When we pray, we typically have an idea of how we would answer that prayer. But today, Pastor JD reminds us that, God’s ways are not our ways. He likes to work in impossible ways just to prove that it was Him doing it. When He doesn’t move how you expect Him to, it’s because He’s got something better in store.

We look back at the trials we’ve gone through in life and yes, maybe we’d change a few things, but we’d never take it away. Because it taught us something vital. Because you wouldn’t be who you are without it. Pastor JD reminds us today that no matter what you’re going through, God is right next to you through it all.

We look at the state of our world, and you’d have to be blind, deaf, and dumb not to see that we’re going downhill fast. Most people don’t respond well when forced to do something. It’s much more rewarding when you do an act out, of your own will. When you’re driving around town, you rely on certain signs or signals, to alert you where you need to go. Perhaps there’s an exit sign that you need to follow. The US used to send more missionaries overseas...but, all that has changed as the culture here in the US has continued to decline.

Nobody likes asking for help; we like to do things in our own strength, and slap our name on it just for proof. But Pastor JD reminds us today that, when things are impossible for you to accomplish, that’s when God likes to step in and get it done. He likes proving to us that He can do anything, especially when we can’t on our own.

Everyone wants to be liked; no one starts their day and thinks, I want everyone to pick a fight with me today. But being adored by this world should never be our goal.
