Fireside Chat w. Dennis Speed March 6th – Guests Cliff Kiracofe and Kurt Wiebe

A series of political earthquakes seem to be coming every day, especially since Zelenskyy’s ill-fated meeting with President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, where Trump had said flatly to the Ukrainian dictator, “You are gambling with World War III.” Since that meeting, President Trump has canceled all military aid to Ukraine, a decision which has panicked the trans-Atlantic establishment in Europe who are dead set against any kind of peace talks with Russia, and are now doubling down on militarizing their countries. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called for €800 billion to “rearm Europe,” which cannot possibly work given the fragile budgets of the European economies. A shattering of the old order—based on Unipolar dominance, endless wars, and sanctions—is clearly coming to an end. However, those that are in most panic are the British imperial elites, who have been the leading actors in manipulating great powers to fight each other since the untimely death of President Franklin Roosevelt. The conservative British imperialist David Starkey, known for his racist, pro-colonialist views, revealed his view of the Trump/Zelenskyy dust-up in a recent interview given on March 2nd. Starkey said, “The world in which we thought we lived, in which most of my lifetime we’ve lived, which is a world of the so-called ‘Rules-Based International System’—RUBIS—has shattered…. Exactly three years ago, on the day that Putin invaded, I predicted the end of RUBIS. I predicted the fact that we are going to move into a world which looks very much like the terrible world outlawed by George Orwell in 1984, in which there are great, permanent blocs of the world. He outlined Oceania, which is ourselves and America; Eurasia, which is, essentially, an enlarged Soviet Union; with an uneasy southern hemisphere. And it’s something like that. “We now have the combined power of Russia and China, we have the so-called BRICS, with India, with South Africa, with Brazil. We have the Anglosphere, all now in extraordinary competition with one another. We’ve moved back from that world of the United Nations, into something like 19th century great power politics…. We’re back in the world of Palmerston.” Is the intention by the British Empire to keep the world divided by “great power” blocs, who are constantly at odds with one another in a new, 21st Century “Great Game”? That is not how we view a “multipolar” world order, which would be more correctly identified as “polyphonic,” where nations work together for the common good of each other, and whereby a new, security and development architecture can be established among equal, sovereign nation-states. That coheres with Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Global Security Initiative, Global Development Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, along with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal for a joint European security architecture in a speech he gave to the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) on Feb. 27th. The old order is collapsing, but let us not collapse with it.

Helga Zepp LaRouche w Harley Schlanger Mar 5th – Tectonic Shifts Open Door For LaRouche Program

Join Helga Zepp-LaRouche in her weekly live dialogue to discuss the mobilization to end the ‘Special Relationship’ in celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Republic. Send your questions to [email protected] March 3, 2025 (EIRNS)—President Donald Trump has suspended the delivery of all U.S. military aid to Ukraine, according to multiple press accounts. This decision comes as Zelenskyy continues to channel Greta Thunberg, acting like a scolding, scowling brat. In London on March 2, following the meeting of a U.K.-hosted “coalition of the willing” to support the destruction of the country Zelenskyy supposedly represents, he claimed that Ukraine could count on continuing U.S. support. And Zelenskyy said he’d put such “support” to good use—by prolonging the war that is absolutely devastating Ukraine. Peace with Russia is “very, very far away,” he said. Trump was furious. “This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!” he thundered on March 3. “It is what I was saying, this guy doesn’t want there to be Peace as long as he has America’s backing,” Trump continued. “Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated flatly that they cannot do the job without the U.S.—Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against Russia. What are they thinking?” Other steps toward ending the catastrophically dangerous conflict between NATO and Russia in Ukraine: Trump advisor Mike Waltz points out the absurdity of debating the nature of security guarantees in Ukraine when there isn’t even a pathway to a peace. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth orders a halt to cyberattacks against Russia. But despite the thawing relations between Russia and the United States, can those two countries on their own create a peaceful outcome? “The Kiev regime and Zelenskyy do not want peace,” assessed Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. “They want the war to continue. So in this situation, of course, only Washington’s efforts and Moscow’s readiness will obviously not be enough.” There remains an apparent Anglo-French alliance for war against Russia, an alliance whose physical backing is far from adequate. What role can the world play in preventing the intention for war, expressed by the U.K., France, and the Baltics, most notably? Meanwhile, Trump’s useful instincts with respect to Ukraine clearly do not carry over to economics. He is applying and increasing tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. And he plans to throw away government resources on crypto speculation, announcing a Crypto Strategic Reserve over the weekend. The announcement sent bitcoin prices up around 10%, a gain that completely evaporated by Monday evening. There were similar changes in the price people are willing to pay for other crypto “assets.” Will Trump learn a lesson from the crypto antics of Argentina’s lunatic President Javier Milei? If you want to work on “government efficiency,” scrap this crypto nonsense and get to work with building up U.S. infrastructure and productivity! An economy that is growing, in scale and technological advancement, will provide the basis for a strong currency and a means of servicing the ballooning federal debt.

Battle Report w. Michelle Erin Mar 5th – A Moment of Epochal Change – Recruiting the U.S. Into the New Paradigm

Many actions taken by President Trump’s administration have expressed a desire for peace, progress, and sanity. This is a great relief! But for those who have known or worked with the great economist Lyndon LaRouche, it is clear that the solutions proposed to some of our greatest problems are not enough. It is not a time to rest on our laurels as spectators. Watch the tonight’s Weekly Battle Report of the LaRouche Organization to follow continuing work of this movement to make sure the United States and and other nations do not go down with the collapsing of the military-economic-financial empire in the west, and that we instead find our place in the new paradigm already emerging in the developing world.

Daily Update w. Harley Schlanger Mar 6th – Cooperation, or War Between Two Paradigms

Those who benefit from the Unipolar Order -- i.e., the global corporate conglomerates associated with the Military-Industrial-Financial Complex (MIFC) -- are using wars, regime change and psychological warfare run through their media cartel, in a desperate attempt to maintain control. The effort by President Trump to end the Ukraine war is a move against them, but there is still ambiguity over his policy toward Gaza (his support for war criminal Netanyahu!), and with the indebted economy a weak flank which can be exploited by the corporate cartels. Lyndon LaRouche from 2001: A Dialogue with Russian Economists

It is safe to say that no other serious American thinker has played a more profound role over the past decades, especially since the collapse of the Soviet Union, in forging an actual basis for a Russia-U.S. partnership at the highest possible level than Lyndon LaRouche. In this May, 2001 presentation, LaRouche (like Gottfried Leibniz before him) identifies Russia's central role in world history as the pivot of the development of the "great inner space" of the Eurasian Continent. With the demise of Global Britain and its "Great Game" of perpetual wars and geopolitics now a very real possibility, U.S. foreign policy can now potentially be liberated for the US-UK "Special Relationship" and instead ally with Russia, China and India to completely transform human civilization over the next century. This would also include the in depth development of the African continent. At this conference in Bad Schwlabach, Germany, LaRouche is joined by reknowned Russian economists Sergey Glazyev and Stanislav Menshikov. Glazyev, whose book "Genocide: Russia and the New World Order" was translated and published in English in 1999 by LaRouche's Executive Intelligence Review, has gone on to become an advisor to President Putin on regional economic integration from 2012 to 2019, and now the Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union. Professor Menshikov, who was a personal friend of Lyndon LaRouche and Helga Zepp-LaRouche for 15 years and participated in many EIR seminars and Schiller Institute conferences, played an important public role historically in promoting Russian-American relations throughout the Cold War and afterwards until his death in 2014. An English version of Menshikov's book "The Anatomy of Russian Capitalism" was also published by EIR in 2007. Any serious American policy initiative with the current Russian president and his advisors would be sorely remiss without reviewing LaRouche's dialogue with and influence on some of Russia's top thinkers and policy makers over the past decades.

Daily Update w. Harley Schlanger March 3rd – Sir Keir Leads the Coalition of the Willing

European leaders, who are on the whole unpopular and presiding over stagnant or collapsing economies, rejected President Trump's call to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine. Instead, they rallied support for Zelenskyy and pledged billions of Euros to fund a lost war. Sir Keir Starmer is leading the charge, committing the UK to spend billions of Pounds for war, when poverty levels have risen to 18%. He is under pressure from the imperial war hawks of the City of London to rescue the Special Relationship. What is necessary is an awakening of people living under the bubble of the EU and NATO, to face reality of the need to break with geopolitics, and join the Global Majority in building a new security and development architecture.

IPC Meeting #91 w. Helga Zepp LaRouche – Cultivate a Higher Level of Statecraft

We can agree with Sir Keir Starmer on one thing: this is "a world where everything has changed." Those were the words that the flummoxed British Prime Minister used in a speech to the House of Commons on Feb. 25, as he nervously prepared for a meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump on Feb. 27. As the British Monarchy’s envoy, Starmer’s mission is to salvage, at all costs, the Churchillian "British-American Special Relationship," through which the City of London and Wall Street have maintained their control over a bankrupt unipolar world order, ever since FDR’s untimely death. Starmer’s second objective in Washington is to ensure that peace does not break out in Ukraine, that presidents Trump and President Putin do not succeed in putting an end to the carnage. But Starmer’s problem is that the world has changed drastically as a result of the Feb. 12 phone conversation between Trump and Putin, followed by high-level diplomatic discussions between their representatives in Riyadh on Feb. 18. Not only are both sides committed to normalizing their relations, and to work out a peace that addresses the underlying causes that led to the war; the two nations have even begun to talk about possible joint economic cooperation on mutually beneficial projects. "The US is now the enemy of the West," exclaimed the Financial Times’s Chief Economic Commentator, Commander of the British Empire (CBE) Martin Wolf. London’s Economist magazine agreed: "Faced with a collapsing transatlantic alliance, stunned European leaders this week began a diplomatic effort to salvage what is left of it." Zepp-LaRouche summarized the situation: "I have the feeling that the European elites have really lost the connection to reality for such a long time, that they cannot adjust to a changing strategic situation… When someone has lost all touch with reality, you normally call them insane." "Unless we cultivate a higher level of statecraft," Zepp-LaRouche warned, "we won’t get out of the pit." It has never been more important to bring together the forces for peace in the world than this very moment. The clear freakout from the Empire at the thought of losing their geopolitical hold on the Global Majority, as well as the United States, is palpable. Join the International Peace Coalition this Friday at 11am ET with peace leaders from around the world.

TLO Friday Symposium w. Diane Sare – End The U.S.-British Special Relationship!

Immediately following the death of President Franklin Roosevelt, Britain's imperial elite moved swiftly to re-assert their "Great Game" geopolitical control of the planet through perpetual war by usurping the "brawn" of their lost colony, the United States, to enforce their murderous agenda. Since then, every rotten American policy, from the dropping of two atomic bombs to the Vietnam War and post 9/11 "forever wars," has been the result of the subservience of a corrupt faction of the US intelligence community to this imperial "special relationship," so named by Winston Churchill in 1946. Accordingly, all major opponents to this servile role of the United States to the empire she defeated in revolution, have been persecuted, marginalized, or assassinated. Now, on the eve of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, it is past time to end this insanity which has brought to world to the brink of nuclear war, and return the United States to her anti-colonial heritage. Toward this end, The LaRouche Organization has released a 4-page dossier 'For America’s 250th Birthday: Celebrate American Independence! End The U.S.-British Special Relationship!' which can be downloaded, printed and circulated. https://laroucheorganization.com/arti... TLO Fireside Chat Feb 27th w. Dennis Speed – The United States Must Break with British Imperialism

Since the untimely death of President Franklin Roosevelt in 1945, the Anglo-American ‘Special Relationship’ has been at the core of using American “brawn” to enforce an unjust world order through regime-change coups, color revolutions, assassinations, and economic looting, often at the cost of other nations’ best interests. The post-Cold War 1991-2025 “unipolar order” which later spanned the Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden Administrations is now coming to its unnatural end, as all empires ultimately do in their history. The Feb. 12 Trump-Putin phone call, and the subsequent meetings between Russia and the United States, have moved not only to end the three-years war in Ukraine, which has taken the lives of over one million people, but to restore normal, functioning relations between Washington and Moscow.

The war in Ukraine is a defense of the Unipolar Order's self-proclaimed right to loot populations of every country. Helga Zepp LaRouche + Harley Schlanger Feb 26th – Time to Shut Down U.S.-U.K. Special Relationship

Join Helga Zepp-LaRouche in her weekly live dialogue to discuss the mobilization to end the ‘Special Relationship’ in celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Republic. Send your questions to [email protected] Feb. 24, 2025 (EIRNS)—Why is it in Americans’ national security interest, that President Donald Trump act to curtail the “special relationship” that presently exists between the British Imperial and Commonwealth intelligence services, and the United States military and military-intelligence? This week’s visit by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Washington, D.C., undertaken in the vain hope of re-enlisting America as the financial and logistical “backstop” for further fruitless European posturing in an already-lost war in Ukraine, is the proper time to pose to the American people this question: What exact benefit does the United States gain from its so-called “special relationship” with Great Britain? Should a swift and solemn end be brought to the British-U.S. “special relationship,” in preparation for the upcoming celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Declaration of Independence? It is time—past time—to re-commit the United States to the original purpose of the 1776-1783 American Revolution. That was, as was clearly re-stated by President Franklin Roosevelt during World War Two to an apoplectic Winston Churchill, to remove the foot of Portuguese, Dutch, Belgian, French and British imperialism from the throat of people all over the world. Instead, the United States, founded to be the opposite of the British Empire, has, especially in the “unipolar era” from 1990 until now, been acting against the interests of the American people, and the American Revolution itself, engaging in no-win wars and overthrowing governments always in the name of democracy, but waged in reality on behalf of an international financial elite, a trans-Atlantic “War Party,” operating under the codename “NATO.” Britain’s Keir Starmer visits Washington this week on behalf of that mission, and nothing else. … Continue to read here: https://eir.news/2025/02/news/for-ame... Interview w. Graham Fuller – We Have a Choice, Folks

EIR’s Mike Billington conducted an extensive interview today with Graham Fuller. Billington: Greetings. This is Mike Billington with the Executive Intelligence Review and the Schiller Institute. I have the pleasure of interviewing today Mr. Graham Fuller, former long-time CIA official, including being the vice chairman at the National Intelligence Council at the CIA, responsible for long-term strategic forecasting. He’s also very much an expert on Arab issues, which we will mention during our discussion here. Fuller: I just might mention Mike. I’ve also, from early days in my life, been very focused on Russia. I majored in Russian history and literature and language at Harvard. So I’m yes, a lot of Arab world stuff, but a lot in Türkiye, and in Hong Kong, in China for many years. It’s been a bit of a trip around the world. Billington: Okay. So you’re a good person to have on because the whole world is changing very, very rapidly. So, I watched the joint interview that you did with Ray McGovern and Larry Wilkerson. In that interview, you said that the Arabs have been rather reserved in their support for the Palestinians, partially because the radical position taken by the Palestinians would tend to upset the kings and the emirs in the Arab world. But you also then said that the genocide of this last year has broken through some of that hesitancy and that the Arabs are coming together to support the Palestinians. Do you want to explain that process? Fuller: Well, Mike, the ruling circles in the Arab world, and they’re all kings and emirs for the most part, have feared the revolutionary character of the Palestinian nationalist movement, which is essentially a national liberation movement and a movement seeking to free themselves and be more independent and under democratic rule. Furthermore, it’s a public movement. It’s a nationalist, emotional movement that Arab rulers fear because they don’t want people in the streets demonstrating on any issue, because it suggests people power in the streets, that one day could be the root of turning against the ruling circles themselves. So any kind of public agitation of that sort is not welcome. The Palestinians are the preeminent symbol of revolutionary change in the Middle East as are the Iranians, who are the other very feared state. It’s not that Arabs hate Persians, necessarily, but because the Iranians had a genuine revolution, a street revolution that we don’t see much of in the world anymore. They’re usually coups in the Arab world. But the Iranians, the Persians had a real revolution. And that scares the hell out of dictators and various authoritarians across the region. They may feel sorry for the Palestinians, but they don’t want mass agitation. Billington: What did you mean when you said they’re starting to come together now, the Arab world? Fuller: The outrage is that we’re all perceiving, in this genocide, this laying waste to the Gaza Strip, with Israel moving again, as they want to do, into Lebanon, into parts of Syria, annexing the Golan Heights—the real borders of Israel are known only to God because it’s all in the Bible. It all depends on how you interpret it. There are those Israelis and interpreters of the Holy Scripture that see signs that Israel, Greater Israel, has a place in parts of Saudi Arabia, going back to ancient days. Of course, Jordan is functionally, in many ways, a Palestinian state. It’s got a slight majority, a Palestinian majority in Jordan. Parts of Egypt have figured very prominently in Jewish history going way back. Nobody knows where Israel will stop when it’s in its expansionist mood, which is where it is now, and where its right wing certainly locates itself.

TLO Daily Update w. Diane Sare Feb 25th – United States Breaks with British Narrative at UN

On Monday, Feb. 24, the UN General Assembly passed two resolutions on the conflict in Ukraine: one submitted by Ukraine and backed by the EU, which denounces Russia, and the amended version of another, much simpler one submitted by the U.S. The Security Council voted to approve the U.S. resolution. Leading into the vote, pro-war politicians were furious at the United States: "If we] look at the messages that come from the United States, then it is clear that the Russian narrative is, there, very strongly represented," said the EU’s chief diplomat Kaja Kallas, [according to the Financial Times. Two sources told that newspaper that the U.S. called for the EU-Ukraine General Assembly resolution to be entirely withdrawn. The Ukraine-EU resolution passed, with 93 votes in favor, 18 against, and 65 abstentions. The United States, Hungary, and Israel were among those nations voting against it. The resolution calls for impossible goals, speaking of “its demand that the Russian Federation immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.” The U.S. resolution, just three paragraphs long, simply “implores a swift end to the conflict and further urges a lasting peace between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.” It was adopted by a vote of 93 to 8, with 73 abstentions. Among those abstentions was the U.S. itself, due to amendments from European countries; they labeled Russia the aggressor and demanded a return to “Ukraine’s prewar international borders.” Russia voted against the resolution, as did the countries of the Alliance of Sahel States. Following the General Assembly votes, the Security Council met to deliberate on the U.S. resolution. This time, the attempts to amend the resolution were unsuccessful. Five attempts were made: three from EU countries and two from Russia. The U.S. resolution passed in a vote of 10 in favor and 5 abstentions (Denmark, France, Greece, Slovenia and United Kingdom). [jar/mob] Ryabkov Affirms Another U.S.-Russia Meeting Is Being Planned for this Week Feb. 24, 2025 (EIRNS)—A new meeting between Moscow and Washington is expected to take place in the coming week, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said, according to RT. It will involve department head-level officials from the foreign services of the two countries, Ryabkov revealed on Feb. 23. The deputy foreign minister did not name any individuals expected to participate in the meeting. “We are open to contacts with the American side, in particular, to address the irritants in bilateral relations. We expect real progress when the meeting scheduled for the end of the coming week takes place,” Ryabkov said. The meeting will come in preparation for higher-level talks involving deputy foreign ministers of the two nations. The meeting will be in a third country. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said over the weekend: “The dialogue is taking place between two truly outstanding presidents. It is promising. It is important that nothing hinders the realization of their political will.”

TLO Daily Update w. Diane Sare Feb 26th – Ukraine Peace Deal Imminent

The Path to Peace Widens as NATO Narratives, Institutions Disintegrate Feb. 25, 2025 (EIRNS)—In the last 48 hours sparks are flying from the backfire of NATO narratives, in the circles of the Group of Seven, European Union and trans-Atlantic alignments. Though the future is still undefined, and dangers and suffering remain, the way is clearly opening for a new paradigm of security and economic benefit for all. On Feb. 24, the stage was set by these NATO circles to beat the drum for more militarization of the economy, more sanctions, more warfare and bloodshed, done in the name of defending Ukraine, because yesterday was the occasion of the third anniversary of Russia’s special military operation. The core NATO narrative lie is “Russia wants to take over Europe,” and President Putin is a demonic autocrat. But instead of conveying this lie, or any such message, the day saw frenzy and foot-stomping, with more to come all week. Twelve trans-Atlantic government leaders went in person to Kiev yesterday to grandstand, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, who hosted a meeting of the Group of Seven (in video and in person) which, however, could not come up with a joint statement, even by this morning. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a ferocious speech, announcing the largest set of British sanctions against Russia ever. On Thursday, Feb. 27, is Starmer’s scheduled meeting in Washington with President Donald Trump. In Brussels, the same frenzy took place yesterday at the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, where a briefing was given by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, on “Russian Aggression.” The 16th set of EU sanctions against Russia was announced. What could the meeting offer otherwise? Only the date for another meeting. On March 6, a meeting of the European Council is to convene in Brussels, on “enhancing military support” for Ukraine. Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced at the Brussels meeting that she would depart for Washington the next day, for mid-week meetings with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other officials, to set them straight. When asked about President Trump being in a “disinformation bubble,” when it comes to Russia, Kallas agreed, “If [we] look at the messages that come from the United States, then it is clear that the Russian narrative is there, very strongly represented.” Thus, Kallas adds to the European pilgrimage to Washington this week, beginning with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House yesterday, pushing against the U.S. and Russia conferring for the purpose of ending the Ukraine strife. In dramatic opposition to the European war-making madness, Russian and Chinese diplomats at the United Nations spoke out in favor of initiatives to settle Ukraine, however preliminary they may be. After the UN Security Council passed a U.S.-sponsored resolution yesterday calling for a resolution of the Ukraine-Russia conflict (with France and the U.K. abstaining), Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said, “The text adopted now is not ideal, but it is, in fact, the first attempt to adopt a constructive and future-oriented product of the Council—talking about the path to peace—rather than escalating the conflict….” He termed the text “a starting point,” and called for “constructive cooperation” to make it succeed.

TLO Daily Update w. Harley Schlanger Feb 24th – Chaos Deepens in Europe: Calls for "Permanent State of Emergency"

In an election in which reality was largely excluded by the corporate, neoliberal media, German voters dumped the coalition government of Olaf Scholz, but left the future largely undefined. There was little discussion of the Ukraine war, German economic decline and deindustrialization, and relations with Russia and China. It is unlikely that the CDU's Friedrich Merz can form a stable coalition to govern, especially if he insists on maintaining the "firewall" to exclude the Alternative for Germany Party from being in the coalition, despite their strong second place finish. Like it or not, Germany's future is being shaped by U.S.-Russian moves toward "normalization" of relations. Where does that leave Germany, and Europe? Ursula von der Leyen has said Europe is moving into a "permanent state of emergency." Manhattan Project w. Ray McGovern – The Collapse of the Post-Cold War “Unipolar Order”

The events of the past days have been historic, upending the post-Cold War unipolar order which has subjugated the vast majority of nations into obedience and slavery. The commitment to thermonuclear war with Russia, on behalf of defending the Anglo-Dutch financial system of City of London and Wall Street, was at its height just a couple of months ago when former President Joe Biden had approved the use of long-range missiles into Russia by the Ukrainian military, with supervision and technical support of U.S. servicemen who would direct these missiles to their targets. A Putin-Trump phone call on Feb. 12, subsequent meetings between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and a cold slap from Vice President J.D. Vance to the diehard war hawks in the trans-Atlantic establishment at the just-concluded Feb. 14-16 Munich Security Conference are all historic actions that have taken us back from the brink of thermonuclear war which the Biden Administration set into motion.

TLO Daily Update Feb 19th w. Diane Sare - U.S.-Russia Talks Open the Door to the New Paradigm

That the postwar unipolar world order has fallen apart might be the understatement of the century. Today, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, high-level delegations from the United States and Russia met for four-and-a-half hours as a significant step toward re-establishing normal bilateral relations between the world's biggest nuclear superpowers, and resolving the Ukraine conflict in a way which, in the words of meeting participant and U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, is "a permanent end to the war, and not a temporary end, as we've seen in the past." Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche commented, "This is a relief to the whole world. This is exactly what Dr. Naledi Pandor demanded at the recent International Peace Coalition meeting ( • Ending the Cycle of Violence in South... Where are the adults in the room? That table in Riyadh was full of adults. That they came up with a pathway to solve all problems, taking care of the interests of all others afflicted by the conflict, is very promising." The readouts from both sides of the meeting were very positive, affirming the importance of the U.S.-Russia relationship and outlining measures that were agreed upon by the participants. These include appointing ambassadors and lifting restrictions on diplomatic missions in the two countries; appointing high-level teams to begin discussions of a solution to the Ukraine conflict; establishing a dialogue for resumption of economic cooperation, including in areas of energy and space exploration; and preparing a meeting between U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin. The reaction from the "kids table" of EU leaders (https://eir.news/2025/02/news/no-agre..., illegitimate Ukrainian President Zelenskyy (https://eir.news/2025/02/news/zelensk..., and most notably, British intelligence-linked think tanks (https://eir.news/2025/02/news/rusi-as..., has been utter panic. Articles in British intelligence mouthpieces the Royal United Services Institute and Chatham House call on Britain and Europe in general to rally the troops to carry the war against Russia down to the last Ukrainian, since the U.S. seems to be bowing out. The Russian response to such childish yet insipid behavior has been very blunt: Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova observed (https://eir.news/2025/02/news/zakharo...) on Feb. 18 that "Russian-American contacts at high and the highest levels are causing real hysteria among Euro-Atlantic Russophobes," and Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said (https://eir.news/2025/02/news/nebenzi...) that due to their Russophobic and maniacal mindset, European elites "won't do for guarantors or even mediators in the Ukraine war . We can tell it also from what was said the other day by European participants of the Munich Security Conference—their statements were reckless, hawkish and divorced from reality." Russian officials have also made very clear that they will not drop the issue of what they see as major root causes of the conflict: the intention to pull Ukraine into NATO, the lack of security guarantees for Russia, and Western support for Nazi elements inside the Ukrainian regimes. The developments in Riyadh have opened a wide gulf between the direction the world can take with cooperation between sovereign nations for peace, and the troglodyte system of war and empire that has dominated up until now.

TLO Fireside Chat w. Dennis Speed Feb. 20th – The ‘Rules-Based’ Era is Over

The entire post-1991 “unipolar order,” a disease which has sought to subjugate the vast majority of nations for the sole purpose of preserving, not one country’s hegemony over others, but the hegemony of a dying imperial monetary system that has no allegiance to any nation—the Anglo-Dutch financial system of the City Of London and Wall Street— has begun to crumble in the past week. The commitment to thermonuclear war with Russia, in defense of that monetary system, dominated the Obama-Biden administrations, and also the Cheney-Bush “9/11” administration. Powered by the British-engineered “Russiagate” hoax, the intent was to prevent the first Trump Administration from making meaningful strides toward either Russia or China. That treason against the human race has now been superseded. The U.S. and Russia, whose delegations met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, have resumed the path of rational discussion among equals, while completely normalizing relations. The hardline war hawk establishment in Europe has not taken too kindly to this initiative, with such saboteurs for peace as Boris Johnson attempting once again to destroy any normalization of relations between the United States and Russia. A desperate, ragged, and unhinged Volodymyr Zelenskyy has taken to publicly denouncing Trump for not inviting him to Riyadh, which led to Trump calling him a “Dictator without Elections.” These are all welcome developments, among those who support peace, but of course, much more is needed to bring about the kind of changes in policy which take into account the tectonic shifts emanating from the BRICS+, China’s Belt & Road Initiative, and the sense of resilience and optimism emerging from the Global South. The reaction by the Global South against Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, for example, is among the issues yet to be resolved. Lyndon LaRouche, in his 1983 policy paper, “Saudi Arabia In The Year 2023,” situates Southwest Asia in its proper role as a strategic crossroad for the world, which if developed through water management systems, high-speed rail corridors, and nuclear power, can play a part in a new, security and development architecture as envisioned by the Schiller Institute and its founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche. Kynan Thistlethwaite will present excerpts of LaRouche’s “Saudi Arabia in the Year 2023.” Diane Sare will give a report on the LaRouche Organization’s recent deployment to Washington, D.C. with Doctors Against Genocide.

TLO Manhattan Project Feb 15th: Harley Schlanger, Mike Robinson, and Cliff Kiracofe

Several developments are now changing the course of history. Today, the three-day Munich Security Conference has opened, which has led to much frenzy and outrage from the Atlanticist faction of war hawks and oligarchs in Global NATO who wish to deny the reality of Russia’s defeat of Ukraine on the battlefield. The opening of the Munich Security Conference was addressed by the U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, who said among many good and bad things, that democracy and free speech are being suppressed in Europe, citing the canceling of the Romanian elections as an example. The Romanian opposition candidate, Calin Georgescu, who had won the first round of elections and has made clear his opposition to NATO’s escalation of the war in Ukraine, was blatantly barred from participating in the second round by the Supreme Court, under faulty pretenses of Russian “election interference.”

The purpose is to restore U.S.-Russian relations, which would include a Trump-Putin summit in the near term. The old system of European colonialism, which lasted nearly six centuries, is ending. Presentations in Europe last week by Defense Secretary Hegseth and Vice President Vance left European officials "gobsmacked", according to Foreign Policy magazine. Those speeches were preceded by a phone call between Trump and Putin, and followed by a call between Secretary of State Rubio and Sergei Lavrov. TLO Symposium w. Diane Sare Feb 14th – BlackRock's War Against the Nation State

At the Federal Reserve's annual Jackson Hole Economic Symposium in August 2019, both Bank of England head Mark Carney and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink asserted a chilling plan for the London-Wall Street financial giants and the banks they partner with to effectively end the power of nation states to control their own finances and budgets. The policy amounted to a “proposed” global dictatorship over the economic policy of otherwise duly elected, sovereign nations. Of course BlackRock and fellow "asset management" giants like State Street and Vanguard are a central part of the Military-Industrial-Financial Complex which has become the principal instrumentality by which the British-American financier class have been able to produce, supply, and operate weapons used to try to enforce a unipolar world order through war, militarily and financially. Taxpayers in the United States and NATO nations support these vast sums of money thrown away annually in economic waste and physical destruction as this revenue stream bolsters the stockholders of the weapons industry. Now Friedrich Merz, the former chairman of the supervisory board of BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG which has been a central part of the recent devastation of the German economy, is threatening to become the next chancellor of the Republic of Germany! Will the new Trump administration in Washington, D.C., which has openly declared its hostility to financial "waste" and forever wars, now finally pull the plug on Blackrock, et.al. and re-establish actual national sovereignty? Join Diane and EIR economics expert Richard Freeman on this Friday's Symposium as they discuss through this vital issue.

IPC Feb 14th – Helga LaRouche, Naledi Pandor, and others – Creating Peace in Southwest Asia

We are honored to have Her Excellency Naledi Pandor, former Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, and others to be announced joining us this Friday. Friends of the International Peace Coalition, The events of the past sixteen months in Gaza have presented unimaginable levels of horror and bloodshed. Not for eighty years has the world witnessed the kind of cold-blooded destruction of life that the Netanyahu government Israel has unleashed there—properly called a “genocide” by South Africa’s historic case at the International Court of Justice—with the full political backing and provision of arms from the United States. This has been made all the more painful by the absurd notion from some in the U.S. and Israel that the only way to secure a lasting peace here is for Gazans to be permanently expelled from their land—a notion that has received almost universal condemnation from around the world. Now is the time to organize for new, profound solutions to this crisis. As U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said of Trump’s Gaza relocation proposal, “nobody has a realistic solution” other than Trump, adding that others should “come up with their own solutions if they don’t like Mr. Trump’s.” The International Peace Coalition is taking up Mr. Waltz’s proposal. This Friday, Feb. 14, the International Peace Coalition is holding a special event on the emergency in Gaza and Southwest Asia as a whole. There is a solution to end the cycle of violence and create a future for all people in the region—the LaRouche Oasis Plan—which proposes to transform the region through actual economic development for all. This, along with a needed two-state solution, can create the conditions for long-term peace in this region. A solution of this type in Southwest Asia would be exemplary of the kind of new security and development architecture which Helga Zepp-LaRouche has repeatedly advocated for on a global scale, as enunciated in her Ten Principles. As Her Excellency Naledi Pandor said while speaking at a Schiller Institute conference in December 2024: "It is incumbent on all of us to adopt the ideas set out in the Schiller Institute development framework to really ensure that all the aspects of human endeavor which advance human progress are embraced by governments in the South as well as governments in the North. We should encourage a new human relation across the world; one that is devoted to empowering all human beings and ensuring that we develop a more prosperous, a more engaged, a more skilled humanity able to address the fundamental problems that confront all of us. Because alongside the problems, we have a human capacity—an ingenuity—of problem resolution; and we need to unite in drawing that capacity together."

TLO Update Feb 14th w. Harley Schlanger – Globalists Reeling from Multiple Shocks!

The leaders of NATO and the European Union are running around like the proverbial chickens with their heads cut off. They bought the globalist line, that they must prepare for war with Russia -- a war they can't afford, and would lose. But the truth is that Putin doesn't want war, and neither does Trump. The next step is to reject the fantasies about the strong U.S. economy -- a Biden narrative based on massive increases in unpayable debt -- and take up LaRouche's ideas, beginning with peace depending on cooperation between sovereign nations for economic development. This includes joint efforts to realize the Oasis Plan for the Mideast. For more on the crisis, and the solutions, here are links to two recent interviews, and today's special International Peace Coalition (IPC) event, with former South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor.

Using the images of gaunt hostages, who clearly suffered in captivity prior to their release by Hamas, as justification to end the ceasefire, is typical behavior for Netanyahu. He never intended to continue the ceasefire, as he admitted. Nor does he show any recognition of the suffering caused by his reaction to Hamas' Oct. 7 attack, no empathy for the tens of thousands of innocent victims killed on his orders, nor for more than 2 million Palestinians whose lives have been disrupted. He was indicted by the ICC for war crimes, yet he continues to add new pages to his offenses. This is not Chutzpah, it is sociopathic behavior.

Pierre Fermat made a hypothesis in the mid-17th century that fundamentally revolutionized science. Lyndon LaRouche in May 2009: "The End of Sykes-Picot: Moving Beyond Colonialism"

In May of 2009, Lyndon LaRouche was invited to speak at Central Connecticut State University lecture series sponsored by the late anti-Zionist Jewish activist and scholar Norton Mezvinsky. LaRouche's lecture, titled "The End of Sykes-Picot: Moving Beyond Colonialism," was delivered before an audience of approximately 200 faculty, students, and guests. In November of 1975, Lyndon LaRouche and his associates had organized a seminar in Paris on his Middle East development plan (later called the 'Oasis Plan'), with the planned participation of France and Middle East and African nations. The seminar, which was to have been held at the Iraqi ambassador's residence, was directly sabotaged by the U.S. embassy in Paris on the explicit orders of then Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger. Over subsequent decades, LaRouche continued to put forth this detailed proposal of a 'New Marshall Plan' for the Middle East, which ultimately gained the support of many inside Israel, as well as Palestinians and others within the Arab world. What made LaRouche's 'Oasis Plan' so dangerous to the British imperial system and its captive post-war American foreign policy establishment typified by Kissinger, was that it was never meant to be some simple "local" solution to the problems of the Middle East, but rather a central part of a strategy to end the entire dying colonial system globally, hence the title of his lecture here. Fortunately, that anti-colonial spirit that characterized the American Revolution has now been rekindled in the Global South, as typified by China's Belt and Road Initiative and the BRICS process. Will the United States return to her own pro-growth, anti-colonial tradition and now finally, after a half a century, adopt LaRouche's policy? As recent history has shown, any other pragmatic, so-called "solutions" within the legacy geopolitical framework will continue to fail miserably.

Last night's "debate" between two candidates for Chancellor of Germany, Scholz of the SPD and Merz of the CDU, was a classic dud. TLO Manhattan Project Feb 8th – Build A Polyphonic, Not Polycentric, Architecture for Peace

Yesterday’s International Peace Coalition meeting, addressed by Schiller Institute chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche, focused in large part on the Feb. 4 meeting between President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minisiter Bibi Netanyahu, particularly Trump’s remarks that the U.S. would lead a massive deportation (i.e. ethnic cleansing) operation in the Gaza Strip clearing millions of Palestinians while relocating them to Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia, and other nations. Of course, Netanyahu smiled gleefully at Trump’s proposal. ” Helga Zepp-LaRouche, speaking at the meeting of the International Peace Coalition pointed out that “U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that since this is the only proposal and Trump’s proposal is the best proposal; he said: ‘The fact is that nobody has a realistic solution, and he [Trump] put some very bold fresh new ideas out on the table, I don’t think should be criticized in any way. It’s going to bring the entire region to come up with their own solutions if they don’t like Mr. Trump’s solutions. But one of the key points President Trump made last night was “tell me what real better alternatives they have ever been offered.”’”

TLO Symposium Feb 7th w. Diane Sare – Middle East Peace? Only LaRouche's 'Oasis Plan' Will Work!

Everyone is speculating on whether President Trump intended to make such an absurd proposal as the United States taking over Gaza and expelling all the Palestinians seriously, or as a bargaining point. Either way, it will never work that way, and to even express such a thing exposes a disturbing lack of understanding of the regional dynamic, and a lack of recognition that millions of Americans voted for Trump because they hoped he would end the genocide which the Biden/Harris team had been supporting, while claiming that they were "working on stopping it." 50 years ago, Lyndon LaRouche put forward a proposal for a two-state solution based on addressing the real crisis of the entire region: the lack of water. Tonight I will take up his proposal with Jason Ross, of LaRouche's Science Team, and Hussein Askary of the Schiller Institute and the Swedish Belt and Road Institute. IPC Meeting Feb 7th – The LaRouche Oasis Plan: Water, Not War! A Human Future for Palestine

International Peace Coalition Meeting #88, Friday February 7, 11am ET/5pm CET We will be joined by Larry Johnson, Jonathon Kuttab and others for the discussion. Join the discussion period on Zoom: https://schillerinstitute.nationbuild... First: Don’t try to brush aside the Trump-Netanyahu press conference of Feb. 4 as just another case of the President throwing out preposterous proposals as a “negotiating tactic,” in which he didn’t really mean what he said: That the United States would take over and “own” Gaza; that the U.S. would use military force “if necessary” to achieve that; and that 1.8 million Palestinians would be “relocated” to neighboring countries (who all quickly restated that they would not be party to such ethnic cleansing). Unlike others, “I was not completely surprised” by Trump’s statements, Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated during her Feb. 5 webcast dialogue with veteran intelligence analyst Larry Johnson. “We had already known about this plan, which was issued for the first time by Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office last May.” Furthermore, EIR’s Daily Alert of Feb. 2 reported that Netanyahu’s “ostensible agenda with Trump includes discussing the nature of Phase 2 of the ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas. But Netanyahu has a deeper agenda: to get Trump’s backing for his genocidal plan to expel all Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza and turn the area into an ethnically-cleansed part of Greater Israel—a long-standing dream of the British Foreign Office and its geopolitical ideology.” There are 61,000 dead Palestinians, at last official count, to attest to the fact that the application of that policy is already underway in Gaza. Second: The only way to achieve peace in the region is to simultaneously move on the political and economic fronts. A two-state solution, in which Palestine’s sovereignty is recognized and at last implemented, is essential. At the same time, the massive reconstruction of the area must begin as part of an overall development plan for the region – the LaRouche Oasis Plan – in which China and the nations of Europe and the United States jointly cooperate to build nuclear plants to desalinate vast quantities of fresh water to green the desert, and construct canals and other major infrastructure. The Oasis Plan is the proper answer to National Security Adviser Mike Waltz’s effort to backpedal in the face of the storm of national and international opposition, falsely stating on Feb. 5 that “nobody has a realistic solution” other than the Trump plan. “I don’t think [Trump] should be criticized in any way,” Waltz argued. “It’s going to bring the entire region to come up with their own solutions if they don’t like Mr. Trump’s solution. Waltz and his boss should be informed that Americans do not like Trump’s proposal, and that he would be smart to study and implement the LaRouche Oasis Plan instead. Third: There is an underlying axiomatic problem in the West (including the United States), that has to be addressed head-on, or the genocide will not be stopped. And that is the deeply-rooted belief that the fundamental interests of the United States are at odds with those of other countries, that there is not a common interest that all Mankind shares. That view is as false as it is dangerous. “Every time a country thinks that they are the only relevant one, the superior one, I think it goes in an awfully wrong direction,” Zepp-LaRouche asserted. “Speaking as a German, I’m always wary. It doesn’t matter which country it is: if they think they are better than others, it has the seed of a potential catastrophe. I think the only way the world will eventually get to peaceful development is if the rightful demand of every single country on the planet has their security interests protected and has their right to development protected.”

TLO Fireside Chat February 6 – A Higher Movement for Peace Through Economic Development -

Join us at 9pm ET with Dennis Speed, Jose Vega, Kynan Thistlethwaite and special guest Carl Osgood - EIR Strategic Military Analyst. The Feb. 4 press conference of President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has caused an international uproar, with many nations and institutions denouncing Trump’s plan to forcefully remove over 1.8 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip into neighboring nations, using the U.S. military “if necessary” to achieve that. However, denouncing this move for what it is, without providing a clear alternative, certainly will not change the trajectory of the present situation. People who have considered Lyndon LaRouche’s Oasis Plan, involving massive construction of Palestine and the entire Southwest Asia region, in which China, Russia, and the United States would jointly cooperate to build canals, high-speed rail corridors, and nuclear power plants to desalinate vast quantities of water from the Mediterranean Sea to green the desert, is now, actually, the ONLY practical, reasonable solution for the region. Any political solution put forward cannot function without this crucial economic component. It is urgent that people swing into action now, without wasting any time, behind the Oasis Plan. Governments and institutions need to support it as publicly and quickly as possible. The LaRouche Organization, over the past fifty years, has established itself as a viable body of independent policy formulation. Dozens of intense policy studies, written by/or commissioned by Lyndon LaRouche himself in the model of his original discovery of the “LaRouche-Riemann” method, are available to all who wish to discover how a new security and development architecture benefiting all nations can be established, instead of the transactional, geopolitical swindles which have resulted in zero-sum wars, instability, and depression. Tonight’s Fireside Chat, on Zoom, Rumble, and other platforms, will feature Carl Osgood, writer for the Executive Intelligence Review Daily Alert, who will provide an overview of Southwest Asia, the NATO-Russia war, and other leading global developments, and Dr. Cliff Kiracofe, of the Washington Institute for Peace and Development.

Larry Johnson and Helga Zepp-LaRouche: “Breaking Through the Fog of the Unipolar Narratives”

Join Larry C. Johnson and Helga Zepp-LaRouche in their discussion following Tuesday's confirmation hearings for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr and Tulsi Gabbart as well as the Trump-Netanyahu meeting. Send your questions to [email protected] Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated in a discussion with international collaborators that the world was in great suspense regarding the outcomes of various breaking developments. She posed the question whether these would lead to hopeful solutions or merely more of the same. Zepp-LaRouche noted the significance of confirming Robert Kennedy, Jr. for HHS and Tulsi Gabbard for DNI. Both were successfully voted out of Senate committees this Tuesday, and now go for confirmation by the full Senate. The vote for Patel, at a date not yet known, would also play a role in defining the outcome. She expressed hope that if these individuals were confirmed, it could result in a substantial cleanout of what is generally referred to as the Deep State, or more accurately, the permanent bureaucracy, which has been responsible for what went wrong in the United States for at least the past 50 years. Additionally, Zepp-LaRouche mentioned that Netanyahu was already in the U.S. and would meet with Trump on Tuesday, after a meeting with Witkoff. This meeting is anticipated with great suspense, especially by millions of Palestinians and people across the Middle East and beyond. She raised the question whether Netanyahu's policies would continue and whether Trump would again advocate displacing Palestinians to Egypt, Jordan, and Indonesia. Or, will the plan revealed by Netanyahu's office last May, which involved significant real estate development in the Gaza Strip and the displacement of the Palestinian population, be pursued? This has been rejected by these governments, and furthermore, a recent meeting of six Arab nations has declared that there is no solution other than a two-state solution for Palestine. Zepp-LaRouche said that we would likely gain insight into the situation on Tuesday, pondering whether Trump would fulfill his promise to end wars and bring about a change in the current circumstances. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Larry C.
