EWith one of the Film School Janitors missing (Jay, of course), they call in the big guns: Rodney's daughter! Listen as she helps Rodney and Sean review the live-action remake of THE LITTLE MERMAID! Can even just the two of them keep it clean and kid-friendly? The answer is: mostly!

FOUND BEHIND THE VENDING MACHINE: Road House (1989) Review
EThe Film School Janitors have a blast going back to the past when they review the Patrick Swayze classic: ROAD HOUSE! How does it hold up after all these years? Does memory serve correctly (and only with a proper ID)? Bonus! The Janitors rank the 1980's box office hits and try to figure which year had the best top grossing films!

Fast X Review
EMake "vroom" for the Film School Janitors' review of FAST X! It's got plot breakdowns, gravity breakdowns, physics breakdowns, celebrity net worth breakdowns, but alas - no car breakdowns! Listen now!

NCU 62: Outcast (2014) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: OUTCAST What do you get when you mix Anakin Skywalker, the Crusades (barely), the Song Dynasty in China, strange accent choices and Nic Cage? This movie!

NETFLIX AND CHILLED: Attack of the Hollywood Clichés (2021) Review
EWho would have thought talking about Netflix's ATTACK OF THE HOLLYWOOD CLICHES would get into some nitty and some gritty, but the Film School Janitors ask some hard questions and they go there.

NCU 61: Dying of the Light (2014) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: DYING OF THE LIGHT As the Janitors mentioned in their LOVE, ANTOSHA review, co-star Anton Yelchin was a huge fan of Nic Cage, and this was the only film they were able to star in together. So what's it about? Another cop movie (well this time, a CIA agent) in which Nic Cage wants to get revenge. But this time, he has a form of onsetting dementia. Fun!

Scream VI Review
EWhat better place to start reviewing a film series than with the sixth entry! The Film School Janitors have talked about covering the SCREAM films for years, so they (sort of) cover them all in this SCREAM VI review. The mold gets broken in this one by taking the action out of Woodsboro,,and does it pay off? Listen to see what the Janitors think!

NETFLIX AND CHILLED: Mindhorn (2016) Review
EWell, hopefully you can find this one somewhere to watch, or you already watched it. Netflix exclusively had MINDHORN probably for seven years, and the Film School Janitors only recently discovered it before they pulled it. This review will have to do until it comes back or pops up somewhere else, but here's the basic premise. An actor once popular in the 80's played a cop with a bionic eye that could "see the truth." When a young man wanted for murder says he will only talk to the character of MINDHORN, the washed-up actor takes the opportunity to milk this chance to mount a comeback! As usual, the Janitors try to cover as much of the story as possible, but you know how that usually goes...

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Review
EThe Film School Janitors cover everything when it comes to GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3... or do they? They better when it comes to this long of a review!

NCU 60: Renfield (2023) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: RENFIELD Is this the role Nic Cage has been un-dying to play? Nicholas Hoult a.k.a. About A Beast plays Renfield, Dracula's familiar. Can he get out from under his master's control? Can the Film School Janitors escape his mind games? Listen to find out!

80 for Brady Review
EThe Film School Janitors' discussion of 80 FOR BRADY goes all over the place. Some of it tracks; some doesn't. The main thing is they do actually review the film. It's just in-between nonsense.

NCU 59: Love, Antosha (2019) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make (or narrate)! This week's assignment: LOVE, ANTOSHA In 2016, a tragic freak accident occurred that claimed actor Anton Yelchin's life. You may not know him by name, but you've likely seen him in something (most likely in the STAR TREK reboots as Chekov). Nic Cage reads some of his writings in this documentary about his life, artistry and battle cystic fibrosis.

Apple TV+'s Ghosted Review
EApple TV+ also makes movies, and although the Film School Janitors don't watch many of them, GHOSTED caught their attention. Co-stars Ana De Armas and Chris Evans meet cute and then after some (light) stalking, find themselves fighting your their lives. But did it hold the Janitors attention? Listen to find out.

YANKED FROM THE TRASH BIN: Meatballs Part II (1984) Review
EThe 1980's were known for cash grab sequels to popular films, and there are some real stinkers out there. But how does MEATBALLS PART II compare? The Film School Janitors spill all the canned beans so take a listen now!

The Fabelmans Review
EWell, Oscar night has come and gone, and Steven Spielberg's latest, THE FABELMANS, walked away without any awards. But what did the true purveyors of film taste think?! Listen to the Film School Janitors' review now!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) Review
EThe Film School Janitors already watched the live-action original, and now they've watched the cartoon adaptation! Reviews and opinions are all over the place for THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE. What do the Janitors think? Hop in that warp pipe and listen now!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: Disney+'s The Mandalorian (S3, E6-8) Review
ESo did the third season of THE MANDALORIAN stick its jet pack landing? Who cares? As long as they make a cool IG-12 with Grogu toy! The Film School Janitors discuss the final three episodes of the season.

NCU 58: Stolen (2012) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: STOLEN Let's play a round of Nic Cage Checklist to see what's in this movie: New Orleans - check Bank robbers - check Double-crossing - check Revenge - check Janitors - check Listen to what the Film School Janitors have to say about this one!

NETFLIX AND CHILLED: Polar (2019) Review
ENow that the Film School Janitors are all caught up on JOHN WICK, they figured it was about time to start checking out some of the rip-offs -- er, films inspired by those films. This time we review POLAR - an earlier Netflix release involving an underground world full of hitman that follow their own rules as well as have their own retirement pension. Of course, our retiring protagonist (was his name POLAR?!) runs into trouble retiring, and therefore you have a movie. To find out more - listen now!

John Wick: Chapter 4 Review
EThe Film School Janitors watched JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4, and JOHH WICK and JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 and JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 - PARABELLUM so... they talk about them all! Listen now!

NCU 57: The Frozen Ground (2013) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE FROZEN GROUND This time around, we find Nic Cage playing another detective trying to track down a serial killer. The difference is this is based on a true story, and it's fairly intense. What else did the Janitors think about this go-round? Listen to find out!

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Review
EWell, it looks like DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES rolled the dice and came up short on being a box office success... But the Film School Janitors also rolled the dice and watched the latest film in the D&D saga, and they rolled, um, high? I don't really know much about D&D. Everything I know I learned from STRANGER THINGS... So here is the Janitors review nonetheless!

Creed III Review
EWell, two of the Film School Janitors waited for the third Janitor to watch CREED III before they would review it... and he still hadn't, so they reviewed it anyway! Also - they discuss the controversy surrounding the co-star who's the newest big bad in the MCU...

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: Disney+'s The Mandalorian (S3, E4-5) Review
EThe Film School Janitors play catch up again (which is way better than playing "mustard") and review the fourth and fifth episodes of THE MANDALORIAN. Did I really need to explain that?

NCU 56: The Trust (2016) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE TRUST Another movie where Nic Cage plays a cop, with a dash of comedy, and an excellent co-star in Elijah Wood, but this time instead of the usual revenge story, he's planning a heist. It's a fun one! Listen to the Film School Janitors as they review his plan and the film.

FOUND BEHIND THE VENDING MACHINE: Super Mario Bros. (1993) Review
EWho is ready for the Film School Janitors' review of the biggest movie from 1993? If you're thinking about a little movie about dinosaurs, you're right! SUPER MARIO BROS.may not be animated, but it a live-action cartoon! Do you have found memories of this film? Do you have any memories of this film? Have you never heard of this film?! Don't worry - the Janitors know a little bit about plumbing...

NCU 55: Army of One (2016) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: ARMY OF ONE Based on a real-life guy and a true story, Nic Cage plays (emphasis on "plays") a man that made it his personal mission to capture Osama Bin Laden after 9/11. This is one of Cage's zaniest rolls, and if you can put up with the character at the onset, you'll be able to handle the entire movie, because for some... this might not be their cup of Cage. Listen to what the Janitors thought!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: Disney+'s The Mandalorian (S3, E1-3) Review
EI don't know what it is with this show, but the Film School Janitors can't ever seem to get a steady flow reviewing it. Nonetheless, here are their thoughts on the third season's first three episodes, which include a place setting opener, a sort of repetitive second, and a divisive third. Listen for more d33ts!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episode 9) Revew

EThe Film School Janitors follow up on their predictions about who would win what Oscars, as well as other things... can't make a description anymore boring than that!

PULLING A DOUBLE: Creed (2015) & Creed II (2018) Reviews
EThe Film School Janitors watched CREED and CREED II, so they decided to review both in anticipation of the third film. They're about a boxer or something, and his father's legacy with another boxer or two... you probably know the rest!

LITTER BITS: Chris Rock, Marlon Wayans, and Oscar 95 Predictions!
EThe Film School Janitors discuss Chris Rock's latest special SELECTIVE OUTRAGE, which is partially about "The Slap" from last year's Oscar broadcast (have you heard about it?)... They also discuss Marlon Wayans' latest special GOD LOVES ME, which is all about "The Slap" (still not ringing any bells?)... They also give their predictions for the 95th Academy Awards six biggest awards. Tune in next week to see how they did!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episode 8) Review
EIt's the penultimate episode of THE LAST OF US and is it the ultimate episode? The Film School Janitors breakdown the breakdown of society and humanity presented in the eighth episode of the series, and how does it compare to THE WALKING DEAD overall?

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episode 7) Review
EAnother sort of standalone episode of THE LAST OF US. Episode 7 allows us a flashback (or DLC to the gamers out there) to Ellie's life pre-bite. It's a sweet story about young love in the time of cordyceps. The Film School Janitors break down the episode, so take a listen!

NCU 54: Joe (2013) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: JOE That's it. Not BAD LUCK JOE or JOE GETS IT DONE or even G.I. JOE. It's a simple story about a man named Joe (duh) living in a rural area who is looking out for a kid that reminds him of his younger self. Solid film. Solider (emphasis on "drrrr") podcast by the Film School Janitors.

NCU 53: Lord of War (2005) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: LORD OF WAR Loosely based on the arms dealer that the U.S. traded for a basketball detainee, Nic Cage (with brother Jared Leto!) travel the world and exploit every loophole to make money selling illegally attained military weapons. And it's sort of a comedy! Listen to what the Film School Janitors learned from this one.

Cocaine Bear Review
EThe Film School Janitors watched COCAINE BEAR in the theater on opening weekend. It was like they needed that fix of watching a horror-comedy on the big screen. This is their review. This is their review on alcohol. Any questions?

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episode 6) Review
EThe sixth episode of THE LAST OF US gets reviewed by the Film School Janitors. Is this show worthy of the fans of the game? Who's to say, but usually gamers aren't viewed as "fungi-s"... I didn't leave mushroom for a good pun there, did I?

NCU 52: Sonny (2002) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: SONNY Well, Nic Cage doesn't play a large part in this film - he plays the largest part: director! How does he do? Listen to find out!

LITTER BITS: Neon Detroit Knights (2019) Review
EThe Film School Janitors review a locally-made film called NEON DETROIT KNIGHTS. If you can't figure out the "locale" then I'm sorry, because the Janitors like to keep that private. The film is about two undercover police officers that time travel to the 80's. It's fun!

Amazon Prime's The Peripheral (Season 1) Review
EDid you know Chloe Grace Moretz also makes TV shows? Are nine episodes on a streaming service considered TV shows? The Film School Janitors watched THE PERIPHERAL, a sci-fi show so ahead of its time it takes place ahead of this time, and you'll need to take notes on new words and phrases used in the show. What else should you expect from William Gibson, creator of the term "cyberspace"? A podcast review such as this?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Review
EAs the MCU begins its Phase 5, does ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA help start it off on the right foot? Or is it more of a left foot situation? A baby step or a giant leap? A toe-dip or a nacho dip? Nacho Libre or Napoleon Dynamite? This is going off the ant farm so just listen to the Film School Janitors' review instead.

PULLING A DOUBLE: Carrie (1976 & 2013) Review
EChloe Grace Moretz may be relatively early in her film career, but she already has a few remakes under her belt. For this round, the Film School Janitors tackle Stephen King's classic, CARRIE, and then they get tossed around telekinetically like rag dolls. Enjoy!

PULLING A DOUBLE: Suspiria (1977 & 2018) Review
EThe Film School Janitors decided to tackle a few remakes that Chloe Grace Moretz has starred in, so they started with SUSPERIA. They watched the original and then the remake, and learned she's only in it for five minutes (or so)! How do they compare? Is the original truly a classic or overrated? Is the newer film a worthy remake or a trash heap? Listen to hear what the Janitors thought!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episodes 4 & 5) Review
ESince episodes four and five of THE LAST OF US kind of go together, the Film School Janitors decided to review them together. And also - they're lazy! Listen to find out what they thought about everything that happens in Kansas City!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: HBO Max's The Last of Us (Episode 3) Review
EThe Film School Janitors watched the third episode of THE LAST OF US, and we get a type of story you don't normally see in video game adaptations (or many projects, for that matter). Some touted it the best episode of TV ever, but do the Janitors agree? Listen to find out!

The Menu Review
EThe Film School Janitors record their reviews on their lunch break, and this one made them hungry! THE MENU is about a group of people with money to spare going to an island to eat at an expensive (pretentious) restaurant, and there's more on the menu than food. Take a bite and listen to what the Janitors thought!

NCU 51: The Weather Man (2005) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE WEATHER MAN Hey! Do you think that the weather man on the news has it easy? It's the only job you get to keep even if you get it consistently wrong. Well, this movie is about one of those guys and his family issues and thrown food and archery. Listen and enjoy!

Netflix's White Noise Review
ECan you believe the Film School Janitors reviewed a movie based on an allegedly unfilmable book? Well, that's not surprising when it's a Netflix flick. But at least one of them (guess who) read WHITE NOISE as well as watched it, and here is their review!
