What an embarrassing apology by Phil Mickelson yesterday. In the first paragraph he says his comments about the Saudis to writer Alan Shipnuck were off the record and taken out of context. His long apology is getting ripped by many and justifiably so. Phil also lost long time sponsor , KPMG yesterday after a 14 year partnership. One must wonder if Phil will ever return to the good graces of golf fans and PGA players ever again.
