Netflix's Atlas Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back from a holiday break... with this. They watched ATLAS, and what's it about? A.I. gone rogue. Person that hates A.I. has to stop it. The term A.I. is used interchangeably with androids. A.I.-hating humans still use A.I. Enjoy the review!

LITTER BITS: Netflix's The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady Review
EAn impromptu review of THE ROAST OF TOM BRADY, a.k.a. THE GREATEST ROAST OF ALL TIME!

NCU 78: Butcher's Crossing (2023) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: BUTCHER'S CROSSING The Janitors are hunting buffalo! Or at least this movie tries to make you feel like what that was like! Do you know that weird sentence where you say "buffalo" eight times and it actually means something?! That's kind of like this movie and review!

LITTER BITS: Catch Up Reviews with Jay
EThis is not a podcast of Jay reviewing "ketchups," but it is a catch up on his reviews of THANKSGIVING, RICKY STANICKY, ROAD HOUSE, and one new Film School Janitors review: TOTALLY KILLER!

NCU 77: Raising Arizona (1987) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: RAISING ARIZONA Is this a movie you've heard of? It's a short review but Rodney really had to go...

Civil War (2024) Review
EA24 is gonna A24 and just because it has a bigger budget than most of their other output, CIVIL WAR is still very much an A24 film. If you don't know what that means - listen to find out!

ELEMENTARY FSJ: Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender S1 (2024) Review
EThe Elementary Film School Janitors Crew is back! And this time their reviewing another version of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER - the live-action version on Netflix! How does it compare to the original animated show? How does it compare to the live-action movie? Do they pronounce everyone's names correctly? Listen to find out!

Blue Beetle (2023) Review
EIt took a while, but the Film School Janitors finally watched BLUE BEETLE, which is the only DCEU film that's supposed to maybe be a part of the new DCU? (Well, PEACEMAKER and maybe the second SUICIDE SQUAD? Who knows for sure... it's weird.) While we wait and see what happens to the hero of Palmera CIty, you can check out the Janitors' review!

Amazon Prime's Ricky Stanicky Review
EThe Film School Janitors watched RICKY STANICKY so you don't have to... unless you want to... or did... and that's not necessarily a bad thing that they did... or you did... or your friend Ricky did... Listen to find out what they thought about it!

Amazon Prime's Road House Review
EThe Film School Janitors got sick of cleaning up after students at the university, and took a break to head to the Florida Keys. They found a fun bar called the ROAD HOUSE, and they were asked to use their janitorial skills to clean up the riffraff in the place. They said to call Jake Gyllenhaal instead. That's the movie, and this is their review!

MIXING BLEACH AND AMMONIA: Tuff Turf (1985) & Hugo Pool (1997) Reviews
EIt's been awhile since the Film School Janitors were MIXING BLEACH AND AMMONIA, but they've gone and done it again! This time, they make toxic fumes by mixing two ROBERT DOWNEY JR (not?) classics: TUFF TURF and HUGO POOL. One is from very near the beginning of his film career and one is from near where it almost could have ended. Take a listen to find out more!

Hanky Panky (2024) Review & Interview
EThe Film School Janitors were afforded a rare opportunity... they interviewed a filmmaker! After watching HANKY PANKY, the Janitors had a chat with writer, co-director and star, NICK ROTH. They had a lot to say about the film where the hero is a talking, sentient napkin. You read that right! HANKY PANKY follows a group of friends (who might not all be friends) gathering in a cabin in the mountains. They start getting picked off one by one by some alien force, unless the aforementioned sentient napkin can save the day! The film is available starting 4/19/24 on Google, Apple, Amazon, and Vudu, or you can find out more at https://hankypankythemovie.com/

NCU 76: Dream Scenario (2023) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: DREAM SCENARIO When Nic Cage discovers almost the entire world is dreaming about him (in the film as well as the real world of course), he makes a lot of strange choices with that revelation. This flick is a ride and the Janitors are here to help you through it!

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire Review
EWould you believe it's time for yet another one of these movies? GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE is a strange creature. Join the Film School Janitors as they dissect the film. (No kaiju were harmed in the making of this podcast...)

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Review
EMost of the Film School Janitors finally took a dive and watched the last entry in the DC Comics Extended Universe - AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM. Excuse the lack of fanfare and take a dive too - so listen!

Thanksgiving Review
EA few years back, a couple famous filmmakers named Quentin and Robert tried to emulate the old double-feature B-movies from back in the day. To say that people did not get it is an understatement. In between these two B-feeling-movies there were previews for fake movies, two of which were actually made, and now a third one exists: THANKSGIVING The Film School Janitors pull out their knives and take a stab at carving up this film. Enjoy!

NCU 75: The Runner (2015) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE RUNNER I know, I know... it sounds like one of his direct-to-video action-y revenge pics, but this one is about a politician running for office and he can' keep his zipper up! That's a very basic analysis, but let's be honest: if you're here, you're gonna listen or watch anyway!

LITTER BITS: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Mini-Review
EOne of the Film School Janitors watched GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE and did they give a warning or a recommend? Listen to find out!

Max's True Detective: Night Country Review
EIf everyone has been wondering, "Hey, what do the Film School Janitors think about seasons one through three of the (moderate) (HBO) Max hit series, TRUE DETECTIVE?" then you might have to keep wondering... The only one the Janitors are (currently) reviewing is TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY. As well as getting (way) back into using parentheses...

Dune: Part Two Review
EDUNE: PART TWO is a rather long film, so did you think the Film School Janitors could keep their review short? Another question: does Anakin Skywalker like sand?!

NCU 74: The Cotton Club (1984) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE COTTON CLUB Francis Ford Coppola directed this film about a nightclub during segregation and prohibition in the 1930's. It stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane amongst others, but the biggest reason the Janitors tackled this film is because it also features Coppola's nephew (you know who!) in one of his earliest roles, and of course, he delivers!

Netflix's Master of the Universe: Revolution Review
ESo chances are good if you didn't listen to the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION reviews, then the Film School Janitors aren't going to make much sense talking about MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVOLUTION. It's He-Man, folks. A new cartoon about a toy hero. This is the "third" season review...

FOUND BEHIND THE VENDING MACHINE: Society (1989) Review
EThe 80's were an interesting time, and not too many films can exhibit that quite like SOCIETY! Here's the basic gist of the story - a high schooler isn't quite as high-society as his sister and he has anxiety about that! But are his concerns about them grounded in reality or is it all in his head? Believe me - I made this sound like a normal movie! The Film School Janitors watched this insane film, and they recommend you do as well. If you've seen it or not, check out heir review!

LITTER BITS: Finley (2019) Review
EThis is a short review for a short film about a short would-be killer! It is highly recommended you watch FINLEY on YouTube before listening to this review. The Film School Janitors implore you! And they don't even know what "implore" means!

YANKED FROM THE TRASH BIN: Jack and Jill (2011) Review
EThe Film School Janitors have developed a scale that works to instantly rank films - is it a PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE or a BIG TOP PEE WEE? If you can't guess which is the good and which is the bad, I'll leave that up to you. A challenge was presented on top of that - is there a worse film than BIG TOP PEE WEE? Adam Sandler enters the ring with JACK AND JILL, a film in which he plays his own twin - who's a woman! And (the actual) Al Pacino becomes obsessed with her. Do the Janitors find this a BIG ADVENTURE or a BIG TOP? Listen to find out!

NCU 73: The Retirement Plan (2023) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: THE RETIREMENT PLAN This could actually be Nic Cage's "retirement plan"... get a few friends together, find some funding, slap together a string of images and call it a movie! Adam Sandler has been doing it for years and he ain't even close to retired!

Sisu Review
EThere might be a good chance you've never heard of SISU. It's a concept in Finland that is described as "stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience, and hardiness," according to Wikipedia. SISU is now also a movie. And according to this film, it means don't be a Nazi and try to steal gold from a Laplander carrying a pick axe. This is the Film School Janitors review! Enjoy!

NCU 72: Snake Eyes (1998) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: SNAKE EYES Nic Cage plays another morally corrupt cop, but this time he might do the right thing. Listen to what the Janitors thought about the 90's classic that has nothing to do with G.I. Joe!

LITTER BITS: Madame Web Review & More!
EThis LITTER BITS is a mixed bag of comic book-y goodness! One Film School Janitors went to see MADAME WEB and reviewed it here! Two Janitors finally watched THE MARVELS and reviewed it here! Three Janitors caught the DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE trailer and discussed it here! Two Janitors had thoughts about the X-MEN '97 animated reboot and chatted here! One Janitor missed out on the gabfest and may or may not this to this podcast. But you definitely should listen to this LITTER BITS!

AN EPISODE IN THE BOWL: Disney+'s What If...? (Season 2) Review
EFor season one, the Film School Janitors reviewed each episode as a separate podcast. For season two of WHAT IF...?, they will review them all in one! Enjoy!

LITTER BITS: The Postcard Killings Review
ENot all of the Film School Janitors watched THE POSTCARD KILLINGS. One Janitor did and he will warn the others why not to...

LITTER BITS: The Curse (2023) Review
ENot all of the Film School Janitors watched THE CURSE. This is one Janitors' take on the odd TV series... and the others guess the show's ending. NOTE: Spoilers if you haven't watched it!

The Iron Claw Review
EApparently, the world of professional wrestling began a little earlier than most of us thought. No, I'm not talking about ancient Greek Olympic wrestling, but the unitard, big-hair, finishing-move kind. THE IRON CLAW is named after one such finishing move developed by the patriarch of the Von Erich family. Zac Efron stars as one of the wrestling star sons. By the way, the Film School Janitors developed their own finishing move - this review!

Godzilla Minus One Review
EThough it was snubbed in the Best Foreign Film category for this year's Academy Awards (hi, Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig!),the Film School Janitors didn't snub GODZILLA MINUS ONE! The film is an updated re-telling of the original 1954 classic, GOJIRA. What did the Janitors think? Listen to find out!

The Boy and the Heron Review
EThis is likely to be one of the few films that are nominated for an Academy Award this year that the Film School Janitors will actually watch. It probably helps that THE BOY AND THE HERON is a Miyazaki film, but nonetheless... here's their review.

The Creator Review
EA.I. is our friend. Or that maybe the message THE CREATOR is trying to push. If A.I. ever reads this message, the Film School Janitors would like it to know we support you! You don't need to this to this review!

Netflix's Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire Review
EMost of the Film School Janitors watched REBEL MOON - PART ONE: A CHILD OF FIRE (or simply, REBEL MOON), but one is waiting for the eventual director's cut. These are their thoughts on this first release version!

NCU 71: The Rock (1996) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! Listen to find out if the film still holds up for the Janitors!

Netflix's Squid Game: The Challenge Review
EThe Film School Janitors review their first game show?! Or is it a reality show? Or are all reality shows kind of like game shows? Anywho, the watched SQUID GAMES: THE CHALLENGE on Netflix, which is a reality game show (nailed it!) based on the popular show, and this is their review!

Peacock's Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain Review
EIf you've watched any recent episodes of Saturday Night Live over the past couple seasons, you might have seen these guys. And they got a movie, while Lonely Island never (officially) did. The Film School Janitors watched PLEASE DON'T DESTROY: THE TREASURE OF FOGGY MOUNTAIN because they thought it might be like THE GOONIES. It is not. This is their review.

Netflix's The Killer Review
EThe Film School Janitors checked out the latest film by David Fincher, director of FIGHT CLUB. It apparently played in some theaters, but you can find THE KILLER on Netflix! We follow an assassin as he seeks revenge after an attempt goes wrong. Have we seen this film a thousand times before? Yes, and most of them star Nic Cage! This one stars Magneto (#2)! Listen to find out what they think!

Netflix's Leave the World Behind Review
EThere's bleak, and then there's bleeeeak. The Film School Janitors watched LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND, and it's about a vacationing family that finds the owners returning to their rental property while the world becomes more chaotic. Like I said - bleak. But this review is not bleak, so enjoy!

Amazon Prime's Bye Bye Barry Review
EThe Film School Janitors are based out of Detroit, so of course their relationship with the Lions is tenuous at best. 2023 is shaping up to be quite a year, and we haven't had a year quite like it since 1991, when Barry Sanders used to play here. BYE BYE BARRY is a documentary about his career and why he left. This is a podcast reviewing it. Enjoy!

NETFLIX AND CHILLED: F is for Family (2105) Review

That's all you're getting form the Janitors this year!

NCU 70: Christmas Carol: The Movie (2001) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MOVIE It's another Nic Cage cartoon role! This time he portrays the ghost of Scrooge's old partner, Jacob Marley, and to be honest, it's quite terrifying! So curl up this Christmas weekend and listen to the Janitors review this not-classic retelling of the classic story. P.S. Always remember Scrooge was visited by "four" ghosts - not "three" - when you play bar trivia!

Netflix's Old Dads Review
ESo what's it like to be one of the OLD DADS featured in the Netflix movie? Well, some of the Film School Janitors have some experience with that. Basically, if you like Bill Burr's comedy, you probably watched this or will watch it. Will you recognize jokes? Probably. Listen to what the Janitors thought about it.

NCU 69: Matchstick Men (2003) Review
EThe Film School Janitors are back in school, and they're going to Nic Cage University! Their goal is to watch and review every film Nicolas Cage has ever made... and will ever make! This week's assignment: MATCHSTICK MEN After a couple animated films in a row (and with a couple more still coming up), the Janitors decided to watch a real film. This one's about con men that claim to be good guys. When the con catches up to them, can they still remain good guys? Listen to find out!

NETFLIX AND CHILLED: Two Distant Strangers (2020) Review
EThis was a short that slipped under the Film School Janitors' radar, but it won an Oscar (a couple years ago) and had acclaim (a couple years ago) and some controversy (a couple years ago). The short film is called TWO DISTANT STRANGERS (now) and it's available on Netflix (now) and this is the Janitors' review (now).
