Is it the "Door" or the "Key"
In today's message, I am tackling the question of manifestation. In particular, why hasn't the manifestation of a promise of God happen for you yet? To explore the answer, God gave me an analogy of a "door" and a "Key." Take a listen and discover the major reason behind the lack of manifestation.
Seedfaith harvest
God uses natural laws to teach us spiritual laws. Take, for instance, the natural law of seedtime and harvest. You sow a seed in the ground, give it some time, and wait for the harvest. This mirrors the spiritual law of sowing a seed and producing a harvest. However, in the spiritual version, it is not time that produces the harvest; it is your faith. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
False faith tricks us into laziness
Faith is the spiritual force God has given to us to receive the things we desire in this life. However, there is a false faith that tricks us into laziness, which hinders us from achieving our goals and receiving what we desire. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Review of the word for 2019 of radical giving and receiving
Once a month I remind you about the word for 2019 of "Radical Giving and Receiving", so you can take full advantage of the radical harvest God has for you this year. Since we are in the eight month of this year, for today's message I am doing a full review of this year's word.
Don't let your heart be troubled
You have probably heard of the mass tragedies in the United States, and the Word God gave me to share is "Don't let your heart be troubled." Listen to today's special message to hear more about this.
Confession is powerless disconnected from God
Your confession (through the words of your mouth) requests, commands, and receives the things you desire. However, even if you have faith and say the right words, you won't receive what you confess if your words are disconnected from the power source, which is God. Listen to today's message to learn about this concept, and discover how to connect your confession to the power source.
Are you acting like Satan in thought and word
As Christians, we should be imitators of God. However, when your words and thoughts are different than the word of God, then you are acting like Satan. Take a listen to today's message to dig into this concept, so you align your thoughts and words with God's Word and receive what God has for you.
A personal wilderness experience might be necessary for mind renewal
If God has called you to be an entrepreneur, the first thing you need to do is change your mind. The mindset of an entrepreneur is very different from that of an employee. If your mind is not changed, you will struggle in your calling. Therefore, most entrepreneurs must go through a personal wilderness experience (one of lack) for the purpose of mindset renewal, so they can achieve all God has planned for them.
Transfer faith to God by speaking words of faith
Faith is like potential energy; it has no power until it is transferred to God. This is why you study the Word and know in your heart that you have faith, but you still don't get results. The reason why is because you have not transferred your faith to God. In today's message, learn how to transfer faith to God by speaking words of faith at your problem.
How I study and teach the Bible
Today's message is a little bit different. Instead of teaching a message, I am sharing with you how I study and teach the Bible. I believe it is important to understand the perspective of those who teach you the Word so you can better receive what you are hearing. Take a listen and discover my process of teaching/studying and my perspective on the Word of God.
Should believers partner in business with non-believers
Business partnerships are powerful, and can yield better results than going it alone. But should a believer partner in business with a non-believer? In today's message, we explore the scriptures to find an answer.
How to increase the faith you have
To achieve greater success in life and entrepreneurship we need to be constantly increasing our faith. Increasing our faith is not about the size of faith, however, but about the breadth and depth of our faith. Listen to today's message to learn how to properly increase your faith to receive more and greater promises from God.
How to create a happy marriage within the next 6 months
God didn't design marriage to be depressing and unfulfilling. However, because marriage is between two imperfect people, marriage can easily become unfun and difficult. In today's message, I am presenting a six-month process to turn a marriage from drudgery to happiness and excitement. This is important because there is a connection between having a happy marriage and succeeding in a God-given calling.
The Bible teaches us principles not blueprints
There is a misconception among some believers about the purpose of the Bible. They study it looking to find God's specific plan for their lives. However, they become disappointed when they can't find it. The reason is that God designed the Bible to teach us spiritual principles, not to give us an exact blueprint for our lives and calling. However, if we learn the principles, then with help from the Holy Spirit, we can discover our own blueprint.
Five ministry gifts Jesus gave to us
Today's message is a general recap of our third-quarter gathering this past Saturday. Our goal was to allow Holy Spirit time and space to speak directly to the attendees' spirits about launching and running a successful ministry that blesses those who are called to serve. In this recap, learn about the five ministry gifts Jesus gave us.
Let's stop winning
The worldly way of entrepreneurship is focused on beating the competition. It is all about winning. However, as believers, we are not in competition with anyone. We are not trying to be better than another person, business, or ministry or hold another organization down, so we can win. Let's change our mindset from winning to succeeding. The succeeding mindset unleashes the power of God in our calling to fully achieve all God has placed in our hearts.
Tradition can cause us to misinterpret Holy Spirit
God usually doesn't give us instructions in an audible voice. The Bible teaches us that God speaks to us through an unction from the Holy Spirit. For lack of a better phrase, we will have a feeling from God that leads us to do a particular thing. This means we have to interpret that feeling to find the correct course of action God desires for us take. Therefore, we have to be very careful not to allow our traditions (i.e., the way we have always seen things done) misinterpret an unction from God.
Why salvation didn't make you successful
So you are Saved! But things aren't working out successfully in your calling and/or in other areas of your life. Well, the reason is because getting saved doesn't automatically make you successful. Take a listen to today's message to dig into his concept.
What did Jesus say about divorce and remarriage
Divorce and remarriage are two of the most disputed topics in the body of Christ. Some say you should never get a divorce and, if you do, you can never be remarried. Others say divorce is okay because of adultery. And another group says you can divorce and remarry for any reasons. In today's message, I examine what Jesus says about these two issues.
Unlock your identity from the past to move forward
Many of us have spent many years identifying ourselves as this profession or that profession. Maybe you have been a social worker for the past fifteen years, a brain surgeon for thirty years, or a high school teacher for five years. In any case, now God is calling you to step into something new that requires you to unlock your identity from what you were in the past. It can be scary because this is who you have been for so long, and you have found a sense of comfort in identifying as a social worker, brain surgeon, or high school teacher, etc. However, to move into your future, you have to unlock your identity from the past.
Faith is easy to get, but it's hard to keep
Faith is required to receive the things you desire, so faith is important. However, most people struggle with faith, but the issue is not getting faith — that is the easy part — the real issue is keeping faith. Take a listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
Collaboration is a major key to success
This week we launched our new online platform that allows you to connect, to share ideas, and to collaborate with Christian entrepreneurs from around the world. We created this platform because collaboration with other believers is a major key to your success. God has not designed us to be lone-ranger Christians. He has designed us to succeed in community. Listen to today's message to learn about the importance of collaboration and how our new platform allows you to collaborate to fully achieve your calling.
Your part to bring about Church unity | Part 3
We are wrapping up our three-part series on church unification. In today's message, we are examining the concept of real sin versus self-created sin. Real sin stops church unification, but self-created sin should not. By knowing the difference between the two, you can discover your part to play in the church unity that Jesus desires.
How does differences about sin affect Church unity | Part 2
Many churches distance themselves from each other over doctrinal issues. Many of these differences are minor, but some are more significant. In today's message, we continue our three-part series on church unification by examining doctrinal disagreements regarding sin and how those differences affect church unity.
Jesus desires for His Church to unify | Part 1
When Jesus desired for something to happen on Earth, He would pray to His father for it to happen. One of the major things He prayed for, according to scripture, was for church unification. Jesus desired that His church would be one, just like God and He were one. In today's message, I begin a three-part series on church unification.
How does God bring to pass the things you believe
Have you ever wondered about the process God uses to bring all of the things you're believing for into this natural world? If so, check out today's message and learn how God does it.
Anything given in faith can be a seed
Once a month I am instructed to remind you about the Word for 2019, "Radical Giving and Receiving", so you can take full advantage of the harvest God has for you this year. In today's message, let's look at how anything given can be a seed. You will re-discover the concept of seed-faith harvest.
Success is in your thoughts and words
If you look around your life and don't like what you see, then diagnose your thoughts and words. Our thoughts and words determine our life. Negative thoughts and words will put your life in a tailspin. However, thoughts of success manifest words of instruction to our body and ministering angels to bring our success to pass.
God desires for us to work with Him
Many believers are in a holding pattern, waiting on a direct word from God to get moving. However, God is not a micromanager. God has given us the general direction and wants us to be constantly moving forward. He just needs us to listening out for His stop signs and specific turns throughout our journey. Rather than pushing or pulling us, God desires for us to work with Him along the way.
Don't allow today's culture to convert you to their religion
A religion is a belief system that explains life to its followers. Every human and every culture has a religion. For example, one belief system says that humans evolved from lower life forms. Another belief system says humans can have sex with whomever they desire without rules. As Christians we have a belief system that explains how God created us and how He expects us to live. Our biggest challenge is to not allow the culture we live in to convert us to their religion because following their religion removes the power God has given us through Jesus Christ.
God is your refuge & fortress in times of trouble
In today's message, I want to encourage you to lean on God's protection in times of trouble. When situations look unwinnable is good to remind ourselves that God is our refuge and fortress.
Who will enter the kingdom of God
When the final judgment comes, will you enter into the kingdom of God? This is a question believers wonder or worry about because they are unsure. Either they feel they are not doing enough for God or have done too much wrong. To settle your heart and mind on this issue, listen to today's message.
Lack of submission is a major reason for failure
Entrepreneurship culture promotes the idea of starting your own thing, so you can be your own boss. This idea basically promotes an escape from submission. However, this is a dangerous motive, because, to succeed in entrepreneurship, you need to be able to submit to other people. Listen to today's message and discover why a lack of submission is a major reason for failure in entrepreneurship.
Patience is your missing ingredient to manifestation
Most of us hate waiting. And our current society is designed to make us discontent with waiting for anything. Everything must happen now. However, we need to learn patience because it is the key to our success. In today's message, I am examining why patience is the missing ingredient to manifestation. You will discover that you need to be patient with other people and yourself.
Did God deny Paul's request for healing?
I talked a lot last week about how we are not receiving answers to our prayers because of a lack of faith. However, one listener questioned if that was true because in 2nd Corinthians chapter 12 Paul asked God to remove his "thorn in the flesh," and it appears that God said no because it was good for him to have that thorn. If Paul's thorn was sickness and this interpretation of scripture is correct, one could say that God uses sickness to teach us something, and healing is not always God's will, even if we have faith. To explore this idea, in today's message, I am answering the question "Did God deny Paul's request for healing?"
Are you praying too much
A lot of us have been unsuccessful in receiving the things we desire because we are praying too much. Prayer is required to receive your desires, but it's not sufficient. In today's podcast, learn how to add power to your prayers so can receive what you pray for.
"If it be thy will" is a faith killer
When many Christians pray to receive their desires and needs, the prayer usually ends with the expression, "if it be Thy will." This feels like we are being humble and unpresumptuous; however, this expression is a faith-killer and will delay the receipt of your prayers. Listen to today's message to learn more about this idea.
Living a life where all things are possible
Jesus teaches us in the Bible that all things are possible for us if we have the faith to receive it. These include success in life and entrepreneurship, as well as health, healing, and much more. In today's message, I am examining this concept so that you can experience a life of manifested possibilities.
It's time to believe for real
I am continuing my discussion on receiving the things we desire from God. In today's message, I am addressing the idea that if we want to see results, we must believe "for real." Many Christians desire things (e.g., a new house, improved health, success in business, etc.). However, they don't truly believe that they will receive their hearts'desires. This lack of faith kills their results. Without true and unwavering belief, we are not in position to receive from God the things we desire.
Why prayers go unanswered
We are instructed from Scripture to pray for the things we desire. However, the experience of many Christians is that some, if not all, of their prayers go unanswered. Why is this the case? Jesus tell us why in Scripture. Listen to today's message to discover why prayers go unanswered and what you can do to have your prayers answered.
What to do when you doubt your faith in Jesus
I want to talk about something that is common but rarely preached about, which is what to do when you doubt your faith in Jesus. Faith in Jesus is not consistent among many believers. We believe when things are good. But sometimes, we wonder if God is real when the pressures of life are beating us down. In today's message, I am addressing this issue and discussing how to handle it.
Create the Future you Desire
Do you desire this year to be one of the best years of your life? If so, God dropped in my spirit that we need to be like Him and create the future we desire. And the way God creates is speaking the end from the beginning. Listen to today's message to learn about this idea and discover how to apply it, so this year will be extraordinary.
Is Jesus your Master or Lord
Today, I want to ask you a question: Is Jesus master or Lord to you? The answer to this question determines whether you will just follow His teaching in an optional way with spotty results in your entrepreneurial calling or allow Jesus to lead you all the way to success in your calling. Listen to today's message to learn about this difference and determine if Jesus is master or Lord to you.
Anointed deviations do not slow down your calling
I am a strong believer of staying focused and not deviating from your calling, because focused pursuits over time bring success. Whereas, deviations from your path slow down your calling to a standstill. However, we also have Holy Spirit inside us who knows how to navigate the ups and downs of a calling. This means that there may be seasons when Holy Spirit will direct you to take an anointed deviation that may appear to break your focus. The difference between an anointed deviation verses a self-appointed deviation is that an anointed deviation does not slow down the success of your calling. It will compliment it. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept.
The mark of the beast is an economic system
Most Christians are confused about what is the "mark of the beast." However, God never intended for this to be a confusing or misunderstood topic, because it has great impact on believers, especially believers in the marketplace. This is because the mark of the beast is an economic system that's design to force believers to conform to worldly non-Christ-like norms and practices. In today's message, learn what the mark of the beast really is and how it affects you as an entrepreneur of faith.
A God-given calling to entrepreneurship is not easy nor quick
Is your entrepreneurship journey filled with a lot of ups and downs and is taking longer than you expected? If so, listen to this faith nugget and be encouraged to keep pressing forward.
Boycotting secular companies could hinder your vision
I found myself getting upset with a few companies I used to run the Church for Entrepreneurs. These companies were promoting non-Christ-like behavior, and I wanted to stop using them because of that. However, Holy Spirit showed me that if I boycotted every company that went against Christ, I would effectively bring my vision to a standstill. He showed me that just because a company is ungodly doesn't automatically mean I should boycott them. Instead, I should check with Holy Spirit and not my emotions. Listen to today's message to dig into this idea.
Do we need a ceremony to be married?
In today's message I am answering a listener's question. The question is, "Do we need a ceremony to be married?" The scenario behind this question is that this couple is living together like a married couple without officially being married. The male in the relationship wants to know what exactly is sexual sin and what does the bible say about marriage.
Change hearts not culture
We are enveloped in an unending culture war. Some battlegrounds are over homosexuality, others are over abortion, and so on. However, I believe we are fighting the wrong war. Instead of fighting to change culture, let's fight to change the hearts of the people in the culture. In today's message, learn more about this idea and discover how we as entrepreneurs are well-positioned to change hearts.
Let go of your thoughts to receive from God
We hold back our success because the instructions God gives us for success go against how we think it should be done. When we do this, we are putting our thoughts above God's thoughts. To truly receive the fullness of the success God has for us, we must let go of how "we think," and make room for God's thoughts. Then we can hear God clearly and act accordingly to receive our success.
