Many of us would be quick to agree that there's often barriers in place when it comes to the translation of languages and cultures. When it comes to the Bible, this can be especially true. In today's message, Pastor JD reflects on this reality while teaching us how a minor variation can result in a major misunderstanding.

Today Pastor JD teaches us about two kinds of worship: silent and thunderously loud. God is the picture of perfection, and He is forever worthy of our worship. Pastor JD wants you to know that while sometimes quiet and silent worship is the best, at other times, it’s necessary to lift your voice and hands in reverent worship of the Almighty.

Pastor JD explains what fear is, and how it can be a form of not trusting in Jesus. Jesus wants to give you His love and peace, but sometimes the trials of life might make you question that fact. Well, Pastor JD wants you to know that you shouldn’t question the Lord’s will, for He does everything with purpose and reason, even when you aren’t able to see it yet.

Pastor JD shows us what God’s jealousy & love for us means. God’s the only one you can count on when everything’s going wrong (or right) in life – so you should always be turning to Him. Pastor JD teaches us that it’s important not to forget that fact when we’re at our lowest points. Have you tried calling out to God when life overwhelms you? Seek Him today.

In today’s update, Pastor JD mentions three ways you can insert Christianity into a conversation. First, ask, “Is there anything I can pray for you?” Second, share what God has done in your life. And third, when you have their attention, share the ABCs of faith. A – admit you are a sinner. B – Believe Jesus Christ is Lord. C – Call upon the name of the Lord.

Today, Pastor JD asks the difficult question, “Where is the United States in the end times?” Christianity in this country is in a rapid decline. Pastor JD and many other Christian leaders theorize that this is because pastors don’t preach the Word of God and Christians don’t share their faith. Corrupt politicians and legislation are not the cause, but only a mirror of our society. 

Today Pastor JD teaches us about God’s never ending love and devotion to us, His children. Trials come and go on this earth, but it’s easy to get overwhelmed in the midst of them. However, Pastor JD wants you to see that God is right there with you, walking through the storm by your side. You aren’t alone even when you feel like it.

Today Pastor JD teaches us to cry out to God when life becomes too much or our weakness begins to take over. God loves you, and He wants to see you grow in His word and His strength. Pastor JD wants you to know that God will see you through the storm, but you must admit your need for Him and His saving grace.

Today Pastor JD demonstrates the importance of seeking God, in the good times and the bad. When life gets hard, or we go through a rough patch, it can be easy to want to give up and close off everyone, including God. But Pastor JD says that it’s in these moments that you should earnestly be seeking out the Lord! He will give you strength to get through it!

Today Pastor JD speaks about the day of judgement, when God will judge each of us individually and accordingly. That may sound scary, because no one likes to be judged. But Pastor JD shows us that we can be ready for that day by living our lives for Jesus. Have you been living your life for Him? It’s not too late to begin anew today. God’s waiting to hear from you.

In today’s message, Pastor JD implores you to take the return of the Lord seriously. Live a life that reflects the fact that you believe His return is imminent and share the gospel with urgency. Shine your light in this dark world which is getting darker by the minute. But also, be so excited for the day the trumpet will sound and you're caught up in the clouds with your Lord! 

More Christians have died in recent years than in the entire history of the church of Jesus Christ. Today, Pastor JD reminds us that God is still in control. Further, what do we expect? As Jesus’ return draws near, the Bible tells us that evil and lawlessness will increase. We cannot react in anger or fear. We must continue to have patience, be encouraged, and live Godly lives.

Today Pastor JD speaks about the cure for fearfulness. It’s easy to feel fear and anxiousness about current or future events and situations, but you need to remember that God is always with you and He’ll never abandon you. Pastor JD says that it’s important to trust God… always. Because trust in God is the one thing that can take all your fears away.

Pastor JD teaches us about the perils of allowing bitterness to grow inside us. It’s almost too easy to be bitter. But bitterness is like acid. It’ll eat you up from the inside out, leaving you unrecognizable. Pastor JD says to stop it before it destroys you and those around you. Are you letting bitterness rule over you, your thoughts, and your actions? Cut it out of your life today.

Today Pastor JD discusses the power of words, and how they might be used to build someone up, or to tear them down. Have you ever caught yourself gossiping about something you heard through the grapevine? How do you know that what you heard is true? Pastor JD warns you to be careful of speaking about things you haven’t witnessed for yourself.

You'll hear today exactly what Jesus did for you. You'll learn from Pastor JD that the Savior of the world gave up everything to be with people, the creation He loves, and then went to the cross to die for your sins. Pastor JD will then ask how you want to respond – are you ready to turn from your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

Jesus understands that life can be confusing. He sees you in your time of trial and He's compassionate. He loves you! Today Pastor JD will remind you that even men of faith like Peter and John the Baptist had their moments of questioning God's goodness, but in the end, they were willing to trust. Jesus is worthy of your faith, no matter what you're going through today!

Today Pastor JD speaks about the dangers of a lying tongue or a deceitful word. He teaches us that it’s important for us to speak the truth, because a lie that seems innocent to one person.. might in fact be detrimental to another’s life. It’s important that you work on taming your tongue if you find yourself speaking out dishonestly. Ask for God’s guidance in this task.

David had lost his joy after grieving the Holy Spirit with his terrible sins. Pastor JD will teach the work of God in the midst of our brokenness. Brokenness brings you closer to God in ways that you could not otherwise. You experience greater humility and compassion for people. Brokenness restores joy, praise, and thanksgiving for God's incredible mercy!

King David deliberately sinned, and now he's confronted for his unrepentance. Pastor JD will teach what happens when David finally confesses his sin. He's completely broken. But it's in your brokenness that you experience God in a way like never before. He meets you there. God values your broken heart as a pleasing sacrifice to Him. 

David concealed his sin, which caused tragic consequences. Many lives were affected and lost because of his lies. Pastor JD will share this story that goes from bad to worse. David murdered to cover his adultery. Sin breeds sin. He had many chances to confess it all and stop the snowball of mistakes... but he didn't.

Pastor JD will teach about these future events after the rapture of the Church. He'll highlight that the heart of God has never been for your sacrifice, but for a relationship with you!

Today, we'll reflect on the temptation to trust in riches instead of God. Pastor JD will talk about the issues caused by excessive wealth in this world. The love of money is the root of all evil! Accumulating wealth on Earth is foolish because you'll leave everything behind when you die... Instead, Jesus encourages us to store treasures in Heaven!

When God says He'll do something... He'll do it! Even if it seems impossible in our own eyes. Pastor JD will talk about the return of Jesus and the destruction of Israel's enemies - in the past and in the future. So many prophecies seem hard to believe in, but sometimes God allows the unlikely, so He can do the impossible and be glorified!

Today, we'll study a psalm of great celebration and praise. People were clapping and shouting to the Lord, singing praises and exalting Him. Pastor JD will reflect on reasons why, in general, we tend to contain ourselves and limit the expression of our worship. We might fear people's opinions of our praise, much like when David's wife judged him for his public worship.

Peace in the middle east has been a goal of countless people throughout the ages. And from the very beginning, President Donald Trump has said that he WILL BRING peace to the middle east. As conservative Christians, we have seen a lot of victories in this administration. That said, we know that we know that we know...peace will only come to the middle east when Jesus returns.

Our president, Donald Trump, has called peace in the middle east his “BIG DEAL”. He's a real estate tycoon that has made millions on land transactions. Is it possible that he will reveal the very plan that the Bible speaks about? Friends, we know that the ONLY peace that will ever be seen in the middle east will be when the LORD Jesus returns and rules and reigns in righteousness.

Today, Pastor JD will teach a Psalm of celebration. The Israelites praise God because He's delivered them! They faced a big threat, but the Lord destroyed their enemies! He's indeed very present help in times of trouble. He tells you not to fear, which you do in faith, believing His Word and who He is. He says, “be still and behold that I am God!”

The Bible presents beautiful parallels between love stories and Jesus' relationship with His bride, the Church. The prophecies of Jesus' return describe exactly the Jewish tradition regarding the groom's preparation for his marriage. Today, Pastor JD will teach about the return of Jesus when He'll come to take us, His bride.
 

What happens when the enemy comes your way? The Assyrians conquered and slaughtered every people group they faced - and they were now headed toward Jerusalem. In this terrifying context, the psalmist cries out to the Lord for help and mercy. The enemy is after them! Pastor JD will teach the promises of God for when you're facing a big threat.

In today's message, Pastor JD will remind you that the Lord cannot abandon you! It's simply impossible! In Psalms, David cries out because he's going through a hard season. However, in that moment, he reminds himself that he will yet praise the Lord, because God will come through. He will provide. He's always been faithful and He'll continue to be!

President Donald Trump continues to stun the world with his leadership. From strong actions on border security to standing up to the press, there really hasn't been anything that he's backed down from. Today Pastor JD will share with us the strong similarities between President Donald Trump and the character in the Bible known as Cirrus.

Is it possible that Isaiah chapter seventeen and Ezekiel chapter thirty eight are speaking of the same prophetic event? Today Pastor JD explores this possibility. The most important fact that we MUST keep in mind is that we have a current president who's top goal is to bring peace to the middle east. He sees this as his “greatest deal”.

Today, Pastor JD will teach key practices that will help you when you're depressed or discouraged. The Bible highlights the importance of watching your thoughts. Don't give room to the thoughts the enemy wants to plant in your mind. He'll also try to isolate you. We're weaker alone! But together we're encouraged, and love is stirred up!

The psalmist writes words of despair; but in that place of sadness, he declares the Truth. “As the deer pants for the waters, my soul thirsts for You.” Pastor JD will teach that, in difficult times, when you feel depressed or discouraged, the secret is to drink from the well of God's Word. Jesus said if you drink of His living water, you'll never thirst again!

This world is filled with injustice, betrayal and sin. Even the people we are closest too are flawed and can let us down. In today's message, Pastor JD will teach us that the message of the gospel gives us hope and power to be restored and healed of the bitterness of this life. Jesus offers you hope and healing. Will you accept it?

God cares about you. He knows about your imperfections and failures, but He still loves you. No matter how great the crisis or conflict you might be in today, you are never out of His reach. In today's message, Pastor JD will remind us that God is an ever present help in troubled times. Will you turn to Him for your salvation today?

For many of you, the Mid East Prophecy Update is a staple of your weekly discipleship. We are so very thankful for everyone who listens and watches these prophecy updates. Today Pastor JD will do a sort of review dating back to 2006 when this ministry first started. It's amazing to see JUST HOW MUCH has developed over the years...even so, come quickly LORD Jesus!

As you well know, the land of Israel has long been a hotly contested part of the world. In fact, it is the single MOST hotly contested piece of land in ALL of the world! Today Pastor JD begins sharing with us the amazing development in the last several weeks. Our president recently announced that the world should recognize that Israel has authority over the Golan Heights.

David was plagued by some sin he had committed against God and was weighed down heavily by a sense of his guilt and failure. In both physical and spiritual anguish, he cried out to God for forgiveness and received mercy. In today's message, Pastor JD will plead with you to take your failures to God with a broken and repentant heart.

We live in a desire driven society. Everything from entertainment, to social media, to advertising promises to meet your every desire. As you draw closer to God and make Him your delight, He will become your desire and He will fulfill your desire for Him. In today's message, Pastor JD will challenge you to make God the central desire of your heart.

The decisions and challenges each of us face on a daily basis can easily be overwhelming. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! As David's heart maintained a healthy reverence and fear of the Lord, it overflowed with wisdom. In today's message, Pastor JD will teach you that your choices and actions show that you care about God. 

Throughout the Psalms, we see David pouring his heart out before the Lord. As David wrestled with injustice, betrayal and persecution, his first and only refuge was to cry out to God to save him and to make all the wrongs right again. In today's message, Pastor JD will talk about the importance of being transparent with your Heavenly Father.

Your time here on earth may not be long. The events of recent days and the overwhelming heaviness of discord around the world are bringing you closer to the end. But, as Pastor JD will remind you today, you have another home waiting for you! When the time comes where Jesus says “ENOUGH!”, you get to be with Him forever in Heaven!

With everything happening in Israel and around the globe, it's easy to become discouraged. Pastor JD understands and today wants to remind you of the peace that comes with a hope of Salvation! Don't let the heaviness of events weigh you down! You're learning from God's Word exactly what will take place, and it's bringing you one step closer to eternity with Jesus!

You might see it as your noble duty to stoically suffer through the consequences of your poor choices, but in the Kingdom of God, that’s not how it works. As Pastor JD explains in today’s message, our Father loves to step in and take even the poorest of our choices and transform them into victories for His glory. 

Most all of us have some sin in our past that’s hard to forget. You might lie awake at night mulling it over, feeling shame and regret over that choice. But, as Pastor JD encourages us in today’s message, as much as that transgression may haunt your memory, you can have joy and confidence knowing that God has forgiven you.
