Another pathetic performance by the Sacramento Kings last night. They lost to the Atlanta Hawks who were without eight players including Trae Young , Bogdan Bogdanovic and John Collins. Hub Arkush, the Executive Editor for Pro Football Weekley among other things went on 670 The Score in Chicago and called Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers the " biggest jerk in the league" and " a bad guy". Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is getting killed again for his comments regarding Covid. He was on the Pat McAfee Show on SiriusXM and said " when did we lose the ability to respect somebody's opinion"....he is spot on. Yesterday is was revealed by ESPN that 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a torn ligament as well as a fracture in his thumb on his throwing hand. On Friday past I did a rant on how I thought Jimmy G was one of the most underappreciated players in the NFL. He was getting killed by fans and members of the media after Thursday's loss at Tennessee. Now what do you say 49er fans? You wanted Trey Lance and it looks like you will get Trey Lance. The Sacramento Kings were so bad last night that Coach Alvin Gentry called it absolutely ridiculous and the most disappointed he's been in 34 years of coaching. It doesn't get much worse that that....but actually it does. Gentry also questioned the team's pride. That is pretty much rock bottom. And what the heck has happened to DeAaron Fox? The 49ers lost to the Titans yesterday and it was not a good game for Jimmy Garoppolo. Of course the fans and media killed the guy after the game. When the 49ers win Jimmy G doesn't get the praise he deserves and when they lose he stinks. If I'm him I'd want to get out of San Francisco and go where I'm appreciated. On this episode I talk about something I would never see. I thought I would never see apathetic Kings fans, an empty arena, booing on a regular basis, but that is what's happened to the Sacramento Kings. Owner Vivek Ranadive has pushed one of the most loyal fan bases out the door including several minority owners. Things in my opinion are at rock bottom. I talk about the early days of the Kings, the old Arco 1. I reminisce about those days and what it was like being a Kings fans and attending games. I reflect on the first playoff game at Arco ll and how truly amazing those days were. Then the 2000's arrived and the Kings became the darlings of the NBA and Sacramento was the place to be with the most electric atmosphere in the league. Now look at it. Fans have said no more, they aren't going to games and things continue to look very bleak for the franchise becoming competitive. If he screws up again, he's gone. Those were the words from Tampa Bay Bucs coach Bruce Arians last year when the team signed Antonio Brown. Yesterday Arians said Brown is good to go despite having a fake vaccination card. Why? The Bucs are desperate after losing receiver Chris Godwin for the year with an ACL. On this episode I read a very interesting article I saw on Awful Announcing. com. ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy was talking about his relationship with Marv Albert which he referred to as contentious. JVG talked about how when he coached the Knicks he that Marv was too critical and had a bias towards Patrick Ewing. JVG also gave some advice to broadcasters which I discuss as well. Jacksonville Jaguars Coach Urban Meyer is gone less than a year after he was hired. The disgraced coach was fired by team owner Shad Khan yesterday after another run in with a player. Sunday the Raiders were embarrassed by the Kansas City Chiefs. Before the game the Raiders embarrassed themselves when Yannick Ngakoue led his teammates to the Chiefs logo and stomped on it. The Chiefs and their fans were incensed by the move and scored a defensive TD from on the first play from scrimmage. The game was basically over after that.
