(STINGER: WWE) Tonight’s RAW is promoting the finals in the RK-Bronament. It’s the Street Profits vs. Rey & Dominik Mysterio. The winner gets a shot at the RAW Tag Titles held by Randy Orton & Riddle. Bayley offered a brief update on her recovery from major knee surgery. During a charity live stream on Instagram, she said her “knee is doing great” and she’ll be “coming back soon”. (STINGER: AEW) Chris Jericho says he’s been ordered by doctors not to sing…due to unspecified medical issues that landed him in a hospital in the United Kingdom last week. His band Fozzy had to cancel tour dates in the UK. But they did hold a Fan Fest in London on Sunday with Jericho in attendance. Tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation has Tony Nese vs. Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds. Plus, Santana & Ortiz vs. Mike Verna & Anthony Gangone, who will have Prince Nana in their corner. (STINGER: ROH) Jonathan Gresham is the NEW - and perhaps the last - Ring Of Honor World Champion. He beat Jay Lethal in the main event of Saturday night’s Final Battle pay-per-view. Gresham was presented the original ROH World Title belt. The Briscoes beat The OGK to win the ROH Tag Titles. After the match, FTR made a surprise appearance and got into a big brawl with The Briscoes. That was not the only surprise Saturday night. After Brody King, Tony Deppen, Homicide & Rocky Romero beat HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams, Taylor Rust, Eli Isom & EC3, EC3 took the mic, went on a brief rant and then introduced Adam Scherr - the former Braun Strowman. Scherr stormed into the arena…alongside Westin Blake and Fodder. They laid waste to Isom, Dak Draper and Brian Johnson. It ended with Scherr carrying an unconscious Isom out of the arena. Rok-C beat Willow to retain the ROH Women’s Championship. After the match, Impact Wrestling’s Deonna Purrazzo entered to confront Rok-C. Purrazzo pitched a Winner Takes All match between her and Rok-C, in which Purrazzo would put her AAA Reina De Reinas Championship on the line…AND the Knockouts Championship she expects to win from Mickie James at Impact’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view next month. Rhett Titus won the ROH Television Title, dethroning Dalton Castle. Titus pinned Silas Young to win a 4-Way that also included Joe Hendry. Josh Woods beat Brian Johnson to retain the Pure Title. Shane Taylor beat Kenny King in a Fight Without Honor. The show opened with Dragon Lee beating Rey Horus. The pay-per-view ended with a video promising that a new era will begin in April of next year. On the Hour One pre-show… The Righteous won the ROH 6-Man Tag Titles from the Soldiers Of Savagery & O’Shay Edwards. Plus, The Allure & Miranda Alize beat Chelsea Green & The Hex. Mandy Leon pinned Marti Belle. Also, The Bouncers, World Famous CB, Flip Gordon & PJ Black beat LSG, Demonic Flamita, Will Ferrara, Sledge & Max the Impaler. LSG took the pin. Ring Of Honor’s lead commentator Ian Riccaboni revealed Sunday that he will be on commentary for New Japan’s show in Seattle on January 15th. But he’s not done with ROH just yet. Riccaboni told the Pro Wrestling Boom podcast he’s under contract with Ring Of Honor through March of next year. (STINGER: New Japan) The finals are set in New Japan’s World Tag League and Best Of The Super Juniors tournaments. The World Tag League final will have Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI vs. EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi from Bullet Club’s House Of Torture. EVIL & Takahashi earned their spot in the final by beating Tetsuya Naito & SANADA on Sunday…while Goto & YOSHI-HASHI punched their ticket with a win over the IWGP Tag Champs Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. The Best Of Super Juniors final will be Hiromu Takahashi vs. YOH. YOH beat SHO on Saturday…and Takahashi beat Robbie Eagles. El Phantasmo played spoiler by beating the IWGP Jr. Champ El Desperado. BOTH tournament finals will be held on Wednesday. Stardom’s match on Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom 16 on January 5th…will be Mayu Iwatani & Starlight Kid vs. Tam Nakano & Saya Kamitani. On Saturday night’s New Japan Strong…Tomohiro Ishii beat Brody King. Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & TJP beat Karl Fredericks, Ren Narita & Clark Connors. Cobb pinned Fredericks. The news comes less than a week after an incident at a weekend house show in Texas, where Hardy left the ringside area mid-match by exiting through the crowd. Hardy retweeted a tweet by his wife Beth Thursday, that read “Jeff is good. We are good.” Jeff Hardy was being promoted for a tag team match on tonight’s SmackDown. Obviously, that will not be happening. But WWE announced Thursday that the RAW Tag Champs Randy Orton & Riddle will be on tonight’s show. They’ll be in a 3-Way Match against the Smackdown Tag Champs The Usos AND King Woods & Kofi Kingston. Plus, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Toni Storm in a non-title match…Naomi vs. Sonya Deville…and the SmackDown debut of Xia Li. Tonight’s 205 Live has the in-ring debut of Lash Legend. There are new tag team champions in NXT UK. Moustache Mountain dethroned Pretty Deadly on Thursday’s show. That makes Tyler Bate the first Triple Crown Champion in NXT UK. Also on Thursday’s show, Blair Davenport beat Emilia McKenzie…and Sam Gradwell beat Sha Samuels. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor World Champion Bandido will NOT be part of Saturday’s Final Battle pay-per-view. He was pulled from the show after testing positive for COVID-19. Bandido was set to defend the ROH Title against Jonathan Gresham. It sounds like he will be stripped of the gold and Gresham will face someone else for the title. Nothing official had been announced as of Thursday night. A new match was added to Final Battle: The Hex - Allysin Kay & Marti Belle - plus, Chelsea Green vs. Angelina Love, Mandy Leon & Miranda Alize. In addition to Final Battle, this weekend’s ROH TV has PCO vs. Sledge in a Falls Count Anywhere Match…EC3 vs. Eli Isom…and Chelsea Green vs. Miranda Alize. (STINGER: AEW) Chris Jericho was hospitalized in the United Kingdom on Thursday. He’s on tour with Fozzy, but their show in Wales scheduled for Friday is now canceled. The venue explained that Jericho was “hospitalized due to a non-COVID-19 health issue that can be treated.” The AEW Tag Team Titles are on the line on tonight’s Rampage. The Lucha Brothers defend against FTR. Also tonight, it’s time to SEND HOOK. The son of Taz makes his in-ring debut against Fuego Del Sol. Plus, Adam Cole vs. Wheeler Yuta…and Ruby Soho, Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs. Nyla Rose, The Bunny & Penelope Ford. (STINGER: Impact) New matches are set for Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, including Josh Alexander vs. JONAH. Also, the lineup is set for the women’s Ultimate X Match at Hard To Kill: Rosemary, Jordynne Grace, Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Rachael Ellering, and Lady Frost, who has now officially signed with Impact. Frost also beat Kimber Lee on last night’s Before The Impact. Getting back to the main show last night… Eric Young won a Street Fight against Rhino, Deonna Purrazzo & Matthew Rehwoldt beat Knockouts Champion Mickie James & Chris Sabin. Purrazzo pinned James…with a little help from Rehwoldt. Matt Cardona beat W. Morrissey via disqualification. And FinJuice beat The Learning Tree’s VSK & Zicky Dice. This week’s episode of MLW Fusion Alpha premiered on its YouTube channel on Thursday. There are new MLW Tag Team Champions! 5150 - Slice Boogie & Rivera - ended the reign of Los Parks. Also on the show, NZO won his MLW debut over Matt Cross. Arez beat Aramis…and was rewarded with a briefcase full of cash. And Alex Hammerstone was attacked backstage by Matanza Duran…and they brawled basically all over the place. (STINGER: New Japan) There is now a three-way tie for the top spot in New Japan’s World Tag League tournament. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI beat Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare to move to 16 points. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA…and Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. kept pace with wins on Thursday to also get to 16 points. The final day of pool matches is on Sunday. Saturday is the last day of pool matches in the Best Of The Super Juniors. The top two men in the standings will advance to Wednesday’s final. Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado will enter the day tied for first at 13 points. Takahashi will face Robbie Eagles, who is one of four men just one point behind the leaders. Despy will face El Phantasmo, who is mathematically eliminated. SHO and YOH will go head to head. Both are still alive in the tournament - just a point back of the leaders. A Hall of Fame wrestler who was part of an iconic tag team…has died. Jack Lanza won singles championships during his career…but he is most famous for his time as one-half of The Blackjacks. Jim Ross noted on Twitter that Lanza was also the WWF’s lead agent backstage during the Attitude Era. Blackjack Lanza was 86. (STINGER: AEW) The Best Friends are whole once again. Trent made a dramatic return from injury during last night’s Dynamite, arriving in a minivan driven by his mom Sue. Trent ran off the SuperKliq, who were delivering a beatdown after the Young Bucks beat the tandem of Chuck Taylor & Rocky Romero. The Bucks put away Romero with the Meltzer Driver. MJF will face Dante Martin on next week’s Dynamite for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. They were the last two men left in the ring at the end of the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale last night. The last elimination came when Martin turned on Ricky Starks and tossed him out. So, Martin’s very brief tenure in Team Taz is apparently already over. Riho beat Jamie Hayter. Lesnar has been off of WWE TV since late October - when he was hit with a storyline suspension for laying out Adam Pearce. As of Thursday night, no matches are announced for Friday’s SmackDown. WWE is postponing four live event dates in Canada scheduled for next month. No reason was given. Ilja Dragunov defeated Rampage Brown via referee stoppage to retain his UK Championship. The end came when Dragunov connected with a somewhat innocuous-looking kick to Brown’s head. But it apparently rocked Brown because he stayed down and the ref called for the bell. Meiko Satomura is still the NXT UK Women’s Champion. He successfully defended her title against Xia Brookside. Also on the show, Saxon Huxley beat Kenny Williams. (STINGER: AEW) The TNT Championship is on the line on tonight’s AEW Rampage. Sammy Guevara defends against Tony Nese. FTR will face Penta El Zero Miedo & PAC. This was originally set to be an AEW Tag Title match, but Rey Fenix was pulled due to travel issues. Also tonight, Jade Cargill will be in action against Janai Kai. (STINGER: Impact) The main event for Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view is now set. It’ll be Moose defending the Impact World Title in a 3-Way...against Matt Cardona and W. Morrissey. Cardona & Eddie Edwards beat Moose & Morrissey in last night’s main event. Cardona caught Moose in a rollup and pinned the champ. After the match, Morrissey laid out Moose. That alliance is apparently OVER. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne & LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker, North American Champ Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller & Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo helped Hayes retain the North American Title on last night’s NXT. Hayes pinned Gargano to win the 3-Way main event that also included Dunne. A huge brawl followed the match, which included Breakker entering the arena and simply yelling “WarGames!” So...there you go. By the way, Ciampa beat Waller in a non-title match earlier in the show. The final participant in the women’s WarGames match was confirmed last night. It’ll be Kay Lee Ray joining Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai & Cora Jade. They’ll be facing the combo of Toxic Attraction & Dakota Kai. Jade rolled up and pinned the leader of Toxic Attraction, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, last night in a non-title match. A fan crossed the barricade and tackled Seth Rollins to the ground during last night’s RAW at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Two WWE referees immediately tried to pull the fan off Rollins, but it was at least 10 seconds before security finally intervened and allowed Rollins to get back to his feet. WWE released a statement, saying the fan was “turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." The attack happened around 9PM Eastern, after Rollins had just beaten up Finn Balor during an in-ring segment. Turning to more trivial matters from last night’s RAW. It turns out Austin Theory stole Cleopatra’s Egg during Survivor Series. Despite threats of more serious consequences, Vince McMahon rewarded Theory with a title match against WWE Champion Big E. Big E pinned Theory with the Big Ending to get the win. Two titles changed hands last night. First, Carmella & Queen Zelina are the NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They beat Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. Zelina pinned Nikki. The 24/7 Title changed hands TWICE last night. First, Cedric Alexander beat Reggie in a straight-up match. Jonah tweeted Sunday that his agreement with New Japan leaves him open for other bookings in the U.S. Chris Dickinson tweeted early Sunday that he needs “every and all positive vibes in the world right now” after he was apparently injured during his match at Battle In The Valley. New Japan pulled Dickinson from today’s tapings of New Japan Strong in Riverside, California...but offered no details on his injury. Dickinson was on Saturday night’s episode of Strong, where he lost to Minoru Suzuki. The episode featured matches recorded in Philadelphia last month. Also announced for tonight...Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner vs. Legado Del Fantasma’s Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza. A title match opened last night’s Raw. Becky Lynch grabbed a handful of tights during a rollup to pin Bianca Belair and retain the Raw Women’s Championship. WWE Champion Big E beat Kevin Owens in a non-title main event. Late in the match, E and Owens collided heads. Seth Rollins attacked E while the ref was checking on Owens. Then, Owens went for a cover...though it wasn’t clear if he saw Rollins’ attack. E managed to reverse into a crucifix pin for the win. Owens denied everything and apologized after the match. E wasn’t buying it...and he laid out Owens with the Big Ending. Queen Zelina & Carmella beat the WWE Women’s Tag Champs Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH in a non-title match. Zelina pinned Nikki with the Code Red. The United States champion Damian Priest beat T-Bar - again - in a non-title, No Disqualification Match. Austin Theory beat Rey Mysterio...after the referee caught Dominik interfering on his dad’s behalf. Rey was a little disappointed. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode beat the Street Profits. Ziggler pinned Montez Ford after a distraction by Omos. After the match, Omos laid out everyone. Finn Balor beat Chad Gable. The Miz was eliminated on last night’s “Dancing With The Stars”. (STINGER: AEW) Tony Nese makes his AEW debut on tonight’s Dark. Nese will go one-on-one against Fuego Del Sol. Also tonight...Pac vs. Tiger Ruas...and The Bunny vs. Santana Garrett. On last night’s Dark: Elevation...Emi Sakura & Nyla Rose beat Kris Statlander & Ryo Mizunami. Rose pinned Mizunami after a swanton bomb. Also, Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Wheeler Yuta beat The Acclaimed & Serpentico. Cassidy pinned Serpentico with the Orange Punch. Ring Of Honor’s Danhausen confirmed Monday he suffered a broken tibia and fibula at Next Generation Wrestling’s Halloween night show in Knoxville, Tennessee. Another big name on the independent’s, GCW regular Mance Warner, also suffered an injury during that same show. FILTHY Tom Lawlor says he is now a free agent...as he’s leaving Major League Wrestling. Lawlor is currently New Japan’s Strong Openweight Champion. Court Bauer told Digital Journal that Jeff Cobb will be part of MLW’s War Chamber show in Philadelphia coming up on Saturday night. After the match, Shotzi took out her frustrations on Sasha Banks with an extended beatdown. Shayna Baszler pinned Naomi thanks to a fast count by the special referee Sonya Deville. Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss beat Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs in a Trick Or Street Fight. Moss pinned Boogs after two masked men interfered. Also on the show, Dante Martin pinned Matt Sydal with his double springboard moonsault... And AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker rolled up and pinned Abadon to win a non-title “Trick Or Treat” - or No Disqualification - match. This match had thumbtacks, tables, steel chairs and more.
