A level of holiness is a prerequisite for leadership
Currently, the body of Christ is learning about Grace and how God accepts us just as we are. This means that "getting our lives right" is not a prerequisite for salvation or receiving God's love. However, if we desire to lead and succeed in our calling, then our lifestyle has to line up with how God designed us to live (aka living holy). In fact, living at a certain level of holiness is a prerequisite for leadership in the Kingdom of God. As leaders, we are held to a higher standard. Listen to today's message to explore this idea.
What kind of assignment has God given you?
When you receive an assignment from God, it is critical to know if the assignment is for provision or purpose. An assignment for provision is usually temporary and is designed to take care of an immediate financial need, whereas an assignment for purpose is long term and is the reason why you were born. Knowing the difference helps you have the appropriate mindset to implement the assignment and positions you for success in the assignment. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Fall break this week (September 23rd - 27th)
This week (September 23rd - 27th), we are taking a fall break. This means that there will not be any new podcasts this week. However, to still receive the word on a daily basis, visit our podcast archive of over 400 messages and select one to listen to. Our messages in the archive are broken down by category and topic, so you can easily find the right message for you each day. We will resume with new daily messages on September 30th.
Three stages of your calling
After having hundreds (maybe even thousands) of conversations with Christian entrepreneurs around the world, I have discovered that we can partition a calling from God into three stages. Stage one is the core (aka the big idea), stage two is the implementation details, and stage three is the adjustments and additions to the details along the journey. Listen to today's message to hear more about this.
Alone time with God needs to increase as success increases
As you become more successful, your time is going to be more in demand from clients, new opportunities, requests for partnerships, and people asking for advice. To stay centered with God and not become overwhelmed, we need to take intentional long-periods of time to be alone with God. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
Stop so you can move forward
For most of us, we are doing a lot of things, striving to succeed in our calling. Some things God called us to do and other things we decided to do. However, in either case, when God drops insight in your spirit for a new opportunity or direction, there is a strong possibility that He is also telling us we need to stop doing some things. He tells us to stop doing some things so that we can free up time and resources for the new thing He desires us to do. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
Success comes from focus directed by the wisdom of God
You have probably heard that hard work is the key to success; however, you know many people (and maybe yourself included) who work hard, but success is far from them. This is because hard work is wasted energy if it's not focused and directed by wisdom. Take a listen to today's message to dig into this concept.
Have a daily to-do list of little steps
I have had several conversations with people about their calling. What's very common among those I have talked to is a feeling of being overwhelmed with the vision and not knowing what to do to achieve it. This is a completely normal feeling when it comes to tackling big visions. To overcome this challenge, I find that it is extremely helpful to have a daily to-do list of little steps that move the vision forward. Listen to today's message to explore this idea.
Give to others without an expectation of receiving something back from them
Once a month I am instructed to remind you about the Word for 2019, "Radical Giving and Receiving", so you can take full advantage of the harvest God has for you this year. In today's message, let's look at having a heart to give to others without an expectation of receiving something back from them.
We need a progressive journey to achieve our calling
It would be nice if we could succeed in our calling after only a year or two. However, God has not designed it that way. Instead, He takes us on a progressive journey to achieve our calling over a significant period of time. This enables us to become the person we need to be in order to fully reach our potential. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Avoid seeking counsel from ungodly successful people
God desires us to seek counsel along our entrepreneurial journey. However, we need to avoid seeking counsel from ungodly, successful people. Receiving their counsel may lead to success, but it will cost you peace and lead you away from God. Although it is tempting to seek their counsel because they are so successful, we should avoid doing so. Listen to today's message to learn more about this.
Your sins are forgiven
You may need to open up your heart to really hear today's message because Satan has done a great job of convincing believers that they are sinners. When you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life, you stopped being a sinner and became righteous. This means that all your past, present, and future sins are forgiven. You don't need to constantly ask for forgiveness, see yourself as unworthy, or wonder if you are going to heaven. Listen to today's message to dig into this concept.
Fear binds your spirit which allows free access from the devil to destroy you
If you're experiencing destruction in any part of your life, then most likely fear has bound your spirit, which allows the devil free access to destroy you. In today's message, learn how fear binds and how to break those bonds so your life can be restored to wholeness.
Is Benny Hinn correct about the prosperity gospel?
You may have heard that Pastor Benny Hinn said that the prosperity gospel has gone astray and the Holy Spirit is fed up with it. Is this true? In today's message I am digging into this question and providing some insight from the Word.
You are called to sell (and to make money)
A lot of Christians struggle in business because they are hesitant to charge people for their products and services. However, if you are called to business, then you are called to sell, because without selling you have no business. In today's podcast, learn why this struggle exists so you can overcome it and start making more money.
Separate your calling from the details
To make the right decisions, it is extremely helpful to separate your calling from the implementation details. When you confuse or merge the details and the calling, you get frustrated and have little to no success. Listen to today's message to discover the difference and learn how to use your calling to judge the implementation details.

God sends opportunities we don't have to work to get
If we allow God to be the source of our prosperity and success, He will send us opportunities that we don't have to work to get. Our job is to recognize the opportunities when they come and simply receive them, instead of having to hustle and make something happen in our own power. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
God made me rich
Over the weekend, I had a dream. In the dream, on my clothes were written the words, "God made me rich." After waking up, the interpretation came to me. God wanted me to boldly declare (in a visible way) to everyone who was the source of my prosperity. However, this vision is not just for me — it is for you as well. Listen to today's message to learn more.
A small adjustment can create large results
The calling God has given you is unchangeable; however, if you apply your calling in the wrong direction, you will experience little to no results. A small adjustment in your direction can create large results. In today's message, I share my story of spending four years in the wrong direction and the small adjustment God had me make that has yielded great fruit.
Scriptures to encourage your faith for healing
If you are dealing with sickness (small or great) in your body, then listen to today's message a few times. I am sharing several scriptures to encourage your faith for healing. You will discover that God sent Jesus to heal any sickness or disease you may have.
Value the Word of God over taking action
In our entrepreneurial culture, when we want results, our go-to catchphrase is "take massive action." However, in many cases, the best course of action to experience results is to take no action and just immerse ourselves in the word of God. This is especially true when you find yourself frequently worried and frustrated. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Worry is very destructive to your life
Worry may seem innocent, but it is very destructive in the life of a believer. Worry blocks your faith and is a sign that you don't trust God. With blocked faith and a lack of trust, you will lack the power that can fix whatever situation you are worried about. In today's message, discover Jesus's perspective on worry and how He taught us to combat worrying.
You'll take a few hits following your calling
Just because God called you to do it doesn't mean you won't take a few hits while following your calling. We have a real enemy who doesn't want you to succeed. So, when you experience dumps in the road of calling, don't give up. Allow Holy Spirit to guide you around or through the dumps in the road. Listen to today's message to hear more about this.
God isn't testing you with problems
In life, we experience many problems that come up against us. Some problems come in the form of financial hardship. Others come as sickness, or even some come through a close relationship. However, whatever the type of problem, you can be sure that the problems you're facing are not God trying to test you. This is a critical point to grasp, because if you believe that God is sending you problems, then you're going to lack the faith required to remove them.
God cares for you and has already done something about your situation(s)
When bad things happen to us or to others we are tempted to ask, "God, don't you care? Why aren't you doing something about this?" It looks and feels like God is absent or does not care. Well, God does care and has already done something about the bad situations you and others face. Take a listen to today's message to learn what God has done for you and how to receive His help.
All things work together (for good) for those that love God
The Bible tells us that all things work together for our good, but what does that mean? Does it mean that bad things are good for us? Understanding this concept is critical to your faith, because a misunderstanding of this could crush your faith. Take a listen to today's message to learn what this bible concept means.
Knowing God loves you is the key to your faith
If your faith seems like it is not working, then check on your belief in that God loves you. Receiving the things you desire through faith hinges on you knowing that God loves you. Listen to today's message to learn how much God loves you and the importance of knowing that He loves you.
The new commandment Jesus gave us
A commandment is defined as a rule to be observed strictly. The old covenant is full of commandments, whereas commandments are minimal in the new covenant. So when Jesus says He has a commandment for us, we need to pay attention. Therefore, in today's message, we are examining what Jesus calls the "new" commandment He has given us.
Intentional fellowship heals the racial divide within the church
I hope this week's series on race, inequity, and privilege has been a blessing to you. In particular, my desire is for you to have a better understanding of God's heart on these issues so that we can all participate in racial restoration. To wrap up, I am discussing a major solution to healing the racial divide within the church. This solution is "intentional fellowship." Listen to today's message to learn about this idea.
An inconvenient truth about slavery, racism and Christianity | Part 4
Unfortunately, the United States of America has an inconvenient truth it needs to come to terms with—Christianity was used to justify slavery and promote racism. This dark seed is embed in the DNA of American culture and has caused (and still is causing) a fracture in the body of Christ. In today's message, we are exploring this concept and discussing ways to reduce its effect. Listen to today's message, which is part 4 of this week's series on race, inequity, and privilege.
Racial segregation in the Church makes us ineffective | Part 3
Research shows that 9 out of 10 churches in the United States are segregated. This means that if you randomly visit any church in America, there is a 90% chance that the congregation will be all black, all white, all Asian, all Hispanic, etc. This makes the Church one of the most segregated organizations on the planet. Because of this racial segregation in the Body of Christ, the Church is ineffective in effecting change in the culture.
Faith does not care about inequalities | Part 1
Many countries in our world have systematic inequalities where some people are held back and others are promoted based on race, gender, age, education, etc. This shouldn't be, but one day God dropped into my spirit that faith does not care about inequalities. The simple interpretation of this is that we succeed in life through our faith, regardless of any worldly inequalities. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Wanting something badly is not faith
Having a strong desire for something can deceive you into thinking that you have faith for it. However, wanting something badly is not faith. Faith is not a strong desire; it is believing that you will receive the object of your desire. This is a dangerous deception because no matter how much you want something, if you don't have faith for it, you will not receive it. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
Is it the "Door" or the "Key"
In today's message, I am tackling the question of manifestation. In particular, why hasn't the manifestation of a promise of God happen for you yet? To explore the answer, God gave me an analogy of a "door" and a "Key." Take a listen and discover the major reason behind the lack of manifestation.
Seedfaith harvest
God uses natural laws to teach us spiritual laws. Take, for instance, the natural law of seedtime and harvest. You sow a seed in the ground, give it some time, and wait for the harvest. This mirrors the spiritual law of sowing a seed and producing a harvest. However, in the spiritual version, it is not time that produces the harvest; it is your faith. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
False faith tricks us into laziness
Faith is the spiritual force God has given to us to receive the things we desire in this life. However, there is a false faith that tricks us into laziness, which hinders us from achieving our goals and receiving what we desire. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Review of the word for 2019 of radical giving and receiving
Once a month I remind you about the word for 2019 of "Radical Giving and Receiving", so you can take full advantage of the radical harvest God has for you this year. Since we are in the eight month of this year, for today's message I am doing a full review of this year's word.
Don't let your heart be troubled
You have probably heard of the mass tragedies in the United States, and the Word God gave me to share is "Don't let your heart be troubled." Listen to today's special message to hear more about this.
Confession is powerless disconnected from God
Your confession (through the words of your mouth) requests, commands, and receives the things you desire. However, even if you have faith and say the right words, you won't receive what you confess if your words are disconnected from the power source, which is God. Listen to today's message to learn about this concept, and discover how to connect your confession to the power source.
Are you acting like Satan in thought and word
As Christians, we should be imitators of God. However, when your words and thoughts are different than the word of God, then you are acting like Satan. Take a listen to today's message to dig into this concept, so you align your thoughts and words with God's Word and receive what God has for you.
A personal wilderness experience might be necessary for mind renewal
If God has called you to be an entrepreneur, the first thing you need to do is change your mind. The mindset of an entrepreneur is very different from that of an employee. If your mind is not changed, you will struggle in your calling. Therefore, most entrepreneurs must go through a personal wilderness experience (one of lack) for the purpose of mindset renewal, so they can achieve all God has planned for them.
Transfer faith to God by speaking words of faith
Faith is like potential energy; it has no power until it is transferred to God. This is why you study the Word and know in your heart that you have faith, but you still don't get results. The reason why is because you have not transferred your faith to God. In today's message, learn how to transfer faith to God by speaking words of faith at your problem.
How I study and teach the Bible
Today's message is a little bit different. Instead of teaching a message, I am sharing with you how I study and teach the Bible. I believe it is important to understand the perspective of those who teach you the Word so you can better receive what you are hearing. Take a listen and discover my process of teaching/studying and my perspective on the Word of God.
Should believers partner in business with non-believers
Business partnerships are powerful, and can yield better results than going it alone. But should a believer partner in business with a non-believer? In today's message, we explore the scriptures to find an answer.
How to increase the faith you have
To achieve greater success in life and entrepreneurship we need to be constantly increasing our faith. Increasing our faith is not about the size of faith, however, but about the breadth and depth of our faith. Listen to today's message to learn how to properly increase your faith to receive more and greater promises from God.
How to create a happy marriage within the next 6 months
God didn't design marriage to be depressing and unfulfilling. However, because marriage is between two imperfect people, marriage can easily become unfun and difficult. In today's message, I am presenting a six-month process to turn a marriage from drudgery to happiness and excitement. This is important because there is a connection between having a happy marriage and succeeding in a God-given calling.
The Bible teaches us principles not blueprints
There is a misconception among some believers about the purpose of the Bible. They study it looking to find God's specific plan for their lives. However, they become disappointed when they can't find it. The reason is that God designed the Bible to teach us spiritual principles, not to give us an exact blueprint for our lives and calling. However, if we learn the principles, then with help from the Holy Spirit, we can discover our own blueprint.
Five ministry gifts Jesus gave to us
Today's message is a general recap of our third-quarter gathering this past Saturday. Our goal was to allow Holy Spirit time and space to speak directly to the attendees' spirits about launching and running a successful ministry that blesses those who are called to serve. In this recap, learn about the five ministry gifts Jesus gave us.
Let's stop winning
The worldly way of entrepreneurship is focused on beating the competition. It is all about winning. However, as believers, we are not in competition with anyone. We are not trying to be better than another person, business, or ministry or hold another organization down, so we can win. Let's change our mindset from winning to succeeding. The succeeding mindset unleashes the power of God in our calling to fully achieve all God has placed in our hearts.
