Former Congressman and Presidential candidate (2004, 2008) Dennis Kucinich released, on July 1, a statement, “July 4, 2025: The Desecration of the Declaration of Independence and a Call for Renewal.” The document begins with its own resolution: “If America is to remain what the Revolution envisioned in 1776, a nation governed by laws, then we the people must speak out, we must act and defend that vision.” When the Schiller Institute was founded, it issued a “Declaration of the Inalienable Rights of Man”, which is almost identical to the Declaration of Independence. Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s proposal then, as now, was that the nations of the Global South, the now-expanded group of nations that had originally assembled 70 years ago in Bandung, Indonesia, then declaring themselves the Non-Aligned Movement, should co-opt the Declaration of Independence, temporarily abandoned by the United States itself, but still, as it will always be, universally valid. The principle, “that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—” is not a decree but a law of human nature. There are unalienable rights that can not be taken from any human being, because they are universal, and come from no state. These are the aspirations being spoken of in the policies associated with the BRICS nations, policies which have been given concrete physical-economic expression in works such as the 2014 EIR Special Report, “The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge”.

The Full Story of Washington Crossing the Delaware by Lynne Speed June 30, 2025—The LaRouche Organization (TLO) is currently commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, [with a series]( https://www.laroucheorganization.com/...) of articles, tours, video reports, seminars, concerts, and more. Lynne Speed, long-time leader of the LaRouche movement in the New York Metropolitan area, addresses the significance of Gen. George Washington and his forces making a treacherous crossing of the Delaware River on December 25, 1776, from Pennsylvania to New Jersey, surprising the enemy, and marking a shift toward success for the revolutionaries. Security Council on June 22, made right after the June 21 American B-2 bombing runs against Iran were made public, Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzia warned the world: "Through its actions, the US has opened a Pandora’s box, and no one knows what new consequences this may lead to." Whether intended or not by President Trump, three global sea-changes were set in motion by his decision to attack Iran, changes which are now irreversible, absent a prompt and fundamental change in the world’s security and development architecture. The last-minute ceasefire organized by Trump between Iran and Israel (after encouraging the launching of the war between them!), cannot withstand the policy gale now sweeping the planet: First: "The entire international order is in shambles," Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated on June 23. International law has been pronounced irrelevant; the UN Charter prohibiting wars of aggression has been ignored and made inoperative; and arms control and nuclear non-proliferation are now a dead letter. June 22, 2025—Your life, in as little as a few days or weeks, could end in an “accidental thermonuclear war,” triggered by the dropping of a tactical nuclear device on Iran, either by a renegade Israel, or by the United States, or by Israel with the agreement of the United States. What happens next, will be determined by the reports regarding the successful, or unsuccessful, destruction of the sites. Here is a question: if the sites were not destroyed, or if Iran announces it is able to rebuild, what will happen then? Will the use of tactical nuclear weapons be the next step? The driving force for these events is not in “the Middle East.” It is in the global shift in economic power away from the bankrupt trans-Atlantic NATO “Anglosphere” nations, inhabited by the “golden billion,” to the seven billion other people in the world, typified by the BRICS nations. Iran, a member of the BRICS, wants nuclear power, not nuclear weapons. The intent of the War Party is to use the United States, once an anti-imperial nation, as a battering ram against the BRICS, starting with Iran. With its attack on Iran, the United States has rejected what its greatest diplomat, President John Quincy Adams, characterized as its very nature: “(America) goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy…She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own…she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue…The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force.….She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.” By breaking his pledge that he would keep the United States out of war, President Donald Trump has now fallen into the policy-grip of the War Party. If you think that means “the Israelis,” you are mistaken. They are the match, but who sets the fires? Is that the role that Tony Blair, Jonathan Powell, Sir Richard Dearlove, Sir Peter Mandelson and others from the City Of London are playing in Washington right now? Are we watching a reprise of London’s role in starting the Iraq war, in particular giving George Bush his infamous sixteen words—“The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa”—when there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Is this similar to the role that the British Ministry of Defense, through its Project Alchemy, has played in the attacks deep into Russian territory that also threaten nuclear war? Israel has nuclear and thermonuclear weapons, and has had them for over 60 years. That ugly, open secret is why nations like Iran, whatever you may choose to think of their policies, have acted as they have. If the Iranian sites were in fact not destroyed, the danger is that some crazy from the bowels of the Pentagon will now propose, “The only ‘dead certain’ way forward is to use ‘tactical’ nuclear weapons.” Stop and think about what the following report from Newsweek, June 20, actually means. “The Trump administration has not taken anything ‘off the table,’ including the use of tactical nuclear weapons, if it decides to take military action against the underground Iranian nuclear facility at Fordow, Fox News reported, citing a White House official.” In response to these reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the only responsible thing: “There have been a lot of speculations. This would be a catastrophic development, but there are so many speculations that in fact, it’s impossible to comment on them." No matter what you are told, by the White House, by the Pentagon, or anyone else, there is no such thing as the use of one “tactical” nuclear weapon. In the words of Annie Jacobsen, author of Nuclear War: A Scenario, “If nuclear war begins, it doesn’t end until there is a nuclear holocaust. And it happens so fast. There is no quickly going to your secret bunker.”

More U.S. force is being moved into the region. A report is out that the U.S. Navy’s newest and largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, is to be deployed to the Mediterranean, which will mean three U.S. carrier groups stationed in the region. President Donald Trump, who today held the second National Security Council/Situation Room briefing in a row at the White House, continues to reiterate his stance of militant prevarication, telling reporters this morning, who asked what he will decide about deploying U.S. forces against Iran either directly or through Israel. His two public options are 1) receive “unconditional surrender” by Iran; or 2) bomb the Fordow and other nuclear infrastructure targets. These are two classic British geopolitical constructs of “options,” which actually barely mask the regime-change intent of the Trump British policy right now. Israel began bombing Iran last Friday, June 13, and the back and forth bombing has not ended. While we cannot predict what President Trump will do, and cannot control what our neighbors will do, we can control what we are going to do, which must be to build the LaRouche movement with vigor, including signing up hundreds of people for subscriptions to EIR, and memberships in the Schiller Institute and The LaRouche Organization, and inviting them to participate in the Friday International Peace Coalition meetings. TLO President Diane Sare interviews independent journalist Vanessa Beeley, who spent several years reporting from Syria until she was forced by the coup in 2024 to relocate to Lebanon. Here she talks about the latest developments following Israel's illegal attack on Iran, and the Iranian response, as well as the duplicitous U.S.-Iran "negotiations," which now appear to have merely served to buy time to prepare the attacks. Beeley refers to a Brookings Institute report from 2009 as the guide for the "decapitation" of Iran, while also providing strategic background on Russia-Iran relations and insights from the population and the resistance on the ground.

The absurdity of falling back on the lie that Iran is "weeks away" from developing nuclear weapons, thereby justifying an all-out assault on Iran, is the latest sign that the "leadership" of the "Collective West" suffers from a cognitive collapse that surpasses that of the previous Collective Biden regime. Flynn LTG USA (RET), warning President Trump to do a thorough house-cleaning of all Deep State agents in his administration. After this past weekend’s June 1 Ukrainian “Operation Spiderweb” attacks on Russian airports, the LaRouche movement was mobilized by Monday morning to act to pull the reins back the danger of nuclear war, producing and distributing the leaflet titled “Step Back From The Brink of World War III!!” Jose Vega, Congressional Candidate from NY-15 joined the mobilization in front of the United Nations, NY. We have a statement from him. Last week Schiller Institute’s Sebastien Perimony, along with French Colonel Jacques Hogard, participated in and were speakers at the 13th annual “International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues,” held May 27-29 in Moscow, an event involving 125 delegations from over 100 countries. Mr. McGovern delivered his remarks entitled “There Is Such A Thing As Too Late” during Panel 1 of the two-day conference. During the May 27 broadcast of the “Judging Freedom” podcast of Judge Andrew Napolitano reported the Schiller Institute’s May 24-25 Conference, “A Beautiful Vision for Humanity in Times of Great Turbulence!” Immediately following his introduction of guest Ray McGovern (former senior CIA analyst, and co-founder of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), Napolitano asked McGovern, who had addressed the conference, what the two-day Memorial Day weekend event was about, and for McGovern’s feel for the attitude of young people about war and peace. McGovern reported that the Schiller Institute is reaching out to young people to inspire them to do something about the indignities happening in our own country and abroad. He said they’re having some success, and working really hard at it. McGovern reported on the presentations made at the conference, including his own and that by Scott Ritter, former Marine intelligence officer and UN weapons inspector. He described the speeches as “motivational speeches,” that were a little bit about history, but that they also challenged the audience to act. There is such a thing as “too late,” he stressed. While what little media coverage there was of Ukraine's escalated attack on Russian territory has been minimal, the danger of escalation is great! We are inching ever closer to a full World War III, with provocations coming from NATO and EU stooges, and carried out by their puppets Zelensky and Netanyahu. The underlying theme of last weekend’s Schiller Institute conference, “A Beautiful Vision for Humanity in Times of Great Turbulence,” focused on the dying, imperial world order of the City of London and Wall Street, and the need to replace it with a new paradigm governed by principles in coherence with natural law and the universe. The vision for a new security and development architecture based upon economic development and sovereignty was deliberated upon by former diplomats, scientists, farmers, intelligence analysts, and activists at the conference. While a “Council of Reason,” convened by Schiller Institute Founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche through the International Peace Coalition process and the Memorial Day Conference this past weekend, has been acting as a positive force for peace and development, these past couple of days have shown new feats of lunacy in Europe, specifically by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who after speaking with the illegitimate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin, announced that Germany would finance Ukraine’s ability to produce long-range Taurus and other missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory. Earlier, Merz announced that Germany, France, the U.S., and the U.K. had eliminated any limits on the range of missiles fired into Russia by Ukraine. That was later contradicted by his Vice Chancellor, but it’s clear that the intent of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, even if it means the destruction of Europe, is not really a concern for the Coalition of the Brain-Dead. The response from Russia was very blunt. A leading Russian military analyst, and Editor-in-Chief of Russia’s “National Defense,” Igor Korotchenko, presented a political-legal justification for retaliating to Taurus missiles being fired into Russian territory. Korotchenko said, “How should Russia react to this? In such a case, we must first destroy/raze these factories as a one-time and demonstrative deterrent measure, for example, with two Oreshnik missiles carrying 12 hypersonic blocks of non-nuclear warheads, so that Germany will no longer be able to build such cruise missiles in the next five to seven years. This will first be a non-nuclear strike.” The leading establishments in the trans-Atlantic, and their financial controllers in the City of London and Wall Street, are determined to bring about thermonuclear war to prevent the disintegration of their quadrillion-plus derivatives financial bubble. Despite some opposition from President Trump, neocons and other “Deep State” operatives continue to strategically blind Trump and lead him into provocative, hard headed statements. How come Trump, for example, didn’t even know that the Russian President had flown into a Ukrainian barrage of drones over the week? The Memorial Day Weekend Conference of the Schiller Institute indeed provides a beautiful vision for humanity to act upon, and create. Speeches and presentations from the six panels of the two-day conference are to be deployed now as an intervention unto the population. Lavrov was referring to the statement made earlier in the day by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, after meeting with Ukrainian acting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin, that Germany would be financing Ukraine’s ability to produce long-range Taurus and other missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory. Merz had a few days earlier stated, even more provocatively, that Germany would itself produce Taurus missiles and send them to Ukraine for their use. A leading Russian military analyst responded by proposing that the factory producing the Taurus in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria be flattened “with two Oreshnik missiles carrying 12 hypersonic blocks of non-nuclear warheads, so that Germany will no longer be able to build such cruise missiles in the next five to seven years. This will first be a non-nuclear strike.” “I’m sure that the citizens of Schrobenhausen will not be very happy to hear that,” Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated today, “because if they are hit by Oreshnik missiles—which cannot be stopped—that would forebode great horror not only for Schrobenhausen, but subsequently probably for all of Germany and Europe.” Zepp-LaRouche went on to issue an urgent call for the people of Schrobenhausen, and others around the world, to mobilize to stop Germany from producing or sending Taurus missiles to Ukraine, to not “slide down the same inclined plane” which led to world war 80 years ago, and which this time could bring us all to the brink of a nuclear World War III. Although the drive for war to wipe out Russia is emanating from London and other European capitals, they don’t have the military forces, the finances, nor the industry for such a daunting job—in short, without the U.S., Europe simply can’t do it. President Trump is emphatically opposed to the war policy, and has instead sought to work things out through personal conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. But neo-cons and other “Deep State” actors in Washington are working overtime to strategically blind Trump—who seems shockingly unaware of key strategic developments, including the fact that President Putin’s helicopter was directly targeted by Ukrainian drones over the weekend. Lavrov was very blunt about this problem as well in his press comments today. “One thing is clear: not everything is being reported to D. Trump and those who actually make decisions in connection with the Ukrainian conflict in particular. He is being given information ‘sifted through a sieve,’ prepared by those who want to draw America into more aggressive actions against Russia in support of the Ukrainian regime.” Lavrov added drily: “We will try to correct this situation with the lack of information.” That is much required. But in addition to good strategic information, a beautiful vision for the future of humanity is needed to chart an opposite strategy, one which is premised on the fact that the development of all nations is the only lasting basis for peace and justice. Both security and development are indivisible: they either exist for all, or they exist for none.

Dialogue between Helga Zepp-LaRouche and military expert Dr. Theodore Postol. #trump #goldendome #russia #china #war #larouche In an already tense strategic climate, the introduction in the U.S. by President Trump of a "Golden Dome" missile defense system increases the threat of nuclear war with Russia and China, rather than enhancing security. Dr. Theodore Postol, who is a renowned expert on modern warfare and nuclear weapons, will discuss with Helga Zepp-LaRouche his conclusions about the danger inherent in the design of the system. In his review of the proposal, Postol concludes that 1.) this proposal of the Trump Administration poses an enormous danger to geopolitical stability; and 2), the second part of the Trump Administration’s proposal, which is to expand the ground-based missile defense system, would simply increase the size of a defense system that now provably has no missile defense capability. However, he believes that rather than serving as a deterrent, the appearance of an expanded missile defense program might well result in the Russians and Chinese feeling compelled to expand their offense of nuclear forces to offset perceptions that the United States might have some residual capability to negate their nuclear deterrents. When combined with the insistence of Germany's new Chancellor Merz that the limits be lifted to the range of long-range missiles provided to Ukraine, we are entering a moment of extreme instability which heightens the risk of nuclear war. This discussion follows last weekend's Schiller Institute conference which focused on the "LaRouche Solution" to the strategic crisis, centered around the battle to establish a new strategic and development architecture to replace the collapsing Unipolar Order.

The only realistic path to ending the NATO-Biden precipitated war in Ukraine is to listen to the Russians, and address the legitimate security concerns of both parties. The just-concluded Schiller Institute conference included discussion and debate about how to do that.
