If you want to see how backwards this country has become from a media perspective, look no further than the Trevor Bauer story. Bauer was suspended by MLB back in 2021 after being accused of sexual assault. This week Bauer released a video showing very clearly that he was framed by his accuser. Evan Neal is the starting right tackle for the New York Giants prevent offense. On Monday Neal called out the fans for booing the team after their humiliating loss to Seattle where they gave up 11 sacks and scored only 3 points. NBA training camps open soon and on today's episode I talk about the anticipation for this year's team. It reminds me of more than 20 years ago when the Kings became the darlings of the NBA. I play my radio call from a playoff game vs the Mavs in 2002. To this day it is one of my favorite Kings games of all time. I then go over the other teams in the Western Conference. On Today's episode I discuss the NBA's efforts to curb Load Management. Resting players has become an issue for the league and quite frankly has become a problem for the billion-dollar industry! I play some sound from NBA Commissioner Adam Silver talking about this issue and then discuss some of the problems this new rule may create. ESPN's Brian Windhorst who covers the NBA made a very interesting point this past week regarding how the league will differentiate players resting as opposed to having an injury.
