF beat Brian Pillman Jr. Matches for Friday’s special 2-hour Rampage were also recorded last night. Next Wednesday’s Dynamite will have Miro defending the TNT Championship against Sammy Guevara. New Japan announced earlier this week that he withdrew and forfeited his remaining matches due to a left knee injury - specifically damage to the meniscus and MCL. After the match, Fredericks called out Will Ospreay. Ospreay answered and that led to a brawl between the two. RevPro held an eventful show on Sunday. Will Ospreay beat Ricky Knight Jr. to claim sole possession of the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship. After the match, the tag team Aussie Open joined Ospreay’s United Empire faction. Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 7 will be held on October 22nd, with Marina Shafir already announced for the show. Shafir was released by WWE back in June. Tommaso Ciampa pinned LA Knight last night to win a 4-Way for the vacant title...that also included Pete Dunne...and Von Wagner - the son of Wayne Bloom. He was added to the match after Dunne and Ridge Holland attacked Kyle O’Reilly backstage. Last night’s show ended with Ciampa having a backstage staredown with another newcomer - Bron Breakker - who is the son of Rick Steiner. Breakker opened the show in an impromptu match against LA Knight, and Breakker got the win, pinning Knight with a powerslam. A new tag team debuted last night - Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen - a recent signee, who is the son of Bull Buchanan. They lost to Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner. Carmelo Hayes now has a friend watching his back - Trick Williams...and together, they beat up on Duke Hudson. Trick is Matrick Belton, a recent PC signee with a football background. Ivy Nile debuted as part of The Diamond Mine. Nile is Emily Andzulis, who was signed after she competed on NBC’s The Titan Games. We got a vignette for another newcomer, Tony D’Angelo - who is Joe Ariola, a former amateur wrestling standout at the University at Buffalo. D’Angelo was shown walking the streets of Chicago and it appears he will portray a very Italian character. Hit Row’s B-Fab made her NXT in-ring debut...with a win over Katrina Cortez. Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jayce Jayne beat Sarray, Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro. Rose pinned Carter after a running knee strike.
