All the signs are pointing to a peace treaty being presented to the nation of Israel, THIS YEAR. 2019 just might be the year that the antichrist is revealed and the peace treaty is broken after three and half years. But, friends...what must come before that? ...the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ! Even so, come quickly LORD Jesus!

It's hard to imagine the clock going backwards at this point. The nation of Israel is surrounded by her enemies and our government is touting a peace treaty coming soon. Friends, the time is short. We know that the Bible is clear about the peace treaty that WILL be made with Israel in the very last days. Could it be that this is the VERY peace treaty we've been waiting for?

When your perspective of God is one of fear, it’s easy to misinterpret His displays of power. As Pastor JD explains in today’s message, God does not want His followers to fear Him. When He rises up and displays His omnipotence, it is to remind you that He is on your side, and no enemy or trial you face is a match for Him.

When you start to feel like your sins and weaknesses are just too much for God – that He is punishing you and could never love you or forgive you – that is a lie of the enemy. In today’s message, Pastor JD will remind you that our God is a loving God. He may allow trials for your growth, but He only desires to draw you nearer – not push you away.

Job was going through enough. Yet, on top of his suffering, his supposed friends felt it their duty to poke his wounds with discouraging and judgmental words. A critical spirit has no place in the Church. It is yours and every other believers job to build each other up. There will be times God will bring up issues that need to be confronted, but as Pastor JD explains in today’s message, your focus should not be on the negative or on looking for weaknesses to exploit in others.

There are some in the Body of Christ who teach that God is done with the nation of Israel and that the modern church has replaced Israel. This is known as replacement theology. When you decide to follow Jesus, you are embracing a life of refinement by trial. It will not be easy or comfortable. God will allow hardship and temptation because He loves you. As Pastor JD will explain in today’s message, in those times, you can grow in your faith as you come to the end of your capabilities and are forced to depend fully on God.

Everything you experience in life is an opportunity to bring glory to God. As Job trudged through trial after trial, he never stopped believing that. As Pastor JD explains in today’s message, when you are confronted with hardships, you have reason for hope. You may not have the strength to go on, but God will provide all the strength you need.

God is not mad at you. When you experience hardship, Satan often will come in and take that opportunity to feed you lies about God. He will do his best to convince you that you did something wrong and now you’re being punished, but as Pastor JD reminds us in today’s message, God allows hardships as opportunities for you to more fully rely on Him.

You might hear the account of Job and be overwhelmed. You may question how anyone could possibly maintain their faith in God in such horrible circumstances. But, as Pastor JD reminds us in today’s message, God will never allow you to go through anything that is beyond what you can handle - with His help.

Job was in pretty dire straits. If you imagine yourself in the worst scenario possible, that’s where he’s at. He’s experienced loss that very few of us can fathom. Yet, as Pastor JD continues to study this extremely unfortunate man, let yourself be encouraged and inspired by his loyalty and reverence for God in the face of his hardship.

Pastor JD reminds us that God is always good. This is the one thing we can rest assured in for it is absolute truth. Throughout our lives we will see evils. Some of them may be bad enough that they cause us to question “where was God”? When these times arise be sure to know Jesus well enough to know that He is good and He will redeem all things.

Job's friends believed that good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people. Pastor JD explains to us that when they saw Job suffering they could not believe he was being put through such pain for no reason. Surely he had deserved it all somehow. Today we are taught why they were wrong to think this way .

This may be a hard thing for us to grasp, but the reality is we will see bad people succeed. Pastor JD tells us that when we see this it's important that we not question God's integrity. We must remember that God is always good. Though the evil may prosper here they will someday have to answer to God for the things they have done.

So much of our world is in turmoil. And yet, things here in the United States seem to be going very well. The economy has picked up, the overall picture of the future looks good, there is a lot to be thankful for. Perhaps things are eerily TOO good? Pastor JD will remind us that just before the return of Christ, things will be...well, just as they are right now.

Despite all the hardships God allowed him to go through, Job still wanted nothing more than to restore his relationship with Him. Pastor JD tells us that this should be our goal. To long for God, even if we are in the worst of situations. When we consider Jesus to be the center of our lives we will be able to make it through the most difficult of times.

Jobs friends refused to consider the error in their theology. As a result they became prideful and harsh towards Job. Pastor JD challenges us to consider how we treat others in the church. Are we looking for others to fail so that we might prove how good we are, or are we humbly placing ourselves in others shoes so that we might know their pain?

When adversity strikes, you HAVE to depend on the Lord. But when life in this world seems too good, you don't look forward to life in Heaven as much. Pastor JD will teach that some spiritual places are only reached when you go through a trial. The challenges of this world plants inside of you compassion for others who are suffering and it gives you the urgency to share the hope that is only found in Christ.

Even after logical discussion, Jobs friends were unwilling to consider that their religious rational could be wrong. They continued to claim that Job was being punished because of something he had done. Pastor JD teaches us how dangerous it is for us to become locked on religious doctrine. We must remember to seek Jesus and not legalism.

We must be certain that the things which we do and say are done so with a heart of love. Pastor JD reminds us today that it's possible to speak a truth with the wrong heart. It's when this happens that people often get hurt. To be more like Christ, we must learn to differentiate between speaking prideful and loving truths.

The United States pulling out of Syria is an astounding turn of events! Is this the precursor to President Donald Trump's “big deal”? We know he has a strong desire to be THE president who brokered peace in the middle east. That said, we also know that peace in the middle east will NEVER happen...that is, until Jesus returns and brings peace.

Once again, Pastor JD paints an amazing picture of what appears to be more and more evidence building up to the fact that we are in the very last days. The advancements by Russia and the removal of the United States from Syria are both indicators of a possible peace treaty that could be presented to Israel.

Pastor JD reminds us of the power of our tongues. The unkind things that we say about others, has the power to gestate into horrid things. It destroy relationships, families, and even churches. Be careful with the things that you say. Train yourself to speak only words of blessing, wisdom, and truth. Ask Jesus to guide you in your words.

Jobs friends insisted that his failure to admit his sin was why God punished him. Pastor JD teaches us that Job responded by asking them why he would continue suffering if admitting his sin was all that was needed to end it. Jobs friends looked to God as one who punished the bad, but not the good. We learn today, the dangers of such thinking.


 We mustn't allow pride to enter our hearts. Even if we are the best follower of Christ we must be certain that our accomplishments are given to Him. Pastor JD warns us that pride in ourselves will ultimately lead towards cruelty towards others, and a disregard for Jesus's grace. Approach all successes with a heart of humility and thanksgiving.

Despite the horrible things which God allowed Job to go through, Job remained consistent in only longing for he and God to be on good terms. His greatest concern was that he had somehow lost God's love. Pastor JD teaches us that this is what we should all aspire towards. A deep longing to please our God, and make Him proud.

Jobs friends had an incorrect theology that good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people. Pastor JD tells us that because of their incorrect theology they were incapable to show grace to Job. They had to believe that he had done something wrong, or accept that they too could receive hardship without reason.

We are to trust God period! Pastor JD challenges us to trust God through all situations. There will be times when we cannot understand what God is doing, but nonetheless we are to have faith in Him. As you come to new trials, or look back to trials of the past, know that God has a plan for you and that He is guiding you to it.

It's important for us to understand that we will never be able to grasp the ways of God. He functions on a timeline we cannot realize with a strategy which we will never be able to fathom. Pastor JD tells us that God will allow things to happen to us that we will never understand. We must make peace that it is not our job to. We are to simply trust in Him.

All people, whether they're good or bad, will experience good things. When they do it is a gift from God. Pastor JD teaches us that God does not exclusively bless good deeds with good blessings. In fact we may find, that like Job, if we are faithful to God we will earn ourself a harsh trial which will not feel like a good thing at all.

Could it be that this is the first phase in the “Big Deal” that Trump has been talking about? We know that peace in the middle east is our president's greatest goal. That said, we know that this is not going to happen...peace in the middle east will only come when Jesus returns.

Job was wrong in thinking that God could possibly allow bad things to happen to him as a punishment for his past. We must understand that fellow Christians can come under the oppression of the enemy. As such, when we are in our hardships we must test the words of our fellow Christians advice with God's Word. When we are in times of trial we must have faith that God has a reason for it. He cannot make His reason apparent to us, for if He does we will likely miss out on the actual lesson He intends. Pastor JD assures us that God is with us in all trials and that God allows our trials for a reason. We must have faith that the hardships we endure are for the best.

Jobs friends said his suffering was due to secret sins. They believed God would only punish someone so drastically if they truly deserved it. Pastor JD helps us understand the importance of not presuming to know Gods intentions. God chose Job because He was confident in Jobs ability to remain faithful. His friends were wrong to claim otherwise.

Pastor JD teaches us though, that we are expected to continue in our faith despite it. We are to use despair as means to build our faith more.

For Job everything went extremely bad extremely quick. His joyous and peaceful life instantly turned into great suffering, yet he did not lose hope in God. Pastor JD encourages us to keep our eyes on the Lord even in the worst of times. With Jesus we can get through anything and will ultimately find the most holy of ending. An eternity with Him.
