Older generations look at young people today and think, ‘they don’t know what they’re doing.’ But Pastor JD reminds us today that, life changes with each generation. Today, Pastor JD reminds us that emotions – doubt, fear, shame – were as real for them as they are for us. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that they didn’t struggle the same as you and I.

For a very long time, the prophecies made in Revelation seemed too far-fetched to ever be true. But today, as Pastor JD reminds us, it’s not as implausible as it once was. We now have the means to see these prophecies come to fruition. This means that the return of Jesus Christ isn’t as far away as it may feel.

So many people can’t handle the pressure of “knowing”, yet we all want to know what’s going on! But wisdom is more than information – as Pastor JD reminds us today – it’s also the application of information. If you don’t apply what you know to your everyday life, what good is it? Don’t waste the knowledge you do have.

Many people feel lost if they don’t have a plan. But how are we supposed to plan when we know that Jesus will be returning so soon? We often jump right to praying for God to get us out of the mess we're in. Jesus is in control of our lives – both present and future. Only He can save you. And get ready! Because He is coming again very soon.

We live in a world that is full of deception, and the bad news is, it’s growing every day. As believers – we should be set apart from that deception. But today, Pastor JD reminds us how even we call fall prey. As we get closer and closer to the rapture of the church, we want to be found waiting for Christ – not caught in trickery.

While none of us are excited to hit rock bottom, many of us recognize the hard times of life as being the most beneficial. Anything that points to Christ, the Devil will try to tear down. Any time God gets the glory, the evil one will try to steal the show.
