You may need to open up your heart to really hear today's message because Satan has done a great job of convincing believers that they are sinners. When you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life, you stopped being a sinner and became righteous. This means that all your past, present, and future sins are forgiven. An unfortunate reality of living in a fallen world is that we all make mistakes or intentionally do wrong things. When this occurs, because we are believers in Jesus, Jesus' blood has cleansed us from sin, so God has forgiven us. However, it can be hard to forgive ourselves. In today's message, I want to encourage you to forgive yourself and move on because unforgiveness hinders us. Forgiveness needs to be given to others as well as to ourselves. For various reasons, the time may not be right for you to receive the fullness of the vision God has given you. Therefore, God needs you to be patient, but He has not left you hanging. Ninety-nine percent of the time God gives us partial information about our calling. Therefore, we must get comfortable with taking action on partial information if we desire to be successful. I know this all too well, because a few years ago Church for Entrepreneurs entered a new phase of its calling: from just a podcast to an online church to entrepreneurs worldwide. This path was filled with partial information from God. In today's message, I am examining this concept and presenting our story as a case study to help you see how God is guiding you over the years, even if you don't know exactly where it is all going. God has given us two powerful tools to succeed in life and heed our calling. However, for these two tools to be effective, we have to use them actively together. It like having a sword and a shield. They are helpful on their own, but without using both together, you'll lose the battle. The two tools I am referring to are the Bible and Holy Spirit. Because the world is in opposition to the Word of God we should not be surprised when politicians make laws that go against God's Word. When we make mistakes we have to be courageous enough to let them go. Maybe you started a business you should not have, perhaps you said 'yes' to a project that is out of alignment with your calling, or you hired (or partnered with) someone you should not have. In the 2020 election believers are voting very differently and are very passionate about their candidate. Each side believes their candidate is God's choice to lead now or is better than the other. Thus, part of the Body of Christ will be upset with the results of the election. There will be celebrations and I told you so's. Knowing what you are called to do is just the first step to success. Once you are clear about your calling, the next question to clarify is, "how has God gifted you to function in your calling?" God has given every human the ability to have faith. Some use this ability to have faith that their education will land them a high paying job. Others have faith that medical doctors can repair something broken in their body. However, they might discover that faith in their education, doctors, etc., does not gain them the desired results.
