The Word for 2020 is Clarity (Part IV)
The word God spoke to my heart for 2020 was clarity. In particular, that those of us who implement their calling in clarity would experience unprecedented levels of success. However, in the midst of 2020 a global economic shutdown has occurred, so does that mean the word for this year is wrong? No. In fact, the global crisis is acting like a purifier that is clarifying (if we allow it) our callings to the core, which will produce callings that are sweet offerings to the Lord that are positioned for acceleration. Through faith receive your due season (Daily Word)
It may seem like you have been working endlessly to accomplish your vision with little to no success. But whatever God has called you to do, it has a due season for success. However, the caveat to receiving your due season is not to quit and not to lose faith. Listen to today's Daily Word and build up your faith to step into your due season. Don't allow a global shutdown to crush your vision (Faith Chat)
I'm sitting on the back porch tonight and felt led to record a faith chat. What is on my heart is to encourage you to not let this global shutdown crush your vision. Yes, for some, the vision may have to pause for a moment, but it's just a pause — nothing else. For others, your vision needs to continue functioning during the shutdown. Listen in to explore this with me tonight. Links: Ministry School Partnership
Don't ask why, just keep pressing until victory (Daily Word)
As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Asking why is a waste of energy and time, and usually doesn't yield satisfactory answers. There is a peace in not focusing on the bad, but continually pressing toward good. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn about this powerful biblical concept. Links: Ministry School Partnership
Faith and science can work together to solve problems (Daily Word)
Finding solutions to problems such as a global health crisis is not faith versus science, rather it is faith guiding science. When faith and science attack each other, we significantly increase the time it takes to solve problems. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this concept. Faith doesn't believe in facts (Faith Discussion)
Faith is not "see it then believe it." Instead, it is "believe it then see it." Faith brings your desires into the present. Faith doesn't stop working just because our calling is challenged by a world crisis. Faith doesn't believe in facts. Faith changes facts. Faith dictates your calling, not the facts of circumstances. God will test you before He increases your vision (Daily Word)
Think about the time when you were in high school. In order to advance to the next grade, you had to pass some tests. In the same way, to advance to the next level in your vision, God is going to give you a test first. In today's Daily Word, we'll learn how God tests us to determine if we are ready to advance to the next phase of our calling. Links: Ministry School Partnership
Receive what your faith can receive now (Faith Discussion)
God has many powerful promises in His word, like living without debt, in perfect health, and lacking nothing. These promises are accessed through our faith, but let's face it: Our faith may come up short. However, don't get in condemnation, because the promises of God are not all or nothing. God meets us at our current level of faith, so we can walk partially in His promises until we develop our faith to walk fully in them. Receive what your faith can receive now. Your way causes unnecessary delays and collateral damage
Your way is any way that is planned and implemented without the counsel of God. Most times you have good intentions, because you are walking in God's calling for your life, so it seems like you are in God's will. However, no matter how great your intentions, your way can lead to unnecessary delays and collateral damage to your marriage, friendships, followers, finances, and/or health. How do we know who is prophesying correctly?
I had a strong leading from God in my spirit to explore with you the question of "How do we know who is prophesying correctly?" Why? Because in times of crisis, many people rise up and declare "what thus saith the Lord is." If you just casually glance at social media, this is not too hard to find (especially since everyone is preaching online these days). One prophet says this. Yet another says that. And what they say is contradicting. We know God is not the author of confusion, so someone is wrong. In today's message, let's study the scriptures together and discover how to determine who is right and who is wrong. Links: Ministry School Partnership
When life throws you a curve ball
Unfortunately, as we are living life and working on our callings, we will experience trying situations. Maybe you will become physically ill, perhaps you will experience a death of a close friend or family member, or maybe there will be a financial emergency. These curve balls in life have the potential to knock us off the paths of our callings. In today's Daily Word, we examine the scriptures to see how Jesus dealt with life's curve balls, so we can learn from His example. Links: Ministry School Partnership
Don't be ashamed to charge money in times of need
It is very tempting in times of crisis to give away your products and services for free. However, if God has called you to business, your business is a blessing to the world in times of need when it is innovative and sells much-needed solutions for the problems people are facing. This economic slowdown is very temporary
It has been about two weeks since economies in many countries came to a near standstill. Because this is so unprecedented, it has caused many people to be fearful. However, the Holy Spirit pointed out a few scriptures to me that show this economic slowdown and social distancing are very temporary. In today's Daily Word, I will explore these scriptures with you. God will restore what it costs to get you back on track
When we mix God's will with our own we are headed toward an eventual failure. Unfortunately it is very easy to taint God's will and not even realize it. However, when we do realize it, we need to get back on track even if we've spent a lot of money going down a tainted path. Don't allow the fact that you spent money going in a wrong direction cause you to stress about changing directions because God loves you so much that He will restore whatever you spent going down the wrong path. Could this crisis refocus your calling?
Our world is experiencing a major crisis that is creating fear, confusion, and economic loss among many people. However, could this crisis be a much needed wake-up call for you that actually pushes you toward the calling God has for you? God doesn't create crises to show us our visions, but a crisis could help us refocus our calling and reveals to us what we already knew to be true about our calling. Pastoring at a Distance
The current global crisis has caused many organizations, including churches, to pause in-person gatherings. This has caused many (if not all) local churches to move their services and ministries online during this temporary session, which has forced pastors to enter a new era of "pastoring at a distance." Well, I have been pastoring at distance for the past six years, and the Holy Spirit has led me to share some of my experience to help local pastors make this transition. If you are a local pastor who finds yourself pastoring at distance, listen to this short message to help you in this time of transition. Also, if you know a local pastor, please share this with him or her.
Three ways God protects you in times of trouble
Trouble is not something God sends our way. In fact, God has many ways to protect us when trouble comes our way. Some ways are supernatural and others are subtle. Listen to today's Daily Word and learn about three of those ways God protects us in times of trouble. Links: Ministry School Partnership
You have an abundance of God's presence in a world that hates you
Because you are a follower of Jesus Christ the world is going to hate you. I know this because Jesus told us so. He said, since the world hated me, they will hate you. However, it really doesn't matter because we have an abundance of God's presence in us to protect us from all forms of worldly persecutions and attacks. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this concept. Links Ministry School Partnership
Pandemics can't stop God's calling on your life
If God called you to do it, then a pandemic can't stop your calling. Yes, the calling may come under attack or have temporary setbacks, but it cannot be stopped. However, if what you are doing is not from God, then a pandemic or any other trials will crush your efforts. Therefore, it is critical for us to be clear about and focus on our calling so that we can move forward regardless of the circumstances around us. Links: March Gathering Partnership
Don't fear like those who have no hope
Fear is contagious among non-believers because they don't have the antibodies to fight it, which is hope. However, as believers if we are not careful we can catch the fear virus if we give up our hope. The Bible instructs us not to fear like those who have no hope. Us fighting fear with hope is a sign to unbelievers that Jesus is real. Let's hope, not fear. Links: March Gathering Partnership
Fear causes you to lose focus
As an entrepreneur, your biggest asset is your focus. Consistent focus over a significant period of time will bring success. However, if you lose your focus, then success is slow or may never come at all. The biggest enemy to focus is fear. Fear will cause you to lose focus and thus, cause you to fail at your calling. Therefore, we cannot afford to allow the fear that has entered the hearts of many during this time to infect us. Links: March Gathering Partnership
Fear creates a future you don't want
Fear is a dangerous mindset that creates a future you don't want. It's a future of failure, frustrations, and unachieved goals because fear robs you of the faith required to succeed in life and business. Therefore, we must guard our mind and emotions against fear so we can succeed in the calling God has given us. Links March Gathering Partnership
Fear binds your spirit which allows the devil free access to destroy you
For Satan to destroy our finances, relationships, and calling, we first must give him access to our life. We grant him access by allowing fear into our lives, which binds our spirit. When our spirit is bound, Satan gains access and destroys our lives. Fear is a dangerous force that we need to kick out. In today's Daily Word, learn how fear binds and how to break those bonds to prevent destruction in your life. Links: Partnership
Fear grows through repetition
The most deadly thing about a virus spreading across the world is fear. Fear is a tool of Satan designed to destroy believers and non-believers alike. Therefore, in times of great distress our mission is to stop the growth of fear in our hearts. We stop fear's growth by cutting off its food source, which is repetition. Is it a lack of faith to miss church because of coronavirus?
With many public and private events being cancelled, pressure has been put on churches to close as well. Some churches are closing this Sunday and others are not. This unprecedented situation has caused many believers to question their faith. They are wondering, is it a lack of faith to miss church because of coronavirus? In tonight's Faith Chat I want to explore this question from a scriptural viewpoint. Links Partnership
When things get tough get reconfirmation
As you work on the vision God has given you, you will periodically experience some tough situations that may cause you to wonder if God has called you to do something else. In those times, it is important to get reconfirmation from God about your vision. It is not a sin (or lack of faith) to ask again. In fact, by getting reconfirmation, you will strengthen your faith and acquire the needed motivation to push on to victory. Links: March Gathering Partnership
What to do in the meantime
God gave you a vision to be in your own business or ministry full time. However, in the meantime, what do you do until the vision fully manifests? Is it a lack of faith to do something else while you wait for manifestation? Or maybe you should use your faith to jump directly into the vision? In today's Daily Word, discover through the Word of God what you should be doing in the meantime. Links: March Gathering Partnership
The blessing will protect until the time is right
For various reasons, the time may not be right for you to receive the fullness of the vision God has given you. Therefore, God needs you to be patient, but He has not left you hanging. His blessing will protect you and provide for you until the time is right for your vision to be realized. Links: March Gathering Partnership
God will make your crooked path straight
No one executes the vision God has given them perfectly. We all make minor and major mistakes that throw our vision off track, which creates a crooked path. However, no matter what mistakes we make — big or small — if we keep our trust in God, he will make our crooked path straight and help us accomplish our vision successfully. Links: March Gathering Partnership
You have an abundance of do-overs
Have you made a mistake implementing the vision God has given you? Maybe you have made many mistakes and it looks like the vision is in jeopardy. If this is the case, don't beat yourself up over it. God has given you an abundance of do-overs. No matter how many mistakes you have made, God is not upset with you. Just keep going. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this concept and to be encouraged to keep moving forward. Links March Gathering Partnership
Coronavirus prayer of protection
With the outbreak of coronavirus and constant media coverage of it, the world has entered a state of fear that is paralyzing many people. As believers we don't have to participate in the fear. Listen to this special Sunday message to strengthen your faith in God being your refuge in times of trouble.
Structure and Outcomes of Ministry School
God has added to my calling to lead ministers who desire to break with tradition and to usher in new dynamic and innovative ministries that respond to the times without comprising the truth of the Word. God has prompted me to step into this new phase of my calling by hosting a ministry school this year. In the short recording below, I share the structure and outcomes of ministry school, so you can begin to pray if God is leading you to join this year. Registration will open on March 31st.
God has given us four things to grow spiritually
One of the most powerful things we can do while living on earth is to grow spiritually. The more we grow spiritually, the better we can experience God's glory in our lives. Spiritual growth enables us to overcome difficult situations and accomplish great feats. Tune in to today's Daily Word to learn about the four things God has given us to aid in our spiritual growth. Keep the Word in your heart (or lose it)
The Word of God is not something you learn one time. Instead, it requires that you constantly study it so that it can be effective in your life. In fact, if you slack off in your study of the Word, you will lose the revelations you once received from it. In today's Daily Word learn more about this concept and discover a simple method to keep the Word in your heart. Links: Partnership March Gathering
Rejoicing with others is a key to winning
So, here is a problem I have occasionally. I am browsing through social media, and I see someone having the success I desire to have. Instead of being happy for them, internally I am sad I am not having that success. Obviously, that is the wrong response. I have learned through the Word of God that the correct response is to rejoice when others are winning, as that is a key to us winning. Listen to today's Daily Word to explore this idea. Value the Word of God over taking action
In our entrepreneurial culture, when we want results, our go-to catchphrase is "take massive action." However, in many cases, the best course of action to experience results is to take no action and just immerse ourselves in the word of God. This is especially true when you find yourself frequently worried and frustrated. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this idea. Links March Gathering Partnership
Who will enter the kingdom of God
When the final judgment comes, will you enter into the kingdom of God? This is a question many believers wonder or worry about because they are unsure. Either they feel they are not doing enough for God or have done too much wrong. To settle your heart and mind on this issue, listen to today's Daily Word. A reminder about the Word for 2020
At the beginning of each year, God shares with me a concept that He desires for those who are connected with Church for Entrepreneurs to focus on for that entire year. For 2020, the concept is "Clarity." In today's Faith Chat, I want to remind you about this word so you can experience unprecedented levels of success in 2020. Word from God: We are entering a year, where the callings that I have placed inside of my people will be accelerated and those who know their calling, accept it and execute it will experience unprecedented levels of success. 2020 is the year of clarity. The love of money attempts to silence Christians
All this week we have been studying the love of money because this sin determines who is your god. Either the Lord is your God or money is your god. As we wrap up this topic in today's Daily Word, I am discussing two ways the love of money will attempt to silence Christians from speaking against beliefs that are opposite God's ways. There are no titles in entrepreneurship (Faith Chat)
Titles such as manager, director, and CEO are coveted after in business and are conveyed as a form of human recognition of your efforts and success. As I was scrolling through Facebook today, I noticed how a few of my friends have these titles. And, honestly, I got a little jealous and depressed because I don't have one of those titles. However, Holy Spirit reminded me that in entrepreneurial endeavors led by God, there are no titles conveyed by man. The only titles we have are that of "starter" and a final title awarded to us by God of "well done, my faithful steward. " Listen to today's faith chat, and let's explore this idea together. If God is leading you to financially partner with us to equip believers across the world to succeed at their God-given entrepreneurial calling, follow this link https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner/
Intentional generosity fights the love of money
As we have learned, the love of money is serving money over God. One of the manifestations of this sin is trusting money over God, which causes us to hold onto or hoard money. One way to counteract this is to be intentional with your generosity. Acting intentionally will train you to be generous and directly fight the love of money from taking root in your heart. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this idea. If God is leading you to financially partner with us to equip believers across the world to succeed at their God-given entrepreneurial calling, follow this link https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner/
How is the love of money the root of all evil?
Scripture teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil. How can that be? How is racism, murder, fornication, child or spousal abuse, or any other evil things that we have seen caused by the love of money? In today's Daily Word, we are examining this question by showing that the love of money is a seed whose harvest is all kinds of evil. If God is leading you to financially partner with us to equip believers across the world to succeed at their God-given entrepreneurial calling, follow this link https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner/
The love of money trap in entrepreneurship
According to the Bible, the one thing that opens the door to all evil is the love of money. Now, most people think that this sin can only be committed by people with money. However, this is far from the truth. The love of money can be committed by anyone, believer or nonbeliever, and those involved in entrepreneurial pursuits need to be more careful than others not to fall into the love of money trap.
The love of money manifests various levels of greed
When we think about the sin of the love of money, we are quick to say that's not me. We say this because we associate the love of money with extreme greed. However, the love of money has a spectrum of greed and, if we aren't careful, we can find ourselves committing the love of money sin. In today's Daily Word, we are examining the various levels of greed produced by the love of money. Are you praying too much?
A lot of us have been unsuccessful in receiving the things we desire because we are praying too much. Prayer is required to receive your desires, but it's not sufficient. In today's Daily Word, learn how to add power to your prayers so you can receive what you pray for.
Fasting with prayer produces faith
Have you ever read a Bible verse and not quite know what it meant? Well, that happens to me a lot. In today's Daily Word, I am going to explore the meaning behind one such Bible verse: "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." As we explore this verse, we'll discover that properly combining prayer and fasting produces the faith we need to achieve great results.
Praying in tongues yields success in your calling
Speaking in tongues is one of those Bible concepts that feels a little out there and has many doctrinal interpretations and debates, which cause some Christians to shy away from it. However, speaking in tongues is not complex and is a powerful prayer method for the success of the calling God has given you. In today's Daily Word, learn what speaking in tongues is, how to receive it, and how to apply it towards your success.
When to pray vs using your authority
Searching through the Bible you'll find a vast difference between praying to God over a situation and using your God-given authority in a situation. This difference is important because if you pray when need to use your authority, then you won't receive what you desire out of the situation. In today's Daily Word, learn when to pray to God verses using your authority as a believer.
Receiving instructions is a main purpose of prayer
Praying to God has many purposes. One purpose that is often underutilized, however, is receiving instructions. In Jesus' life, when He prayed, He was not really requesting healing for people or asking for financial miracles; He was seeking and receiving instructions. Listen to today's Daily Word and learn more about this important application of prayer, so you can receive the instructions you need for your calling.
