Sharing Jesus is great, but you have to be careful while doing so. We have the Bible for a reason, so let's use it!

Give sin an inch, and it will take a mile. When you tolerate sin, it starts to look normal. Pastor JD warns today of the dangers of giving in slack, even if it's just once. When you look at sin as normal, and it doesn't look so repulsive anymore, you're in a dangerous place to let yourself slide into its bondage.

When you're strapping down something with a ratchet strap, each pull of the handle makes its grip tighter and tighter. The grip of sin is something similar. Today, Pastor JD's going to show you that the more you let sin into your life, the tighter its grip on you becomes, and each time it tightens, the harder it is to escape.

Don't let sin and the influence of the Devil creep into your life. You can put a frog in water and start it to boil until it dies, and it won't ever notice the temperature increasing. Today, Pastor JD will show you that sin is the same way. What starts small can slowly become much more severe without you even noticing!

The intention of your heart matters when you use Jesus in a conversation. If you are sharing the good news of Christ with someone, the conversation will change; but why then, do so many use God's name in vain without effect? Most of us with kids know what Pastor JD is talking about. Even if our kids are needy, make messes, or do things against us, we still want the best for them and will love them despite it all. How much more can our perfect heavenly Father love us as his children?

Satan is often referred to as the father of lies. His whole objective is to get our eyes off Jesus with deception, lies, and distractions. We must stay alert and diligent!
