RK-Bro is still the Raw Tag Team Champions. They beat the Street Profits last night. Randy Orton declared he and Riddle still want to challenge SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos, and unify the tag team titles. The newest member of Edge’s Judgement Day faction, Rhea Ripley, beat Liv Morgan. Another member of the group, Damian Priest, was less successful. Finn Balor beat him via disqualification when Edge blatantly interfered. That was one of several less-than-satisfying conclusions to matches last night. A United States Title match between Theory and Cody Rhodes ended in a DQ when Seth Rollins attacked Rhodes. And the main event - a non-title match between Raw Women’s Champ Bianca Belair and Asuka - was declared a “no contest” after Becky Lynch attacked both women. Ciampa pinned Mustafa Ali when special guest referee The Miz fast-counted Ali…and Veer Mahaan beat a local competitor, Hartford’s own Frank Lowman. Bobby Lashley will face Omos inside a steel cage on next Monday’s Raw. The Street Profits beat the RAW Tag Champs RK-Bro in a non-title match. The Profits orchestrated a mid-match distraction - with The Usos music playing - and that gave them the opening to get the pin on Riddle. Seth Rollins chose Cody Rhodes’ opponent for last night’s main event. It was Kevin Owens, but he wasn’t very interested in beating Rhodes. So, he ended up taking a walk and eating the count-out loss. (STINGER: WWE) WWE is set to hold its first stadium show in the United Kingdom in 30 years. It will be at the 74-thousand seat Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Sunday, September 3. WWE has an unspecified “premium live event” on its schedule for Sunday, September 4th. So, it would appear that is being moved up a day - making it the first WWE event in the UK of this size and scope since SummerSlam in 1992. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will meet again…at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8th. Rhodes beat The Miz on last night’s RAW. Sonya Deville will be Bianca Belair’s next challenger for the RAW Women’s Title. Deville lured Belair into signing an open contract last night…and then attacked her. Deville made her move after Belair beat Queen Zelina. The women’s tag title match being promoted for last night did NOT happen. Commentary indicated Rhea Ripley was kept off the show due to COVID-19 protocols. The match is now being promoted for next Monday’s RAW. Meanwhile, one-half of the women’s tag champs Naomi pinned Liv Morgan with a rollup last night. Rey Mysterio also did not appear last night. Instead, his son Dominik took a loss to Veer Mahaan, who continued the beating after the match. Dominik was taken away on a stretcher to a backstage ambulance. The SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos beat the Street Profits in last night’s main event. The Usos made it clear they want a title unification match against the RAW Tag Champs RK-Bro, who beat the Alpha Academy last night. The match between AJ Styles and Damian Priest ended in a no-contest. Austin Theory is now known simply as “Theory”. He’ll get a U.S. Title match against Finn Balor next Monday. Tommaso Ciampa officially joined the RAW roster last night. THREE title matches are set for tonight’s NXT. The next holders of the vacant NXT Tag Titles will be decided in a 5-team gauntlet match. Those teams are Grayson Waller & Sanga, Legado del Fantasma, The Creed Brothers, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Pretty Deadly. Also tonight…Mandy Rose defends the NXT Women’s Title against Dakota Kai…and Cameron Grimes puts the North American Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa. There’s an update on Shinjiro Otani. ZERO1 confirmed early Tuesday that Otani suffered a cervical spinal cord injury during a match on Sunday. Fightful and Post Wrestling reporting Wednesday that MSK’s Nash Carter was let go…following weeks of allegations of domestic abuse and a picture that surfaced online. MSK just won the NXT Tag Titles last Saturday. They were scheduled to defend the titles against Grayson Waller & Sanga on next Tuesday’s NXT. Obviously, that won’t be happening. The NXT UK Championship is on the line today. Ilja Dragunov defends his title against Roderick Strong. Also on today’s episode…Wolfgang vs. Charlie Dempsey and Wild Boar vs. Primate. (STINGER: AEW) Hangman Page will defend the AEW Championship against Adam Cole…on a live episode of Rampage on April 15th…in a Texas Death Match. Cole beat Christian Cage on last night’s Dynamite. Thunder Rosa’s first defense of her AEW Women’s Championship will be at Battle of the Belts II on April 16th…against Nyla Rose. FTR are still the Ring of Honor & AAA Tag Team Champions. They beat the Young Bucks in the main event of last night’s Dynamite. Samoa Joe made his AEW debut last night and beat Max Caster to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. Hikaru Shida qualified for the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament with a win over Julia Hart. Captain Shawn Dean scored another upset win on Dynamite. He rolled up and pinned Shawn Spears amid the chaos of Wardlow bursting into the arena. The Hardys beat The Butcher & The Blade in a Tables Match. Leyla Hirsch appeared to injure her knee during a match being taped for Dark: Elevation. The match was immediately halted. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight’s Impact will feature action from last week’s Multiverse of Matches pay-per-view - including the entire match between Speedball Mike Bailey and Alex Shelley. Before the Impact will feature the Knockouts Tag Title 4-way from Multiverse of Matches. Alex Hammerstone will defend the MLW Heavyweight Title against Richard Holliday at MLW’s Kings of Colosseum TV tapings in Philadelphia on May 13th. (STINGER: New Japan) Scott Norton is returning to New Japan - and Bullet Club - for a 12-man tag on the Windy City Riot pay-per-view on April 16th. Police in Florida say WWE Hall of Famer Sunny - Tammy Sytch - was involved in a fatal car crash late last month. An investigation is underway. Criminal charges could be coming.
