S1 Ep 9292. The Overrated 30,000-foot View

Welcome to another episode of the Leadership in a Nutshell podcast. We are cracking the code of that driven mind. I want to thank you for being back with me. This is episode 92! In today's episode, we are going to discuss The Overrated 30,000-foot View concept. I really want to spend a couple of minutes talking about perspective and getting you to challenge yours. Let's dive in! [00:01 - 01:46] Opening Segment I introduce the topic of this episode. I want to focus on the 30,000-foot view concept. Why is this view overrated? You guys should start thinking outside of the box. Take a step back and view what really works for your business. [01:47 - 12:21] · Let's look for a different perspective! The challenge that this 30,000-foot view concept represents: What is it going to do for me? What behaviour changes am I going to get that will improve and impact my results? What is the actual goal of taking a different view in your business? It's all about perspective and seeing a different reality. I'll provide some examples of how this works not only in business but also in our daily life. What I really want you to take away from today's episode: All views are necessary and valuable. You can have the same view as someone else and see things in a different way. All views need a common goal to share. [12:22 - 13:23] Closing Segment Re-cap of the episode Final words Tweetable Quotes: " A change of view creates a change of perspective, a change of perspective creates a new reality." - Kenny Chapman "Doing things rather than thinking things or hearing things that don't really drive a massive behavior change." - Kenny Chapman Let's Connect!
