Build your business or ministry to serve the people you are called to serve today, not the people in the future. Don't build for the future, build for now. If you focus on building for the future, you'll be ineffective in the now. The future will handle itself.

Today I am wrapping up this week's marriage series by letting Holy Spirit flow through me to share what is in God's heart for our marriages. This message had no script. It was a free flow of Holy Spirit. A major theme that emerged was that marriage is not easy and that it requires a level of maturity to live a married life, but God is here to help us. Today's message and this entire week have been focused on marriage. However, I feel led to share some thoughts for single Christians desiring to find a spouse. Submission is a topic that has often been fought over between husbands and wives. However, when God created the concept of submission it was not supposed to be a weapon. Your calling will succeed or fail based on your relationship with your spouse, and sex is a big part of that relationship. But unfortunately, many married couples are not experiencing the fullness of sex that God desires for them. Married couples hate to admit this, but it happens often and to many marriages. There are times when they don't love each other. Why is this the case? Jesus' calling was to die on the cross and go to hell so we could be saved. We often assume that this was easy to do because, after all, Jesus is the son of God. However, this is far from the truth. Jesus walked the earth as a man and had to overcome stress and fear (just like the rest of us) to fulfill his calling. We can use faith to obtain healing and overcome life's problems. However, God originally designed faith to create things. Now, this is interesting because, as entrepreneurs, what we do is create things and bring them to the marketplace. This means that our primary tool for success is faith. Daily Word: There is a popular expression that says, "Fake it until you make it." Some people have applied this concept to faith; however, you can't fake faith until you get it. Pretending to be in faith doesn't give you the power to receive the things you desire. Instead, be honest with God if you lack faith, and He will help you.

We hate waking up early in the morning. However, if you don't seek God before you get started with your day, then you're missing out on valuable information related to your success for that day. A tricky trap is allowing the vision God gave you to become your god. When this occurs, you become obsessed with the vision, which leads to stress and anxiousness. Also the vision becomes unsuccessful and destructive to your life. If you continue in this way, at some point, God will remove the anointing for the vision from you. When you receive an assignment from God, it is critical to know if the assignment is for provision or purpose. An assignment for provision is usually temporary and is designed to take care of an immediate financial need, whereas an assignment for purpose is long term and is the reason why you were born. God gives us spiritual knowledge to implement in a natural world, so our entrepreneurial endeavors can be successful. However, if we first don't have natural knowledge related to our calling, then spiritual knowledge is useless. As believers, we downplay our feelings and treat them like a bad guide. We do this because many of us have been taught not to trust our feelings. However, God created our feelings, just like He created our body and spirit, so why would we throw away something He created? Instead of throwing our feelings away, let's learn to use them. A born again believer who studies and meditates the Word consistently can trust their feelings as a guide to discern their calling.

Unfortunately, today, NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter were among five people killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Like many others, when I heard the news, I was shocked and sadden all at the same time. In this quick message, I am sharing some reflections on this tragic event.

Around 2016, after Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, God revealed to me a prophecy about his presidency. They see the pursuit of profit in business as a necessary evil at best, and at worst they see pursuing profit as taking from society and the poor. There are very few things that the world and the church agree on, and it seems like that they both have deemed pursuing profit as bad. However, this thought process will hold you back from fulfilling what God has called you to do in business. For many believers, lack of financial stability is a hindrance to the calling God has given them. It is not a hindrance because God can't use us if we are in lack. However, in many cases, financial lack causes us to focus our time and creativity inwardly instead of outwardly. An inward-focused mind is in the wrong position to hear God for the fullness of the vision. Therefore, in the Bible, we see many times how God provides for people's personal financial needs first, and then they step into a major area of their vision. As Christians, we are conditioned to charitably give things away; therefore, many Christians who run businesses feel weird and uneasy about selling their products or services in exchange for money. This awkwardness may lead us to under price or give away too much, which can bring about frustration and eventually cause us to go out of business. To succeed in your business, you need a paradigm shift in selling. Because selling stuff for money is a blessed activity.
