It’s not just the ultimate fantasy booking challenge. It’s also a competitive thought experiment! The object of Mayhem Mania is to craft the best WrestleMania card possible within the boundaries of our current reality. That means anyone WWE can book in a match is available to our players. But this year, there’s a twist! Mayhem Mania 2022 is a two-night event! Night 1 will be the night for our traditional Mayhem Mania card featuring WWE-related matches. But on Night 2, we open the “forbidden door” and make it possible for our players to create matches with anyone outside of WWE. In the opening round of Mayhem Mania, our players created six matches for both our Night 1 and Night 2 cards. Now, the real fun begins. Every week, more players will arrive on the scene and make a change to one of the matches.

He challenged AJ Styles to a match for Styles’ spot against Edge at Mania. In the end, Edge attacked Styles. That’s a DQ win for AJ. And Rollins is again left with NO CLEAR PATH to WrestleMania. Rollins went on a tirade as the show went off the air. Wrecking everything in sight and vowing to sabotage next week’s RAW…unless he gets his “WrestleMania moment”. A 3-Way for the RAW Tag Titles is now officially set for Night 2 of WrestleMania on Sunday, April 3rd - RK-Bro defending against the Alpha Academy and the Street Profits. RK-Bro won a non-title match over the Alpha Academy. Riddle pinned Chad Gable with Bro Derek. The Street Profits interrupted a post-match attack by the Academy. And then, THEY beat up on Riddle. Rey & Dominik Mysterio beat the NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode! Dominik pinned Roode with a frog splash. After the match, The Miz laid out Rey and STOLE REY’S MASK! Pat McAfee was on RAW. He helped United States Champ Finn Balor get a rollup win over Austin Theory. SmackDown’s Shayna Baszler & Nataly beat Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan. Baszler pinned Morgan. Omos won a 2-on-1 match over Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez. 24/7 Champ Dana Brooke & Reggie beat Akira Tozawa & Tamina. Reggie pinned Tozawa. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are being promoted for next Monday’s RAW. WWE is promoting Veer Mahaan will arrive on RAW on April 4th. That’s right. They will SEND VEER on the RAW after WrestleMania! No matches are announced as of Monday morning…but AJ Styles is set to return on tonight’s RAW. WWE says Bianca Belair is out of action with a throat injury after she was attacked by Becky Lynch last Monday. The WrestleMania match between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville will now be an “Anything Goes” match. Natalya & Shayna Baszler are now added to the WWE Women’s Tag Title match at WrestleMania. WWE’s Gable Steveson won his second straight NCAA wrestling championship over the weekend. He removed his shoes after his win, signaling his retirement from the sport. The winners meet in the tournament semifinals on Saturday. The other half of the “final four” was decided on Sunday. Tetsuya Naito defeated Jeff Cobb. He’ll face IWGP World Champ Kazuchika Okada, who beat CIMA. Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley will meet at New Japan’s Windy City Riot show in Chicago on April 16th. That show will be available live on pay-per-view exclusively through FITE TV. On Saturday night’s New Japan Strong…Buddy Matthews beat Ren Narita…and Chris Bey beat Blake Christian. Back in Japan, the Best of the Super Juniors Tournament is now set to begin on May 15th. Homicide is the new NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion. He won the vacant title at the Crockett Cup over the weekend. Also, Jax Dane beat Anthony Mayweather to win the NWA National Title. The Briscoes won the Crockett Cup tournament itself. WWE is promoting a confrontation between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Universal Champ Roman Reigns for Friday night’s SmackDown. The next challenger for Ilja Dragunov’s NXT UK Championship…appears to be Roderick Strong. He laid out a challenge after he beat Wolfgang on Thursday’s NXT UK. Oliver Carter got a roll-up win over one-half of the NXT UK Tag Champs Tyler Bate. If Ashton Smith beats Bate’s partner Trent Seven next week, Carter & Smith get another shot at the tag titles. (STINGER Impact) Moose’s defense of the Impact World Championship against Josh Alexander is officially on for the Rebellion pay-per-view. Moose personally delivered the contract to Alexander’s family on Thursday night’s Impact. Josh Alexander beat Matt Taven in Thursday’s main event. The Motor City Machine Guns reunited on last night’s Impact Wrestling…and they got a win over Bullet Club’s Jay White & Chris Bey, who took the pin. Deonna Purrazzo successfully defended the ROH Women’s Championship and AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in a 3-way against Gisele Shaw and Lady Frost, who took the pin. Steve Maclin used the Gore to pin Rhino. Bhupinder Gujjar beat Larry D We also got some quick wins for JONAH…and Masha Slamovich. Impact Tag Team Champion Deaner beat Karl Anderson on Before The Impact. The Impact Tag Titles will be defended in a 4-way at Rebellion, BUT FIRST Violent By Design will defend the titles against the Good Brothers in a lumberjack match on next week’s Impact. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan announced Friday that IWGP United States Champion SANADA has a fractured left orbital bone. It happened during SANDADA’s New Japan Cup loss to Will Ospreay on Thursday. There’s no timetable for SANADA’s recovery. The injury appeared to happen when Ospreay went for a running shooting star press and landed on SANADA’s head. In the other tournament match Thursday, Zack Sabre Jr. beat Great-O-Khan. The last of the third-round matches are being held Friday. The quarterfinals begin on Sunday. Jericho and Jake Hager aligned themselves with Daniel Garcia and 2point0…and Jericho dubbed the group the Jericho Appreciation Society. There’s a NEW TNT Champion. Scorpio Sky pinned Sammy Guevara with the TKO in last night’s main event. Tay Conti was ringside to support Guevara who was nursing injured ribs. But Conti crossed paths with Paige VanZant. The show ended with VanZant, Sky, Ethan Page, and Dan Lambert standing over the fallen Guevara and Conti…as VanZant signed her contract with AEW. Sky does not have much time to celebrate. He’ll defend the TNT Title next week against Wardlow. Thunder Rosa will get another shot at Dr. Britt Baker’s AEW Women’s Championship…on next week’s Dynamite…inside a Steel Cage…in Rosa’s hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Rosa earned another title shot with a win over LEGIT Leyla Hirsch last night. Hangman Page successfully defended the AEW Championship against Dante Martin. He won the title in a 3-way main event on last night’s Roadblock special. Ziggler’s tag team partner Robert Roode got involved late in the match. Roode sidetracked former champ Bron Breakker - opening the door for Ziggler to hit Tommaso Ciampa with a superkick and pin Ciampa to win the title. It is the first singles champion for Ziggler since 2018. Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner are still the NXT Tag Team Champions…but they now have two clear challengers waiting in the wings. Imperium was set to defend the titles against the Creed Brothers last night. But the Creeds were scratched after they were found laid out in the infamous NXT Parking Lot. MSK stepped in for the Creeds. But during the title match, the Creeds returned, a big brawl ensued and the match was thrown out. The final of the women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. It’ll be Io Shirai & Kay Lee Ray vs. Dakota Kai & Wendy Choo. Kai & Choo got another upset win last night. They beat Cora Jade & Raquel Gonzalez. Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jayce Jane - the NXT Women’s Tag Champs - attacked Gonzalez’ knee during the match and Kai & Choo were able to take advantage and pin her for the win. In the other semifinal last night, Shirai & KLR beat Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter. Getting back to Cora Jade - she later attacked the NXT Women’s Champ Mandy Rose in the Toxic Lounge, where Edris Enofe & Malik Blade were filling in as Rose’s attendants. Grayson Waller won a Last Man Standing match against LA Knight…thanks to some help from Sanga. Fallon Henley beat Tiffany Stratton…after interference by Sarray. A-Kid - a former Heritage Cup Champion in NXT UK - will make his NXT debut next week. But this year, there’s a twist! Mayhem Mania 2022 is a two-night event! Night 1 will be the night for our traditional Mayhem Mania card featuring WWE-related matches. But on Night 2, we open the “forbidden door” and make it possible for our players to create matches with anyone outside of WWE. In the opening round of Mayhem Mania, our players created six matches for both our Night 1 and Night 2 cards. Now, the real fun begins.
